It’s entertainment. A fakery. So it’s not really a “style”. They do it for TV.
If they are wearing this in front of a camera, it must be their idea of “style”. So the caption still stands.
Actually it’s more of a uniform/costume they have to wear because the old guys who run WWE think that this is cool… There suppose to be steriotypical ‘rappers” that the WWE tried to market on. It failed.
Accually, they are very good wrestlers. They arent “rappers” and they arent trying to be. The only wrestler who is trying (and failing) at rap is John Cena

Actually, if you do your research on this WWE tag team, you’d see that their ‘gimmick’ is to make fun of racial stereotypes. Thus, dressing like that is done on purpose and supposed to be dumb. Plus, they do have that money, money, yeah yeah…

Also they’re a comedy act. Basically they’re a homage of the old In Living Color sketch “Homeboy Shopping Network” where the two hood rats are selling stuff they just stole cheaply.
So yeah, I admit JTG models himself a bit after Nelly with the gold tooth and the clothing but yeah it’s just a couple of fictional characters from a wrestling program.
