ok so you said that all americans have a distorted view on what beauty is, when in fact most do(sorry all). She is a beautiful person, true beauty is not what you see you but how they are. This specific actress has not done anything to make us question her character, unlike other “beautiful” people who do drugs and get into trouble with the law. i do believe, yes, america has changed the definition of beautiful, look back at the women of of the 60′s, 70′s, and 80′s they were truely beautiful.

And if you’ve seen her outside of the “Ugly Betty” look, she’s reaaaaaaally cute. In a completely physical way, I mean. I don’t know anything about her personality, IRL. I’d hope she’s as nice as Betty, though!!

Falck, all personal facts about yourself aside, are you aware that you are contradicting yourself, you make good points, yes America’s *entertainers have a distorted view of beauty, but you say it’s about someone’s opinion, but you claim that she is ugly and that’s the end of the story, you are not allowing anyone to disagree with that fact that you think she’s ugly. as you can tell from the comments, many people think she’s beautiful (on a side note, hot and beautiful are two completely different ideas in my opinion) Everyone has their own view and you need to stop saying they can have that opinion and then take it away and say they are wrong when they disagree, opinions don’t work like that

Why does anyone care about the leet speak? I thought that was rampant on sites like these. Jesus, get a life and stop whining about it, you freaking cry babies!

Over all, though, its funny that I ran into this just because I was looking at the cover of a dvd box set for this series that my friend owns and I was thinking… “She’s not ugly at all…”

Even if the show is supposed to be siding with her or whatever, I think it’s really shallow to call her ugly. Glasses and braces does not mean ugly… I’ve never seen the show so I don’t know if its just because everyone in the show is shallow and calls her that or what… but yeah.

When I first started reading your comments i didnt think you were a bit of a jackass.
and the whole dating four women is not really something you should be proud of, although you are a man and probably have different views about such things.
But i agree, people should calm down about spelling, if indeed you do speak 3 other languages.
but then again;

I think this is great and so true. Hollywood’s definition of “ugly”- over 120 lbs. with one exception- you’re at least 6 ft. tall. Braces? Come on! Braces make people look better- eventually. There’s no problem with them. And glasses are coming back into style. America Fererra is really pretty. Even how she’s dressed, etc. on that show doesn’t make her ugly. Forget the media!

Interesting point. As an Australian, I am amused that I have been lumped in as an American simply because I disagree with Falck’s views.
