  3. Pic says:

    Who is she ?.

  4. Falck. says:

Comments like this are so pathetic.

  5. Brit says:

I never said everyone should like her. I just said I like her, and that would be my opinion.

  6. Sofia says:

It’s not her fault she sucks. Someone told her she was good. I want to meet the dude who produced her ‘music’ and torture him. LOL

  7. Lindsey says:

her music is fun, dance-able pop. no one is claiming her to be the next debbie harry, and she definitely does not suck. i like her.

  8. hell hath no fury says:

Although I don’t love her, I often find myself in a trance of loudly singing off key and getting stared at in traffic when her rendition of ‘Use Your Love’ comes on. Like the first version wasn’t shameful enough.
    *hangs head in shame*

  9. Jaybob says:

    Do not agree with.

Will not gripe about people who do.

    Thank you :)

  10. The Dude says:

Hate or love her music all you want. she’s certainly hot either way.

  11. /b/ says:

You’re So Gay is the funniest thing ever.
I just didn’t know she knew my ex.

  12. merrrr says:

i hate kay perry so much. so very very very much. this made me smile.

  13. Luis says:

I like her songs, they’re very dancy. And she is hot indeed.

  14. sadness says:

i miss the days when music was a way of expression, not a contest of whose song is the most “danceable”

    • chimmeychango says:

you must be really unfamiliar with music, as many classical musical styles are centered around dance…which as also a form of expression. lets see if i can name a few older than you.lets see there is the tango, the waltz, the meringue, lets not forget salsa and gigs, oh or the ballad. im not going to go inot the very obscure origins of global ethnic music which also generally involved dance as i don tthink they would allow a comment that long.

      • WarDragon says:

they weren’t trying to be popular like a lot of artists do now.

        • That Guy says:

Oh, but they did. I mean, if your profession is to make music for people to dance to, and no one likes it, no one will buy it. End of story.

  15. Truethiness says:

Awww look at all the little non-main streamers desperately trying to convince everyone that they are so very very counter culture when it comes to music. So much so in fact that they can’t even enjoy a catchy harmless song without “hating” someone for it.

The fact of the matter is this: She has made a billion dollars off that song, she has a very popular follow up which will ensure her at least 2 more albums if she has any type of sense at all. Assuming she stays away from drugs and doesn’t fall into a big pile of ugly she will be at least a C list celeb for the rest of her life and will never have to do a conventional job again. Where as you, on the other hand, are feeling good about your super awesome 4 day weekend before you go back to your tedious, mind killing, number mill type job.

    • Carol Elaine says:

Raking in the money doesn’t make a person talented. The catchiness of a song doesn’t make it good. Popularity doesn’t mean the “singer” or the song are good. It’s not a matter of being counter-culture. It’s a matter of recognizing talent and recognizing when “the emperor has no clothes.” William Hung parlayed his lack of talent into a very short, somewhat popular music career in which he made respectable money (click on my name for details.

BTW, working for a NASA space center? Not even close to tedious or mind killing.

Don’t make assumptions about people you don’t know, Truethiness. Folks may think you’re projecting.

    • WarDragon says:

are you Katy Perry? :O XD

  16. chimmeychango says:

ouch… how did you know i worked in a mill?

  17. You says:

    In the words of Quagmire:
    “I’d do anything to her”

    and that includes singing along.

  18. }¤‹ И A Y Я ›¤{ says:

    i concur

  19. chimmeychango says:

i dont think thats how it works forge. one would assume that in a multi-billion dollar industry they get the sex before the contract… so there probably is no “in hopes of”

  20. Cheshire says:

She can sing, so I don’t really get why everyone says her music sucks. She actually has a voice. Unlike many other musicians out there that are so popular.

  21. karol says:

    dat is so not funny

  22. cyclonic says:

Mass-produced commercial pap. But she does it oh so well, so I just can’t hate her for it. Shes gotta a pretty decent voice, she looks good and is good at selling herself.

Lets face it, as long as she doesn’t go blowing her trumpet about how great she is and realizes that shes nothing more than a marketing tool for a large multi-national corporation, she’ll do ok, be pretty inoffensive and hopefully set herself up for life – as long as she doesn’t get screwed on the first album deal (ie, gets a 2 or 3 million buck contract and then has to pay it all back to the company cover the costs of videos, recording studios, publicity et al).

  23. MissMalice says:

    Hottttttttttttttttttttttttt

  24. Suzannah says:

Somebody should hang a sign on that chick that says “I’m totally Bi”

  25. WarDragon says:

recalling her voice, I don’t think that’s where the talent lies

  26. Koi says:

    I like Katy Perry…

  27. XThatoneBunnyX says:

    I think she is Beautiful……sometimes!

  28. Gabrielle says:

I like her music! Not that much “I Kissed a Girl” though.

  29. Dolly says:

    opinion (ǝ-pĭn`yǝn) n.

A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof.
