I read this whole story about how her now dead ex husband (God rest his soul) was getting bored with her so she decided that she would make herself look like one of the jungle cats he collected and loved. He said in the deposition for their divorce that she had the attitude that faces could be redone like houses, and that he didnt even recognize her anymore. She was beautiful before… *shudder*

Like you I blame the so called professionals. She doesn’t have a way to support them. It’s going to be my good tax dollars and yours, if you live in the US that is. She hired a spokesperson (with what money) and they said that she is very happy and looks at this as an opportunity from God. Would God really do that to us?
if it was really from god it wouldnt have taken IF to get her pregnant. her whole case is BS and she makes the case for me about having to have a license before you get pregnant and having to pass a parenting class before accepting a child into your care.

I feel so sorry for her, that she did this to herself for a man, and that she now claims to believe in her artificial feline beauty. She needs a good surgeon that can set her face back to the way it was, and a good therapist to give her the tools to love herself the way she is. Poor woman.

Umm guys it is called BDD Body dysmorphic disorder, it is a real medical condition she is unhappy with the way she looks, everyone else on the planet may think she is gorgeous and she will still see herself as ugly. It is a horrible disease. Her plastic surgeons don’t say no to her because if they do she will end up resorting to a back street plastic surgeon to do the work and end up dying from post op infections or having it so botched she would probably end up killing herself. The surgeons saying yes to her, eh it at least makes sure it isn’t some quack doing the surgery with a rusty knife in an abandoned warehouse.
While it is considered a mental illness, and frequently compared to eating disorders such as anorexia [in the sense of being unhappy with ones appearance and going to great lengths to change it], the DOCTORS are willing to perform a great deal of surgery upon her. The family of which she married into is one of the [not not the top] biggest art dealers in the world, and is obviously very wealthy. So I find it more disturbing that doctor’s will take the money and perform these extensive surgeries on her rather then taking that money and getting her sessions with a psychiatrist,and find out if she does indeed suffer from BDD. Or she’s just a bored rich lady.
Her surgery wasn’t botched…she’s had too many. She’s trying to turn herself into something she’s not and apparently her doctors can’t say no to the money.
I wasn’t referring to her surgery being botched. I meant that these doctors willingly performed surgery on her in a completely unethical procedure simply for the sake of taking the money.
Rationalization fail – A doctor must honor his own Hippocratic oath; he doesn’t do that by performing an unethical procedure to prevent a patient from going to someone worse. That is, he isn’t responsible for the patient’s seeking a bad doctor because he (the ethical doctor) refuses to do harmful work.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the world really worked that way? Everyone was honest and honored their word . . .
In which case her doctors should have institutionalised her. If there is evidence she may self harm (i.e. her face), then she needs to be protected from herself. If not institutionalisation, then at least regular appointments with a psychologist.

She doesn’t look like a cat yet, but she does look an awful lot like the character Vincent from Beauty and the Beast.

That was my first impression as well.
Y’ know, it might be sad and/or shocking to us, but if this lady really wants to look like that and is happy about it and can afford it, then why not?

Well two people taking a dump on each other on camera aren’t hurting anybody either but we still reserve the right to go WTF over it. Same deal really. She wants to buy drastic body altering surgery and we will react with at least a mild shock.

I wish you hadn’t used that particular analogy, because now you have me trying to figure out how two people could simultaneously excrete solid waste on each other. (That’s ok, though. Don’t tell me.)
I’d argue that she does need help, she’s trying to become something she isn’t, and in the process, quite possibly seriously hurting herself. It sounds like she has a mental illness, and no amount of surgery is going to fix that problem, it’s like chopping down a tree trying to find the gold inside the tree, no matter how hard you try, that’s just not going to work.
Okay, two points:
1) She should change her name to Jocelyn Wildebeest; and
2) At least Michael Jackson has the decency to cover his sh*t up.
