Reeves is a good actor and all, but as Klaatu? I’m still not over that. The very concept of Keeanu Reeves as Klaatu is just so wrong.

What’s funny is that I guess it’s karma. I had a friend, Graham, who was upset that Keeanu Reeves got cast as Constantine. Since I’m not a fan of comic books, I didn’t think much about it. But I do like classic sci-fi and The Day the Earth Stood Still is one of best made in that era. So now I’m the one whose going “Keeanu f**king Reeves as Klaatu?!” when I laughed at “Keeanu f**king Reeves as Constantine?!”
