Who are they?
They are David Tennant, Catherine Tate otherwise known as The Doctor and his companion Donna. They are from the British Scifi show Doctor Who. I highly recommend it by the way, it’s a great show.

This should actually be known by many people as decimalisation only came in, in roughly 1971 (although pounds were in continual use right up until 2007/2008 when they were rejected by the EU) When I did Maths we not only did Pounds and Pence, we did Imperial Measurements (Pounds and Inches as well. It was in the last section of our maths book)
No, they talk too much to be Mulder and Scully. Plus I can’t see Scully calling Mulder Alien Boi every five seconds.
No, Scully spent far too much shouting “Mulder!” to actually call him by some snarky nickname like that.
Even if this caption was terrible, I just get happy to see the Doctor on here. It’s just an added bonus that the caption totally works. But now I miss Donna

Tom Baker and then Christopher Eccleston.
No one ever gives Christopher Eccleston accolades. I thought he was a brilliant Doctor. He had that smile….and an amazing presence. He was actually the first Doctor I ever saw (thanks to the Sci Fi channel) and I kind of wished he would have stayed around longer than one season. Tennant is also a very good Doctor but for some reason, even though he was a bit cheekier, was missing something that Eccleston had. Not saying I didn’t like him, I do enjoy Mr. Tennant, and he is a rather good looking fellow, would love to see him do theater work.

I don’t know…I really am just not crazy about Eccleston’s acting style. I didn’t like him much in Heroes or 28 Days Later, either. Maybe it was the role, but I enjoyed Tenant’s facial expressions much more, and his general energy level. Just personal preference.
That said, I started watching, really, during Tenant’s first season, so 10 is probably “My Doctor.” I’ve gone back & watched the first new season, as much of the old stuff as I can lay hands on and read all my hubby’s Doctor Who books (he’s been a fan for many years), and I enjoy most of it. I will miss 10, but can’t wait to see what Moffat does with the show.
We found the very first episode on Youtube recently–amazed that the show went anywhere at all from there, LOL!
Agreed. Right next to Tom Baker. Tom Baker had the awesome voice, David Tennant had the looks. Doctor Who just won’t be as fun without David to fangirl over. =(

Actually Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker were my Doctors. I think though that I probably prefered Tom Baker. I think things started to break down for Doctor Who when Colin Baker took over (although I loved Attack of the Cybermen.) I hated Mel Bush as an assistant (She was along the same lines as Adric and Freema “I can’t act for Toffee” Agreyman.) Although Sylvester McCoy did get a better assistant in Ace (and better looking too

There is a vague resembalence (Christ, I can’t spell that word…) between this doctor and Fox Mulder in the eyes and the build of the face. Donna’s resembalance to Dana Scully is less vague, the hairstyles are similar.
