        From what I understand they very rarely touch the engines – only if they are all too bad. So the cars will usually be the same hunk of junk under the hood. And probably even more dangerous in traffic due to all the distractions they put in :)

        But I haven’t seen the show in years; maybe they have a bigger budget now and can tinker a bit more.

          i actually saw one episode where they completely installed a new engine. it was a decent piece of hardware, too, not just some run-of-the-mill thing.

              i have thought about buying a junker old muscle car and just HOPING that someone would set me up for overhaulin’.
              i would be able to die a happy woman if chip foose re-did a car of mine to be the flippin’ sweet car it should be.
