Good God, the joke has nothing to do with the movie, it has to do with the fact that the US government has authorized almost $9 trillion it doesn’t have to be given to banks, automakers, etc…who squandered the last batch of money they were trusted with but somehow will do better this time.

The problem is that the common citizen don’t have lobbyists offering politicians hundreds of thousands of dollars like Big Businesses. Politicians don’t work for the common man (or woman), they work for the corporations funding their campaigns, etc. “Big Business” pays to get them in office, then the politician motions/votes for laws that help “Big Business;” legislation that will lower costs or taxes (none of which reach the consumer), or a deal that will just hand them oodles of cash from wherever they are pulling money out of this time. The entire system is BS.
