actually edward was pretty creepy and stalkerish in the books too. It was ust easier to ignore in the book. sneaking into Bella’s room at night is pretty creepy in my opinion.

Her personality DOES leave something to be desired… she never smiled in the movie, either. Even in interviews she usually acts like shes not even interested. I think her acting skills are ok though.
She was supposed to the depressed girl with no friends in the movie, that’s why she was never smiling. She’s an incredible actress…and amazing Bella and seriously she did very well with the character.
Bella is happy in the STORY, but the movie is gay and should die in hell. And Roert Pattinson is a sucky actor and has a suck american accent.
No, I disagree. The movie would have been OK if they had different actors. Kristen LOOKS the part, alright, but she didn’t do that great of a job portraying Bella. She is a good actress, this just wasn’t her best. The script didn’t help AT ALL, though.

Pattinson’s character’s behavior pretty much follows the book, by all accounts, so it should be blamed (if blame there be) on the author and the screenwriters.
Everything I’ve heard indicates that he’s a very nice young man, and the fact that he’s so good looking is more his parents’ fault than his. He doesn’t deserve the drubbing he’s taking on this and other blogs.
I think that most of the hostility is from guys who are envious of the attention he’s getting from the Fair Sex.
the hostility comes from him being too metrosexual for a homophobic world such as our own. it always happens with male models. more guys are forever labelled as gay because they look good.

finally! another girl with common sense! my daughter read this and said, “mom ya gotta read this book, it’s horrible!” it sat in a pile of books for a year and when i read it, i couldn’t believe my eyes, YUK! you aren’t missing a thing, believe me!
if you do ever read it, go into it with an open mind. most of the crap people go on about didn´t even happen in the book. and believe me, not everyone who likes the book ends up like one of those high school nutjobs.

the majority of complaints i get about the book are things that never even happened, like bella attempting suicide, edward being abusive, edward keeping her away from her anyone else, jacob becoming sexually attracted to an infant, and the cullens not drinking blood. all wrong! obviously people can´t be bothered to read about something before they agree with all the crap the internet tells them.

And Jacob sometimes. that’s only cuz it’s nice to escape reality ever now and then. Cuz my life really sucks sometimes. so it’s nice to go away and daydream.
