I liked most of his work that I’ve seen; I just don’t see what’s wrong with making jokes involving dea people, particularly when you’re making jokes regarding a film role or their lifestyle rather than the manner of their death.

Grammar fail. It’s fine to end a sentence with a preposition. That rule was based on a false premise and more often than not makes a sentence less comprehensible, rather than more so.
