what do you mean “old”? Just because there were t.v. shows that didn’t have sex jokes? Just because there were shows with humor that required the merest amount of thought? Okay, we didn’t roll on the floor every time. but we weren’t reminded of out frailties every 90 seconds. Jerry Lewis would never have a career in “this day and age”. Are we really better for the tastelessness and insensitivity?

Actually, I think he DID say this in some episode or another.
About a couple months ago I watched all the ALF episodes Hulu has up and I’m pretty sure he did say that.
I’m definitely old. I remember Alf and I was no longer a kid when I watched it. And Dana & KayaKase are right – that is a gag from the show.

That totally sounds like something ALF would say! AWESOME!!! LOL
ALF was one of the worst sitcoms ever,in my opinion. They overdid it on the cat-eating jokes,and also over did it on trying to hide an obviously loud alien who was too stupid to keep himself hidden.
Glad ALF was cancelled..there are far more better sitcoms(like Full House) to watch than ALF.
