I’m so sick of seeing this idiot in the media…

    • JB says:

      He’s not an idiot.

He’s just playing an idiot in a film based on a book written by an idiot.

      • Wasp says:

Maybe he’s just a partial idiot….or a man riding on idiocy.

        • Jennifer H. says:

I find it hilarious that so many people feel the need to insult both Robert and Stephenie Meyer. I guess doing an excellent job of portraying a character from a book written by an extremely talented woman WOULD make people jealous enough to randomly insult you, but that doesn’t change the stupidity of it.

Robert did an amazing job as Edward, and he most certainly isn’t an idiot.

Clearly, all the idiots are here…

          • carol says:

ty jennifer i have to agree with you there why is it that people always critizize talent is it because they dont have any that must be it let the person shine for who and what they are if u dont have anything nice to say dont say it at all cause im pretty sure that person finds worse faults within themselves then u ever could and they never really asked ur opinion . once again ty jennifer and kaboom for proving someone has a mind on here

Unfortunately the incompetence of the general American public has launched him into a position of fame where he should not be. Much like the Jonas Brothers, he is supported by a fan-base of preteen girls who who use thesauruses to make themselves sound as if they are intelligible people with a mind of their own, and not just following the crowd.

              • Anonymous says:

To be fair, it’s not only pre-teen fans. For either of them. I am not ashamed to say that I am over the age of 18 and like Twilight, Jonas Brothers AND Robert Pattinson. And I really didn’t follow the crowd in any of those, especially considering my age

                • Clockwork Owl says:

I feel the need to point out that the comment I am replying to was written anonymously.

Mr. Pattinson was smart to take the role: I’m sure he is living very comfortably at this moment. However, besmirching one’s good acting name is a large price to pay. I can’t even stand the Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire movie anymore; every time I see his face in it I internally groan and must leave until his character dies (sorry if that’s a spoiler to anyone).

Twilight is getting much more attention than it should have ever received. IMO, there are soooo many other books that the public would be better off reading and yet those go nearly unnoticed. (For the record, I have given the Twilight saga a shot. They aren’t worthy of anyone’s time).

In short, I’m just generally vexed by any paranormal romance novel these days. Whenever see one in the bookstore I roll my eyes, snort, and walk the opposite direction.

              • sparkly says:

No… what’s unfortunate is that people think artists, like Robert Pattinson, aren’t worth because they are in crappy-popular movies. You probably should see some indie movies of him to see his real talent.

                • Leona says:

Dunno if that was in reply to me but I’ll respond in confusion anyway.
That is a fair point I guess I only seem to have seen him in popular movies and didn’t think his acting was that great, but to be fair if it was an over-hyprf movie then he might not have been that comfortable doing it. I dunno =S
Indie movie wise as you phrased it :D what would you recommend?

              • Anonymous says:

I agree with you that he is not a very good actor, but I am offended at the rest of your comment. I happen to like the Jonas Brothers, and I am certainly not one of the girls you describe. For example, I hope to get my PhD. in archaeology, enjoy reading the classics (such as Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, and Le Phantom de l’Opera by Gaston Leroux.), and only rarely use a thesaurus. I am not one of the gormless girls you described in your comment, and I am a teen fan, though not of Twilight. So I would really appreciate it if you wouldn’t generalize like tha. Thank you, and I hope you do not take offense.

                • Rosencrantz says:

I love that whole ‘Actually I’m really smart, so shut up’ retort. Not that I doubt that what you are saying is true, Anon, I just have a hard time taking anyone seriously when they pull that.
But y’know what? You are totally entitled to your own opinion and have every right to voice it. Or type it, whatever.

                  On that note, here’s mine:
I don’t think that Stephanie Meyer is a talented writer. Personally, I find her work repetitive and bland and don’t understand how some people could see her as some sort of genius, but to each his (or her) own, I suppose.
I have heard about all I can take about Edward freakin’ Cullen as well. He’s a fictional character, he is not your soulmate, he’s not real, and even if he was, you’ve read the books a million times, so you should know he’s taken and it just ain’t gonna happen.
Robert Pattinson on the other hand, is, I believe, quite versatile. Cedric Diggory, Edward Cullen and Daniel Gale are all quite different personalities which I think he portrays well. Just because he is the physical embodiment of a character does not mean he was completely responsible for the whole thing. As I said, Edward is fictional. Stephanie thought him up and made him the way she wanted, and Robert had to keep that in mind as an actor approaching the role. What I’m trying to say is that while you, as an audience member, may have not liked Edward in the film, it wasn’t necessarily all Robert’s fault (it doesn’t make him a terrible actor because he plays a terrible character, the writing is somewhat responsible too).

                  Back on the original subject:
I’ve seen this pic around for a while now, but that’s the best caption so far!

PS. this whole post wasn’t all directed at Anon, it just started out that way, don’t take it personally!

                  • Blackwater57 says:

                    Rosencrantz-you are awesome.

                  • BigMomma says:

Beautiful reply, Rosen! I, too, do not understand why Ms. Meyer is getting so much hoopla over her bland and boring books. Really, how can you possibly read over 50 pages of a depressed teen girl whining about how she just can’t deal with her feelings? I’d rather read good literature.

By the way Ms. Anon, I believe most everyone aspires to be a lofty creature (PhD, doctor, astronaut), but that doesn’t make you a flipping neurosurgeon, sweety. Don’t use that as an argument to show your intelligence…it just doesn’t work! Plus, I can google several fancy French classics and spew them out, but that still doesn’t show the smarts either. Please don’t be offended.

                • that1person says:

yes. you must be so intelligent. Only the most intelligent people get offended at things, and not by them.

                • Person says:

I agree with anonymous. (I hope you get you PhD!) EXCEPT the part that he isn’t a good actor, he TOTALLY IS. :)

              • Picardkid says:

Anonymous you hypocrite, that’s the wrong use of the word “intelligible.” Where did you learn that word, A THESAURUS? Way to fail at your own argument.

            • ReduceWar says:

I think you both are crazy. Its a friken book for god sake! And Robert is an idiot. I mean who takes a shower every 2 months anyway???
I could think of a ton of actors who would have done a better job playing Edward in the stupid move.

              • DD Angel says:

Well, I did read a quote from Matthew McCounaghey in long forgotten issue of People Magazine that states that he hasn’t used deodorant in 20 years.

            • teh cuteness says:

they have to criticize because SOMEONE doesn’t know how to spell crittcize

          • Coe Coe!! says:

yes, i do think that Robert Pattinson did a WONDERFUL job in Twilight, but i dont c y he and Stephanie Meyer r getting all the crap in here.

            • la says:

same thats exactly what i was thinking!! i thought he was amazing in twilight! but rob and stephanie dont deserve all these insults

            • EpicAwesome101 says:

He did a great job in Twilight, and his other movies are great as well. He is really good at showing emotion when he acts.

          • sneakernight says:

Rock on, sisterfriend! People need to cut the crap and and admit they’re jealous.

          • twilightreader18 says:

            that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
true. people are being a jealous, idiotic, maniac.

            • codfish says:

I’m absolutely sure that no one would be jealous over someone who managed to write a book ment for sex crazed teens that a five year old could understand. I am also sure that anyone willing to read such a book would be idiotic. And anyone who liked it enough to stand up for it would be a maniac. I just feel sorry for the poor fool who took the job of Edward Cullen ( I totally agree with Rosencratz).

              • WMDKitty says:

The books are, granted, mindless fluffy morality plays, yeah, but nonetheless enjoyable.

                Twilight good, moronic fangirls bad.

          • cassie says:

i totally aggree with u. They insult him just cause he played that part. They are the idiots

          • TickleGoat says:

Oh, come on. Twilight is basically smut for little girls. Women get off on the idea that there’s something that will die without them being around. And that’s the premise of the whole series and nearly every single vampire/vampire-lore book ever created. Edward is a sub-par character who barely has any real background or character development. The only saving grace is that they used a PLOT DEVICE to make the character completely devoid of any emotion! You might as well have had JK Rowling take credit, or Dan Brown! Literary standards have plummeted ever since the people who felt that Nancy Drew was intellectually stimulating have taken up the pen. That’s a fact.

          • Anonymous says:

If you think Stephenie Meyer is good, I suggest you read the classic novels to understand what “excellence” is. Novels I recommend are as follows: Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (no abridged versions!), The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, Rob Roy by Sir Walter Scott, All Quiet On the Western Front, and Animal Farm by George Orwell. I hope these remind you of what excellence truly is, in it’s purest form.

            • Kait says:

THANK YOU! I was just going to say, anyone who thinks Stephenie Meyer is a good author has obviously never read a truly great novel, and one doesn’t even have to go as far back as to books you’re describing. There’s plenty of authors out there writing books today that are much better than her stuff! She uses words in her novels that are the “ten dollar” words but don’t make contextual sense, and there is no character development and.. oh my god there are just too many things wrong with her books to even list. Don’t get me wrong– I love a love story as much as the next person, but if there’s someone who wants to read an amazing love story that has much more substance, they should read some Garth Nix, especially since his writing style is also in the same age group as Meyer. Or the Belgariad. Or Odd Thomas. There’s so much out there that deserves so much more attention!

              • Bukoa says:

I’ve read some of the Garth Nix books. Very good, the Sabriel series.

However if you want some proper fantasy novels you need to read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I’m only on the second book but it’s so awesome.

          • Billy Combs says:

obviously there are enough ‘idiots’ to justisfy all these burns… hmm maybe people are just expresing their opinions? hmm maybe?… wanna show them up? be the bigger person walk away, at least that way we can enjoy a bit of a laugh with out you

          • angry says:

            TRUE THAT!!!

          • krissy87 says:

Wht I find hilarious is that some people who have read Meyer’s books (yeah, I’ve read them) still think she’s some kind of hero or God or something…newsflash, this pic isn’t even about her… I think we’ve found the real idiot ^ *cough* that’s you *cough*

I actually like Robert Pattinson, but not because he plays Edward Cullen.

          • Liz says:

Of course, because every book based on a wet dream is done by an extreamly talented writer.

            Stephanie Myer is a hack.

          • cynic says:

have you ever sat down and read something other than twilight? the book sucks, all it is is a mastabitory tool for 14-16 girls and 14-20 gay guys. i mean really

          • lmao says:

much like your self?? i agree.

          • Meg N says:

I like the way you think.
Plus you have to read all the books and see the movie to say anything about it and half the people don’t.

          • Jonas Bernardes Silveira says:

“An extremely talented woman”? Is that an euphemism for “Housewife”?

Don’t think I dont like the hole vampire thing, but (i’m sorry…) Twilight is just stupid.

Rowling is WAY BETTER than this Twilight lady, even Paolini does a better work than her, as a copicat….

          • that1person says:

You are making a generalization. Some people may be jealous, twilight haters who insult pattinson because they feel the need to oppose all things that “popular”* girls adore. I, however, believe that pattinson is a wooden actor who appears to have one facial expression which he uses to convey all emotions. Not to mention a monotone voice, which makes for a soporific performance.

*when I say “popular”, I refer to the social upper class of girls.

          • SavingFishFromDrowning says:

You crack me up, you sad, sad Twitard.

          • Jaqi says:

or maybe, Jennifer H., you just have no taste for writing that rates above the moronic scale. may i recommend Ann Rice?

          • Paranoid Android says:

Are you talking about Twilight? Because both movies in the saga thus far have sucked, and I do not mean that in the vampire type of way.

          • Steve says:

Jennifer H. The book is written for 12 year olds (I’ve actually looked at it). If you honestly read it. Its really bad literature from other books I’ve read and from what others say. Stephenie Meyer made a book on vampires. Not any vampire, she candy coated it for the little ones. ;) So don’t go flaming people, let me guess you only like the movie because you think Edward is “hot”. Or any other…. idiotic reason such as peer pressure. But honestly what got you into twilight? I’m not here to flame people. I’m here to find out personally why people fight over such a thing.

          • Call me Roman says:

Talent? Ha! Jealous? Haha! Steph’s Meyerpires are little pixies, hardly worthy of being called ‘vampires’. And her book is basically a wet dream on paper.

How could I be jealous? Freshmen in high school could write better.

And Robert.. Well he needs to brush his hair. Being hygienic is always a plus.

            • Person says:

wow, it doesn’t surprise me that you say that, you of course are just JEALOUS of Rob’s awesomeness. You have the awesomeness of a used tissue. Robert is an EXCELLENT ACTOR and Stephenie Meyer is an WONDERFUL AUTHOR. Rob was in Haryy Potter AND TWILIGHT. I don’t see you in any movies, do I?! :)

          • EpicAwesome101 says:

Wow. Be my best friend. I think the same way and you are one of the few people who actually seem to have some knowledge here. Most are haters. I totally agree with you. They are jealous. Rob is awesome and he did a fantastic job in his role as Edward. Stephanie Meyer is a wonderful author.

          • Blackwater57 says:

Yo jennifer H., I’m real happy for you, and Imma let you finish, but Blade was the best vampire of all time! OF ALL TIME!

          • Lana says:

Because most Twilight fans are 10-16 years old, they are too illeterate to even notice that the novels are so badly written.

          • jeremy says:

do you even know how to read, or literature

also, sunlight kills vampires, and if they choose not to eat blood, they die

          • me says:

i agree, people are just jealous cause they want the sort of attention he gets(: but they just wont admit it

      • KaBooM says:

You are officially my favorite person ever! That was awesome! :D

      • Lucy says:

        Seconded, LOL.

      • jEE JEE says:

That book is mint and he’s mint in it.
        Twilight Rules

        • Coe Coe!! says:

          wait… wat does that mean…

          • jim says:

You know, he looks like a mint candy. He acts like a mint candy, too. The whole emo vampire crap that represents Twilight is nothing but a candy, if you know what I mean.
I feel sorry for the morons who consider this book to be a better reading than the daily newspaper. On the other hand, I feel lucky to be able to compare this book to other novels that deserve a fanbase which they do not have (being to difficult to read by teenagers, although they are required to be read in highschool).

The worst problem here is the interwebz, since nowadays every moron can express their opinion.

      • twilightreader18 says:

you sir, r an idiot. (if your a boy, then im calling you a woman.) stephanie
        meyer, is an excellent writer.

        • Death by Taco says:

I hate when you people talk about Twilight like Jesus read it to you at bedtime. I don’t get what all the hype is about. I read all four books, the Host, and half of Midnight Sun online. I looked everywhere, but Stephenie Meyer has truly hidden her writing talent well.

        • jim says:

an excellent writer? on what do you base that statement? Just because you liked the book it does not mean she is a good writer.
For example, I’ve seen 2012 movie, and I liked it. But I also admit that it sucked monkey balls, the plot was full of holes (so to speak), a lot of things didn’t make any kind of sense and overall was much less than I was expecting. It sucked. But because of special effects and story, I *kinda* liked it.

Same with this crap of a book. Either you like it or not, you are not good enough as a critic (critic as in job, everybody can criticize but few get payed for it) to say that she is a good writer. She’s not. You probably don’t have enough books in your portfolio, other than that I can’t possibly think how you could enjoy Twilight… or say that SM is a good writer.

Then again, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Unfortunately.

      • twilghtlover33133 says:

He’s not an idiot! And the author is not an idiot. You guys are the idiots!!

No, the fans are the idiots!

            No you’re ALL idiots.

Twilight stinks,Kristen is a blank sheet of paper,Robert needs a shower,Stephanie is just some girl who types on a computer all day who got lucky.
Want some good literature? Read how to kill a mocking bird or the Narnia series.
Oh and PS,I’m twelve,I write..yeah I think I SHOULD’VE gotten my books to be into a movie..Robert pattinson is in them…AS THE HUMAN EQUIVALENT TO OSCAR THE GROUCH! hee hee
(He lives in a trash can since after everyone realized twilights sucks,he went broke)

      • that_weird_creepy_chik says:

true… so true… what the hell was in her mind?!

      • Lar says:

No. He’s playing an idiot in a film directed by an idiot based on a book written by an idiot.

    • Eileen says:

Look who’s on the big screen, look who’s not.

    • Kay-tee says:

personally i think robert pattinson is a great actor and not an idiot at all.
and ofcourse he is gonna be in the media thousands of girls adore him! (including me i must say)

and i think people should stop bagging Twilight- i know everyone deserves an opinion but SERIOUSLY! :@ if you wrote a book that people critisized you for, how would you feel?
who cares if the vampires sparkle?
its an interesting twist on the traditional vampire plot lines.
you cant always have the same things written, jeez it would just get boring

      • Alucard is Dracula spelled backwords says:

One cannot put a “twist” on such legendary creatures as the
Nosferatu. There is too much lore, to deviate makes them not vampires.
        DEAL. Twilight=FAIL
        Hellsing=(Bloody)WIN

        • sparkly says:

No, honey…. If I write a book and want it to say that vampires turn into ladybugs with the sunlight… then that’s MY problem, MY book….
It’s not like someone has the copyright of how a ‘vampire’ should be….

          • anonymous says:

Then that doesn’t make them vampires at all. That makes them creatures that spasm into ladybirds when they’re exposed to raised UV levels.

    • Rebecca says:

What does that have to do with anything? Looks don’t equal talent… far from it in fact.

Also I’d like to comment on the “jealous” thing. No, I am not jealous. I just don’t like her books. I also don’t like the fact that she claims Twilight is better than Romeo & Juliet or The Princess Bride, and although everyone is entitled to their own opinions, that’s just… wrong…

      • Stardrake says:

It might helpif you thught of him as this year’s Orlando Bloom–he’s got the teen set all ga-ga about him.

      • Coe Coe!! says:

Yeah… the book wsnt dat good. tha movie is kinda beter….. and i like tha movie because dt i can c Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson in tha movie…!!

        • Grimm13 says:

          Try learning to spell, please.

Also, Twilight is really not all that amazing in any respect. You want a good vampire romance? Interview with the vampire.

          • Frankie says:

Interview with a vampire, ah yes. Anne Rince does some excellent work with what she has to work with. She does an excellent job anyway.

Did everyone know that Edward ranked number four in sexiest vampire of all time? Guess who ranked first? Lestat.

  4. Bo says:

Great book, why ruin it with a stupid movie. What a waste of time and money!

  5. AlwaysHungary says:

Bof da movie and da book suk! My English teach read da entyre series and sayd dat not only was the book written by a 5 year old, but it was just stooopid in general. She also said that from an English teacher’s standpoint, there were so many structural errors in it, it was ridonkulous. Mormons shouldn’t write about their secret, forbidden fantasies and then claim it a novel. Stephanie Meyers drives da FAILboat!!! Bwahahaha!

  6. Korin says:

He’s probably just gone into shock from the number of fangirls who showed up to see the Twilight drivel… Apparently he had no idea it was famous x]

  7. BAW says:

He’s an actor who plays a teenage vampire in some new movie. A ripoff of both Buffy and Lost Boys, from what I hear. He previously played Cedric Diggory in HP/GOF.

He’s a nice, good-looking young Brit with some talent who really hasn’t done anything to deserve the bashing he’s getting here. It isn’t his fault that genetics has given him a handsome face.

  8. V says:

The perfect caption, in my opinion. :]

  9. rachel says:

dude Robert Pattison is sexy just the way he is! :-D ….no, im not an obsessed, crazy fangirl but Im still a fan. :-)

  10. I’ll be on the toilet, lamenting how pointless, boring and a waste of my time this post was.

  11. nearlynormalized says:

Mormons, shmormons, start the church of URINE–piss on it all

  12. cie2912 says:

Never read the book series but I went to watch the movie. Let me tell you it was two hours of waste of money. Sorry to say that twilight gives vampire movies a bad name. If you like a teen love story with little action and vampires playing baseball then this movie is for you on the other hand if you are looking for a vampire movie that stays true to the genre then save your 8 dollars and go watch something else.

    • toasti says:

this is why idiots who don’t know anything about the film OR the book shouldn’t go see this movie. Try doing some research before “wasting your money,” if you read a little info about the book you’d know this was not your typical vampire story.

As for this caption, I think it’s perfect, and as for Robert Pattinson and the Twilight series, they’re pretty perfect too.

Anyone who says differently can shove it. You can’t say there’s something out there that you don’t love just as much. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, they’re NOT entitled to stating those opinions as facts, and making every Twilight fan out to be some crazed teenage girl with a crush.

      • Death by Taco says:

Even if you read the book, the movie was still crap and the story was still crap. It had the *tiniest* hint of a plot, but that vanished at the end. I wasted my money on the books, too. I own all four. *facepalm*

The thing you Twilighters need to understand is that NOTHING IS PERFECT. Your boyfriend is not/will not be perfect. Your life isn’t and will not ever be perfect. YOU are not, nor will you ever be perfect!

  13. hell hath no fury says:

Ignore all hissy-fit comments above. Even if you didn’t know this guy from Adam, the caption fits perfectly. *waits for non-religious nuts to hijack post because I referred to Adam*

    • Lucky says:

OMG ADAM! WTF HOW DARE YOU BRING UP RELIGION!!!111one

Sorry…you were waiting for it and no one else was doing it, so…you’re welcome.

  14. Stella says:

I think he is perfection personified, even if the movie did suck….

  15. AlwaysHungarylrigth says:

Alright, alright! I surrender! I know when I’ve been deafeated. Still, it is a funny pic! = D

  16. Sandra says:

    EDWARD GOES GOSSIPGIRL :D
(Someone by his right side): Hey you edward did you hear about that chic over there?

    Edward: NO! WHERE??

  17. Cheshire says:

I’m just tired of everyone assuming that because someone reads Twilight and enjoys it that they’re automatically a retarded tween fangirl. I agree that Stephanie Meyer has room to grow as an author, but the romance of the series is what draws me, and many others as well. Nothing wrong with trying to believe there are real Prince Charmings out there. And Robert Pattinson is a good actor, regardless of what movies he acts in. Don’t hate on him just because you dislike Twilight (which you’ve probably never even read- half the people that have insulted it have flat out told me they refuse to read it or they only skimmed through it). Edward is a flawed character for a few reasons, but Pattinson made him lovable.

    • Leona says:

Agreed with you. I’m not an obsessed teeny but I enjoyed the books and the movie. I couldn’t care less about whose hot and whose not and oh my god obsessions with Rob Pattinson, frankly if I was going to I’d rather do Nikki Reed….
Acting wise I have to be honest, I like Robs music better, he should stick with that more. =D

    • sparkly says:

      I agree with u! U know why? because I was a Twilight hater….
I refused to read the books or watch the movie, until one day a friend just made me watch the movie, lol (and just because she bought the tickets).
I just ended up reading the books…

People just can’t say “I DON’T LIKE THIS”, if they haven’t even tried to like it…

    • Rebecca says:

I agree that not all twilight fans are idiots, I just don’t like the books!
Some of my friends like twilight and are far from idiots, heck, my fiance likes twilight, and he’s not an idiot either!

  18. Kelsey says:

*sigh* I love these kinds of captions on celebrities I ADORE, so I’ll comment on that, shall I? The face is just perfect for that caption, Stef. Well done :)

    • Aerliss says:

I don’t adore this guy. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie with him in. He isn’t all that attractive in my eyes, just another pretty boy. However, after reading all the hilarity above I just wanted to add to this… I generally prefer the silly captions about celebrities I like.

  19. twilightreader18 says:

people just need to get over themselves.obviously, they have not read the book,
and are obviously fans of some hannah montana crap. i personally think that they do not need to give all this crap about stephanie meyer and robert patterson.
i agree that twilight rocks, and stephanie meyer and robert patterson, and all the
    other actors/actresses are excellent.

    • Rebecca says:

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I have read the books, I don’t listen to Hannah Montana, and I don’t like the books. And what does Hannah Montana have to do with this anyway?

    • Death by Taco says:

Okay. You are…SO incredibly stupid. First of all, I HAVE read the books. All four. Plus the Host and half of Midnight Sun, trying to understand where all the hype was from and scavenging for Stephenie Meyer’s writing talent, which she must hide very carefully, because no one can find it. And it most certainly does NOT “rock”. It is poorly written and cliche Seconldly, in reality, Twilight’s fans are the ones who love Hannah Montana. Not all of them do, but they’re the closest to that sad percentage of the population. Thirdly, “all the
other actors/actresses are excellent.” FALSE. Kristen Stewart cannot act to save her life. Robert Pattinson was *okay* in Harry Potter [GoF], but in Twilight, he looked like he needed a hug or a laxative or something. And, fourthly, his name is Robert PATTINSON. If you’re going to go around defending him, at least spell his name right.

      • XThatoneBunnyX says:

I agree with Death by Taco (love the name by the way), First thing is that fact of doing your reading or research on the person. The second thing make sure you can spell your words or ‘At Least attempt’ to spell. Third of all make sure that you ‘CAN’ write like you know what the Hell you are writing mind because I did not understand the writing you just typed there, Person twilightreader18.
AND what is Sam Frances does Hannah ‘that one chick that I do not like’ Montana have to do with this? Some readers of Twilight (and the series) may listen to Ms. Montana but then you have some who don’t.

  20. dylan says:

OMG the guy has a fish face! He´s ugly as hell. He has also the dumbest fans ever. I can´t stand them anymore, both this piece of english wood called Pattinson and his stupid tweens…

  21. Michelle says:

I read the whole series, and it was interesting.. AT FIRST. Meyer’s style gets old incredibly fast if you hold any kind of intellectual prowess at ALL inside your hollow little head. The overuse of the words “chagrin” and “dazzling” make me cringe and have the overwhelming urge to punt small children. The movie was complete and utter fail. Forget the fact that Pattinson looks horribly awkward trying to act and Bella was just beaver teeth with eyes, the plot was so rushed that it nearly made my head spin and I can only thank the Gods above us that New Moon is going to have a new director. I’m not BASHING the movie, series, or Meyer. I’m stating my opinion. The series’ popularity is based immensily on media hype and vampire-obsessed tween sluts. Pretty much nothing else is earning Meyer the millions that she doesn’t deserve. Basically, the book would be mentally stimulating to an 8 year old, the movie should be used for government-issud torture, and as for Meyer… she should just stick to be an uppity, overly-religious prude. The end.

  22. May says:

I like Twilight, but I however am able to recognize that it has flaws. I don’t like Edward at all but I have nothing against Robert Pattinson. The movie was horrible, but he did what he had to do, he was being payed to act and he did so and in my opnion he did it well. Some people like him, some don’t, in my opnion build a bridge and get over it, people have different point of views and we must respect them all

  23. sarah says:

    hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  24. kay-fitz says:

There’s nothing wrong with the Twilight Saga. The book series. I thought they were fantastically written. If you just don’t have the time to read them or your brain can’t handle reading anything that exceeds the limit of 250 words, then, I’m sorry. You don’t know what you’re missing out on. I admit, the movie sucked. It was corny, and frankly, I don’t like Catherine Hardwickes work. But, that’s just my opinion, and everyone has a right to their own opinion. But we still have the right to think your opinion is stupid.

  25. chad says:

hey asshats twilight rox so stfu

  26. Tori says:

U don’t know how unbeleivably funny it is 2 see twilight haters and Twilight luvers in a fight about this…LOL..ROFL…I am stating my opinion when i say this and i don’t expect 2 b cussed out b cuz this is a free country and i have the right 2 state my opinion….I personally am a die hard twilight fan and i love robert pattinson and edward and taylor..i think they ar all hot and i am team edward…once again plz don’t leave nasty comments and cuss me out 4 stating my opinion..thx!!!!!!!

  27. Aloha says:

First off, if it wasn’t for the hair style the poor guy has to have, I would think he is symmetrically perfect. That’s my way of saying someone is…. is… handsome, although not in the I’d-like-to-grab-and-smooch-him way.

The thing is, most of you Twilight lovers have to understand is that people like me grew up on the old horror stories about vampires. I grew up with Dracula, BTVS, Angel, and Hellsing. The vampires are evil, and as such they fear the sun light. Good vs. Evil – Light Vs. Dark.

    I’m sure that alot of people would have to agree that the mere notion of a shiny vampire is preposterous because of the decades of established lore for the vampire character. In order for someone to actually enjoy any part of the series, they need to meet this criteria, or portions thereof;

    Romantic/Enjoys Romance Stories
    Enjoys Vampire Romance Stories
Understand and can tolerate a Mary Sue

If you can meet 2 out of 3, you are good to go.

The reason I personally cannot stand the series (yes, I did watch the movie and read the first book, I do not judge blindly) it is to much like a yearning pre-pubescent Mary Sue teen wrote a book about how she wishes she could fall in love with a noble vampire with the bad boy attitude but can be tamed.

I hate romance with a obscene passion, and I feel that I will only ever be able to manage a platonic relationship with anyone. These are of course my own opinions and feelings that directly pertain to me. These do not specifically apply to anyone else, so don’t get on your high horse about something.

  28. Laeni says:

Hilarious caption. On the actor part regarding Twilight, he is just not was in my head when I read the book, Emmet however was pretty down pact from imagination xD anywhos -goes to read more of creators lolz-

He’s not an idiot. He’s English, ergo, he’s not an idiot.

    • Death by Taco says:

Erm…Russel Brand. Ergo, there are stupid British people.

For those who want to argue, do you know how he got fired from MTV?

  32. Some Guy says:

I don’t care who he plays, or what role in whatever movie he may be in. I problem is the sudden hype about Twilight, I liked Twilight before it was cool, and now; everyone likes it due to the ^^ him.

  33. wtf?seriously? says:

What I don’t get is that no one even really read the book until the movie came out.

    • personl says:

I read the books WAY befor It was a movie I think that they are VERY good but the movies SUCK! They are NOT like the book.

  34. lisa says:

    yowza he is hot.

  35. haw! says:

Anyone remember back when Rob and Kristen were both saying they didn’t actually LIKE twilight?

  36. Death by Taco says:

One thing I have to say about Twilight fangirls is that at least it’s safe to say they’ll never reproduce.

  37. Giveupalready says:

wow you guys should really just stop this bull and like go back to you blogs

  38. teh cuteness says:

I THINK ALL OF YOU ARE WANKERS. WHY DON’T YOU ALL GROW, ACCEPT EACH OTHERS OPINIONS ON THE FILM AND STORIES, AND READ A REAL KICK A$# BOOK LIKE THE LORD OF THE RINGS. SEE? PROBLEM SOLVED. NOW THAT THE NERD HAS SUBMITTED A BOOK THAT ACTUALLY GIVES PEOPLE ASTRONOMICALLY LARGE BRAIN FARTS, GET HAPPY, AND GET OFF OF EACH OTHERS BACKS!

  39. Me says:

I just would like every one to realize stephanie meyer is morman and puts her beliefs in the book for example edward has been “good” (WTF) all his life so he gets a prize (bella (WTF)) in return and thats part of the reason i hate twilight i do not like to have her beliefs forced upon me

  40. XThatoneBunnyX says:

I’m not here to Bash the Brit Robert P. (the new Laxative commercial Guy!) But I have ‘TRIED’ reading the books and could NOT get in it to the said ‘story line’ but for the most part the REAL reason of why I would watch the movies of ‘Twilight’ is for the eye candy of Jacob Black ……..Er I mean Taylor Lautner (mind you he is around my age!) Robert has acting abilities or have done so to his best ‘abilities’ I didn’t mind him playing as Cedric. I just couldn’t really see him as Edward Cullen of the Twilight Series.
ANY Twifans or Twi-haters please don’t ‘HATE’ me for saying a simple opinion that I had for a while now.

  41. Chloe says:

    accurate. haha

  42. EmO_gUy_LoVeS_tHe_BoOkS says:

just to stir it up a bit more:
Twilight is obviously too much for all of you linguisticly challenged haters to comprehend. Don’t bash the book. The movie did not do it justice. If you can’t say or aren’t willing to say anything good about a beloved book series, I suggest you keep your pie-holes shut, unless you want to end up on many hitlists. Anyone who has already spewed incoherent drivel hating on the Twilight Saga are at the top of mine.

    Have a nice day

Does this guy even OWN a brush? Or a comb? Or a shower? Or a puddle of water? Anything to un- grease his hair?

  45. Caitlin says:

    LOL!!!!!!!!

  46. Just_A_Girl says:

WHY DO PEOPLE FIGHT OVER THIS?!? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I’m not going to state mine, but I am wondering WHY. Some people like Twilight and some people don’t, end of discussion. Believe what you believe, but don’t attack other people for believing what they believe. Its wrong. Its also wrong for people who don’t like Twilight to call all people who do Twitards. Just like its wrong for people who do like Twilight to reply back with insults and fan the fire even more. To all the haters and lovers I only have one thing to say JUST DON’T!

  47. twilight sucks says:

seriously the whole twilight thing is retarded why wuold anyone write such a useless peice of trash and i should know cause im a writer

    • Editor says:

Seriously, the whole Twilight thing is retarded. Why would anyone write such a useless piece of trash? I should know because I’m a writer.

  48. Lana says:

Lmao, yeah, you sure do write like a writer.

  49. Bububú says:

You make me LOL guys… :D

  50. Anonymous says:

HA! I honestly think that EVERYONE who tries to go off and write a negative statement about these pictures (or their captions) is a total idiot! Yes, there are going to be things that you may or may not like, yes, there are some pretty crude (albeit funny) jokes, but NO just because you want to sound dignified and as if you know better than everyone else does NOT give you the right to spoil everyone’s fun. I mean come on! It’s just a joke! Laugh it off! :)

  51. analeigh says:

i dont get it but lol :)

  52. solo piano says:

NICELY CAPTIONED. THIS MAN IS TOO UPTIGHT.

  53. Ashlie says:

Oddly enough, the more I read about people hating Robert, the more I see that they are really fans since, you know, you keep coming back to see the picture

  54. eyeh8twilight says:

Robert Pattinson is a waste of an actor. He can’t act well. He does have some talent, because it’s not like he’s standing there just staring at the camera or acting like he’s in a high-school play, he can play a character and act professional, but he’s not very good at it. He should just LEAVE HOLLYWOOD after Twilight’s done, because he’ll have no career. Critics do not like his work. They give every single movie he’s in a bad review (except HP), they point out that he’s a bad actor, he won’t get jobs if he doesn’t get good reviews. It doesn’t matter how many fangirls think he’s hot, he just doesn’t bring in the cash at the movies. He’s made 2 movies that have gone to the big screen since Twilight, and both have made no more than $50 million-COMBINED.

If he continues to stay in Hollywood, he’s just going to keep being made fun of. He’s the biggest joke in Hollywood right now (compared to most of the actors out there-excluding reality stars, sociallites, those people, I’m just talking professional actors). No matter what role he plays, he’ll have the ghost of Edward Cullen right behind him.

The trio don’t have futures in Hollywood. Pattinson gets made fun of the most because he is the worst actor. Taylor Lautner-who knows? He’s not a good actor, I mean, every single time he speaks in Twilight he clamps down on his teeth and talks through them like he’s mad. Kristen Stewart’s lack of emotion sort of masks the fact that she’s not a terrific actress. I mean, if you can’t see emotion, you can’t tell whether she’s portraying the emotion well or really badly.

Either way, I can’t wait until 2010 is OVER AND DONE WITH! We don’t have to see videos of them, pictures of them, stupid fangirls swooning over a pile of grease and an 18 year old on steroids anymore. It’s time Hollywood showed the old Hollywood of way back when-when Hollywood was full of brilliant talent, not reality stars and crappy actors who are praised for doing practically nothing.

  55. eyeh8twilight says:

*I should have written, “I can’t wait until 2012 is over”, not 2010.

The statement I wrote above is just plain and simple. If you can’t bring in the money, if you can’t act and if critics don’t like you, then you can’t possibly have a thriving career as an actor.

  56. eyeh8twilight says:

I typed so fast, I made another mistake. The end of the last paragraph should have read something like, it’s time to show the old Hollywood some respect. They built up a wonderful institution that brings us laughter, sadness and entertainment, and now look at what it’s become… It’s sad.

  57. carol says:

once again well written post and i completely agree with you a-hole
