No doubt. Kids are not stupid. I remember being a kid, watching Cookie Monster and thinking, “Cookie Monster is silly. He can’t have cookies all the time!” That’s the farking joke! Kids get it, they don’t need him saying ‘cookies are a sometimes food.’ Explaining the joke kills it.
Next they’ll have Bob singing, “Being a sexually repressed white homosexual man in a world of children and sock puppets is a sometimes thing”.
