Are you an idiot? If you look at pictures over the years you can very clearly see how his nose goes from wide and flat, to “caucasian” but still good looking, to so narrow he was having trouble breathing, all the way to having the tip of his nose actually die and rot off. In later years he had to wear putty to form the tip of his nose.
Then there’s the chin. You can see the progression of many, many surgeries in the ways it changes shape and size.
The skin, whether due to a medical condition or skin lightening, is the least of his problems.
Actually, he put the cleft in his chin and that’s it on the chin. Obviously you don’t care, it’s not like you’re going to research, but the photos of him as a child CLEARLY show he always had the pronounced chin, chiseled jawline, and high cheekbones. Always. The coroner also confirmed he had vitiligo. Sure, the last years of his life he did what all aging celebrities do; eye job, lift, etc. But he never altered his eyes or the rest of his face besides the nose. Just the facts.
The man had vitiligo. He didn’t just don’t go from black to white completely, he became paler over time. The disease leaves light patches on your skin. Think about it, he was black, would U want to walk around looking like a Dalmatian? If it’s mild, u could probably use makeup to even it out. The disease progresses over time. You can do a treatment, and make the rest of your body lighter. When it progresses, the patches become more lighter. He had vitiligo since somewhere in the 80′s-09. He kept on doing pigmentation, cause the patches got lighter. That’s how his skin is… u know

the patches dont get lighter over time, they get bigger. The patches will be completely free of pigment like albino skin and most sufferers will either wear their natural color or white. So that makes me wonder…. did michael just use the prescription meds that vitiligo suffers use. I mean, he did use propofol to sleep…
Yes, he had vitilago. It causes psychological problems as well. Think about it…Michael had very strong African-American features and, IMO, the surguries compensated for the lightening of the skin. Also, don’t forget that his father repeatedly made fun of him, especially his nose, so much so he was obsessed about it. However, during his Dangerous Tour days, he was beautiful. So, I don’t know what would have pushed him to keep changing after that era.
For those who make fun of his looks, tell me you were NEVER made fun of (especially as a child) and your feelings didn’t get hurt. Typically, insecure people make fun of other people to make themselves feel better, don’t you think?

He has a good point, though. Society uses “mental issues” as an excuse for everything these days. Just because a behavior is due to a “mental issue” does not mean it should be de-stigmatized.

I don’t think it’s fair, becasue anyone can act crazy and say that they’re mind was telling them to do it. I don’t think they should be able to get away with it because they have mental problems. If they have mental problems, then they should get help. They should’nt get of the hook like that. It just shows that the society these days are too gullible. Michael Jackson had plenty of money for his near-daily plastic surgeries and skin bleaching (don’t give me that BS about him having a “skin condition”).
Actually, he DOES have a skin disease. some of his skin stopped producing pigment, causing splotches of white to appear o some ares of his skin (it looked whiteish; like scar tissue), and he chose to bleach the other areas of skin. Don’t get me wrong- I don’t like him, but get your facts straight.

The disease is called “vitiligo” and it is real – and much more noticable on black people. My husband and one of my dad’s cousins has it.
He went paler over time. If he had Vitiligo it would go stark white, not just lighter over time.
That’s a lame excuse, if he had Vitiligo his skin would have been white directly after his first plastic surgery, not degrade over time becoming paler. I have that same skin disorder so I know what I am talking about. Skin doesn’t get lighter, it just goes white right off the bat.

Are you an idiot? His makeup artist had to blend the black over the white, then made the shade lighter and lighter, when more of his body became white. He wore layers of makeup every day. You can’t compare it to yourself unless you had done the same thing.
