As an ageing metal head, no their latest stuff isn’t ‘terrific’, but that’s not comparing them to what’s out there now, but to what they did before. Their ‘not terrific’ is pretty much head and shoulders above the crap that masquerades as metal these days…
(I know, it’s like the Yorkshiremen sketch…. you just cant get the wood these days, in my day errand boys used to whistle and you could feed a family of six on threppence…)

the fact that all these bands (Led Zep, ACDC, Take That, Boyzone, New Kids on the Block) can all make a come back SUCCESSFULLY (especially NKOTB) just shows how bad music is nowadays (James Blunt, The Kooks, Razorlight, Kings of Leon, “Other Generic Indie Band”).
The thing about Led Zep and AC/DC is that their music will still be remembered 30-40 years from now.
Everything else… will be forgotten….

ACDC, the best band in the world!
Saw them 3 times in 1979 with Bon Scott. That’s when they were truly ferocious in concert. The times I saw them with Brian Johnson were never as good as the Bon Scott shows. Youtube ‘ACDC 1979 Cleveland’ for a perfect example.
