    FARCED!
    And Best Caption Evar.

  2. DaYaoiFan says:

I wish I had her boobs.

  3. IvanTheMildlyAnnoying says:

Mmmm. Gimme a woman with CURVES. You can keep your little boy-type stick figure models. *insert motorboat sounds here*

  4. Dave says:

Nothing wrong with being curvy, nothing wrong with being not curvy. A woman is a woman; the important part is what’s between her ears.

  5. DaYaoiFan says:

Get yourself to the butterfly lounge

  6. Man says:

There’s a huge difference between “fat” and “curvy,” and the internet has once again demonstrated that it doesn’t know the difference.

  7. rose says:

props to pierce. i hope this serves as an example for people… i don’t have much room to talk only being a size 5-7 but i used to be a lot thinner than i am now and i’ve struggled with it… i’m lovin’ my curves now though. and so does my man :]

    • princessmu says:

I’m a size 8-10 and I’m 5 ft tall and I love it. My Bf says he loves my body. I used to be a size 2. I was a smoker and i think that kept me thin. back then I was always tired and a bit grumpy. now i feel sexy and i’m proud of my new look. Spending all that money on new clothes was a bit of a pinch tho. Also – Pierce is HOT!!!!!!

  8. Johnny's girl says:

    Ooooooo, purty dress.

  9. kittybear says:

    Man, you’re a pig.

  10. grimey says:

There’s nothing wrong with skinny either though. Some people look good skinny. Some people look good not so skinny. It takes all types.

  11. Blarg says:

British culture has a drastically different perception of what is attractive in a woman’s body. As such, he probably looks at our women and isn’t attracted to the skinny models, much like those who like the skinny, American form of model might look at this woman and not be attracted. It’s largely due in part to where were raised and what we’re brought up to think is attractive. Not entirely, but largely.

    • more cowbell says:

but this gal used to be skinny.. when she was on Hard Copy or Inside Edition or whatever tv rag show she used to be on. What happened to her? seriously, she was a skinny gal, which is required to be on TV as a pseudo journalist…

    • Lucy says:

Most of the British women who come to mind (Cat Zeta-Jones, Kate Winslet, Kiera Knightley, Emma Watson, the Spice Girls, Leona Lewis, Princess Diana) are reasonably svelte. Are you sure you aren’t drawing to any hasty conclusions? Considering half as many women in Great Britain than in the United States (32% and 61%, respectively) are overweight, I would think larger women are less likely to be as accepted in British society than in American society.

      • Kitty says:

I’ve always loved Kate Winslet’s figure, even as she goes up and down in weight. But Keira Knightley is very thin (http://stardietsecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/keira-knightley-bikini-photo.jpg)

      • hypatia says:

That is really hard to compare because not only have you listed women who vary quite a bit in their body type but they have also changed considerable over time. Knightley is skinny skinny skinny and Zeta-Jones is quite a bit larger (although more attractive in my personal view). Just compare Zeta-Jones to Zwellwegger in Chicago, big difference. The Spice Girls are interesting, if you go look at their early videos, they are very average is size and now they have pretty much all slimmed down, some *ahem* Victoria, very dramatically.

Also “overweight” statistics will not be nearly as telling as obesity statistics as they are usually based on the BMI scale rather than an actually body fat percentage. This method is highly inaccurate for those who are tall and those who have muscle mass.

Interestingly the difference between obesity rates in both countries are much closer 25% for Britain vs. 32% for the USA.

    • Not blind says:

      “British culture has”

British culture has nothing to do with this picture given that she’s American and he’s Irish…

  12. Saint says:

personally, I like curves. I’ve dated all across the board, skinny, curvy, short, tall, and I’ve found that I’m often more attracted to a woman with some curves, and hips. I dunno, I think Freddie Mercury and Sir Mix-a-Lot had it right.

Give me a woman that I’m not afraid to snap her spine when I hug her.

And she has to be able to carry on a conversation without mentioning pop/movie/soap stars. Vapidity (sp?) comes in all forms, and you can keep it in all forms.

  13. C.A. says:

Oh here we go again. Any one who isn’t plus-sized is suddenly a ‘stick’ or a ‘little boy’. And any one who is actually very petite is an OMG TEH SKINNEH ANOREKSIC WHORE AND NOT CURVY!!111!!

I have seen big girls who are shaped like tubes and tiny, wasp-waisted ones that have gorgeous hourglass figures, and vice versa.

    • Gin says:

Considering how many women in Hollywood ARE starving themselves to be thin nowadays, it’s reasonable to be a little suspicious when seeing one who is very thin. It’s also reasonable to feel a little tired of seeing women that thin since the only way to avoid seeing one for even one day is to go into the wilderness somewhere — in other words, avoid civilization entirely.

If you’re thin and don’t like being told that you’re too thin, how do you think women who aren’t bone-thin are made to feel by a society (not just Hollywood) that tells them they’re too fat and discriminates against them in all sorts of ways?

      • crux says:

People who are supposed to be thin tend to look good thin. People who starve themselves to get that way just look like they’re on heroin.

    • strawrose says:

Thank you for saying that. I am naturally petite (with a small bone frame) and I don’t like being told my natural look is “anorexic.” I eat well and exercise. I also know one very sweet woman who is overweight and yet leads a healthy lifestyle. It really depends on the person.

    • Mrs. May says:

People need to stop hating on body types, whether they’re little or big. I’m a big girl but I would never look down on someone for being to thin or to big or for having a certain figure. Every body type is beautiful in it’s own way, especially if you find ways to enhance those unique and beautiful traits. C.A. I’m sure you’re beautiful no matter what body type you have. Don’t let others bring you down just because they’re envious.

  14. KM says:

to the creator THANK YOU! and a big hug

  15. katillac says:

    IN before the trolls!

  16. Kalynriot says:

PEIRCE BROSNAN! PEIRCE BROSNAN HAVE SEX WITH ME!!

  17. not you. says:

Here we go again with the is she fat or not arguments. Does she look fine? yes. But she is fat. To those who say she’s not fat, how big does someone have to get before they’re overweight to you? 300 lbs? 450 lbs? By then, thats obesity. I’d say anyone at least 30 lbs overweight (depending on height and body type) could stand to lose some weight. And she’s way over 30 lbs.

    • naki says:

It’s also very difficult to say what is or isn’t overweight, for example, if i’m in the range I’m supposed to be in for weight, I look unhealthy and in dire need of a pie. Weight isn’t the best deciding factor, as it can be influenced by muscle mass, bone density and just a basic figure. Someone with an hourglass figure can’t really be classsed in the same weight range as someone with a very boyish figure.
And on the other hand, many of the “naturally thin” people who don’t follow a proper diet or excercise have fat around their organs, which is more deadly than some extra fat on your thighs.

      • Bee says:

How about Body Mass Index (BMI)?

        • ladykitteh says:

Actually, as a result of recent research, a person’s BMI is considered of less importance than the percentage of that person’s belly fat. It’s more dangerous to be “apple-shaped” (fat mostly around the middle/belly area) than to be “pear-shaped” (fat mostly around hips/thighs/buttocks/upper legs) since it’s dangerous to have a large percentage of fat around your organs.

        • Lisbeth says:

A healthy weight according to BMI for me would require me to literally starve myself to attain, because I’m a girl who naturally builds muscle. It’s no good to be a “healthy BMI” when my hipbones are sticking out and I look like I’m starving to death.

        • forge says:

BMI is ferchachter. Or meshuggeh; someone who actually speaks Yiddish will have to fill me in on the difference. I’m 5’10″ and my bones are massive; in order to get to my ideal BMI I’d have to starve so badly I’d screw up my blood sugar levels and probably die from that. Lovely huh?

          • Candy says:

Hey, same here. I’m five eleven and to be “healthy BMI” I should be 179 or lower. At 179 bones stick out everywhere. At 190-195 I look sexy.

I think its all very arbitrary, really. When I’m a size 16 I look better than a lot of my size 6,8,10,12 friends because I’m so tall. Plus, all my weight is better distributed: I’ve got a pair of Cs and hips but my waist is small.

      • crux says:

When you give them physicals and endurance tests to check their cardiovascular systems:

About half of normal weight people are considered “unhealthy”.
About two-thirds of fat people are considered “unhealthy”.
And about three-fourths of underweight people are “unhealthy”.

The one-third of overweight people who are healthy have life expectancies just as long as the normal-weight healthy people.

Moral: If you’re fat, get fit, and the fat won’t matter.

        • Harry says:

Actually, five “fourths” of people don’t understand fraction. Seriously, fourths?
Anyway, I’m sick of all these people saying how beautiful fat women are – most just to attempt to take the moral high ground by claiming that they don’t adore a slim girl. Poor form.

          • Harry says:

Argh, fractions dammit. Five fourths of the Harry population don’t understand spelling and grammar.

          • lesigh says:

You mean you’ve never heard someone say “the mug is three-fourths full”? How do you say “3/4″?

I think crux is saying that out of 100 normal people, 50 will be unhealthy, out of 100 overweight people, roughly 67 will be unhealthy, and out of 100 underweight people 75 will be unhealthy. I don’t know about his/her sources for the info, so I can’t vouch for that.

Re: You all are lying about liking fat women: Some people like fat women. Some people like trim women. It’s all a matter of taste. It’s like any other preference. Some people hate slim ladies, some people can’t get enough. Some people are ambivalent.

Who cares?! As long as you’re happy with what you have.

    • Paul says:

Yes, she is a beautiful woman, and she is also too fat, at least in that photograph. There’s a HUGE range between “stick-thin” or “boyish” and the kind of weight that woman has, and when a man points out that she is overweight that does not mean that he only likes stick-thin corpse-women.

I know I’d take her over all of the women who parrot the inane nonsense about “curves” that we’re hearing here. Beauty is only skin-deep, but when you parrot silly slogans and blame men and the media for your problems, you have an ugliness that goes right through to the bone.

  18. hmph says:

I think she looks *fabulous*! Well, up to the her hair and make-up. She looks a little like she stopped at her dress for getting ready. A touch of lipstick and a hair-clip… or better yet… a sleek ‘up’ do would be best, since it is a long rather formal dress.

  19. Lea says:

ok, here it is…she’s overwieght….I’m overweight, a lot of people are overwieght..the idea is to look the best you can with who you are today. and she’s looking good!

  20. wvgirl says:

No one said she isn’t fat, or overweight, they’re just saying it’s good enough for a hottie like Pierce. And I think it’s awesome.

  21. Eric-in-STL says:

What it comes down to, folks, is that a number on a scale doesn’t make you pretty or hot. There are puh-lenty of ugly people at any given weight from 90-lb waifs to 400 lb big boys and big girls. Many girls who are pretty when they’re thin are still pretty when they gain weight (IMHO, Jessica Simpson looks better now, like a human being a little). Many girls are already very pretty with a little meat on their bones. And if they gain or lose a little weight, they still look pretty. There’s so much more to being attractive than how much you weigh. As for me, weight means much less to me than proportion. And I like curves, which is why I wrote that caption and why I give Pierce a big thumbs up.

  22. Sarah says:

Okay, fat /curvy /normal /obese /beautiful /disgusting. Call her what you’d like, but if she’s happy and satisfied with life, then what does it matter? Sure, she’s definitely larger than she was when they got married, but so the heck what? If she wants to loose weight I’m sure she has the support and the tools available to her to begin that journey. If she doesn’t, then she doesn’t; again, that’s her business and it doesn’t effect you at all.

There’s always some celebrity out there that has the nerve to gain weight and everyone always looses their minds over it. If such things as belly fat and cellulite offend you, then I’d suggest stop reading the celebrity mags that love this kind of thing. There are better things in life than this to focus on.

  23. Fidra says:

I’m built just like the lady in the picture, and I turned to my husband showed him the picture and said, “If Pierce Brosnan goes on the market again…you are in BIG trouble…” LOL.

  24. …that isn’t curvy.
    That’s a cow.

  25. yadayadayada says:

    Extra Meat = Extra Boobs

that’s the way aha aha i like it !!

    • Jessi says:

Not to catch you on a technicality, but meat is the muscle of an animal – breasts are made of fat.

Trust me, I’ve got plenty of both, so I would know! ;*)

  26. paul says:

let’s just hope you’re good enough for them…

  27. Kat says:

Eric-in-STL thankyou for the smile! *hugs* Best Caption ever :D

  28. Aimee says:

First off I LOVED this Caption totally awesome job.

Secondly Full Figured women outnumber the Twiggies of the world so it’s about time that the World stopped shoving down “You must be thin to be hot” BS Propaganda down our throats. Yes I am a Full Figured woman always have been tried every diet scheme and ya know what it doesen’t work, I eat veggies and healthy food and take care of a 6 yr old son who keeps me on my toes alot. MEDIA can kiss my butt with thier schpeil and wake up to the fact that there are women who are Full in this world. Would the Media of today told Marlyn Monroe, Bettie Page, Mae West to lose weight if they were alive today.
Those women were curvy and in my opnion worth more then the drugged out aneorexic/bulimic asshats that are running around today making the world hell for the True population of REAL women in this world.

Again thank you to the Person who did this Caption

    Time to Wake Up World

    • monnanon says:

i agree, enough of the you must lose wieght to be pretty nonsense. This is what it is like to be a woman today, you hit (well nowadays) 8 years old and suddenly everyone is looking at you and making judgements. SHes too skinny, shes too fat so you try to change, suddenly its the otehr way round. Ok that may sound a bit far fetched but it does happen. everyone is so hung up on body image it jsut isnt healthy. Celebs seem to get attacked for it. One day they are so beautifull, the next they have lost a bit of wieght through the upping of their workload or stress or whatever and suddenly ooh she not looking after herself. Its happenign to men now too, yes there is men with eating disorders. Its got to stop.

There is not a “normal” body shape. Some of us are fat some of us are skinny whats important is that we are happy with ourselves and stuff everyone else well to the point that we start to damge our health with our wieghts. As long as we are happy and healthy then does it matter if we have a fat arse. personally i think its more comfy to sit on my fat arse than when i had a skinny one :P

As for the caption very very well said :)

    • Eric-in-STL says:

Thanx for the compliment, and EPIC WIN for your comment. :)

    • Paul says:

Your real problem is fairly obvious.
Angrily reciting media slogans doesn’t make you attractive, and if this is how a “real woman” behaves, I’ll take a fake one, thank you. Maturity matters.

    • Kendra says:

The media of her day DID ridicule Marilyn Monroe when she put on weight in 1959 and 1960.

What a short memory we seem to have.

    • Kat says:

Also all those women had talent…today all you need is a decent face and no body mass and look your a star!

    • Frustrated says:

Well, I’m sick of full figured women getting on my ass for being “anorexic” even though I’m actually a very healthy weight. It goes both ways, it’s not like all your problems disappear if you’re thin and attractive. And it’s not “you must be thin to be hot.” How many tabloids do you see calling Amy Winehouse a total fox? Being thin is not an automatic pass into the “you are hot” zone. Honestly, I see a lot more of those gossip mags and TV shows attacking the underweight stars than I do them getting onto curvy women.

Oh, and Marilyn Monroe is worth more as a person than say, Keira Knightley, just on the sole virtue that she weighed more!? That’s pretty harsh. Bulimia and anorexia are eating disorders. You may have problems losing weight, but some other people have serious issues with having it on. My best friend suffered with anorexia all through high school, and it had nothing to do with the “media” that everyone loves to blame, trust me.

There’s nothing wrong with being full figured. If you want to live that way, be my guest. But don’t act like you’re somehow better just because you’re not the social norm. “REAL” women? Please, if I have to be unhealthy to be “real,” then I want NO part of it.

  29. BAW says:

    The word is “Rubenesque.”

  30. pbean says:

You all miss the point. We don’t want YOUR opinion on big ladies. If they’re good enough for Pierce Brosnan, that’s good enough for me.

    • DaYaoiFan says:

But at last you’re here to set things straight, and give your opinion on commenters opinions. And now that your job here is done, we all wave good-bye as you ride away in the sunset, upon your fiery steed.

  31. Cecona says:

Thank you! As a big girl myself, I really cant stand how people can go around and ridicule a girl who isnt at an ‘attractive’ weight. And seeing all the uber skinny models who starve themselves and take hormones to get that skinny fricken everywhere, does not help at all. Thats how eating disorders and dangerously low self-esteem are created. I myself have incredibly low self-esteem because of people saying that my weight is unattractive. But seeing this caption and how many people are agreeing that curvy girls are sexy makes me feel a little better about my situation.

  32. Kendra says:

I’m going to have to agree with those saying she is an unhealthy weight.

What I DO love is that it doesn’t seem to matter to Mr. Brosnan.

But . . . the term “curvy” is only appropriate to a point. If she were naturally curvy, she could still be healthy, but she is not. Her “curves” are in fact comprised of fat.

  33. dizz says:

i lol when people talk about airbrush this and that. Hell, most of the finest goddesses I’ve seen weren’t in pictures on the internet or in magazines, they were fine babes I’ve known through high school

  34. dizz says:

o and btw, yes extremes of either too “large” or too skinny can both be unattractive. Sadly the media fails to find the medium and tends to lean to heavily to the latter.

If you can see a chick’s rib cage, fail.
If you can’t see any of the chick’s bones, also fail.
    Lol.

  35. Kendra says:

I should point out that she is still a beautiful woman. But no, she’s not healthy.

I don’t know if I could let myself go completely and just shrug it off.

  36. kaiamaeve says:

pictures don’t tell the story of her happiness. it’s hard to believe how much people are judged based on how they look.

you know – I have some friends that look great but live miserably, and others who wouldn’t win a beauty pageant, ever – that have more joy in life than 99% of the people out there.

how catty people can be! whatever their mental states – I hope Pierce and his lovely date had a great evening. props to them for being willing to have a great time and probably not worry all that much about what the peanut gallery (us) has to say about it.

  37. hopems says:

Keely Shaye Smith used to be much thinner. She put on weight from having children.

  38. Mori says:

Yes, she’s fat(ish). Does she look like she cares? No. Who would while on a date with BROSNAN? If a guy like him liked me like I am I’d drop my died right here and right now, damnit!

  39. JAE says:

That’s his wife, I’m guessing? This makes him even sexier in my book. Shame on me for thinking a man as handsome as him would have a stick-figure better half.

  40. hamodyong says:

She is a beauty to the man she holds dear..it is a matter of opinion.

  41. love from vienna, austria says:

    DANKESCHÖN!

    (Thank you!)

  42. randomchic86 says:

how are the people saying that she is unhealthy DEFINITELY sure of that? im surprised that her medical records are so easily available for people. Newsflash: you cannot determine health based on physical appearance ALONE. get your heads out of your butts, and realize that. im sure you guys are the epitome of perfect health then huh?

  43. bootothat says:

Clicky for an older picture of her…

  44. Pooki says:

not all curvy people are unhealthy. i’m a little overweight and im a bit curvy, and my doc says im perfectly fine. my cholesterol is slightly high, but so is my friend and he has a perfectly average body type. it’s amazing how people can be all big and bad over the net when they don’t know the person. she looks fine to me! :P

  45. momo says:

    she’s gorgeous.

  46. Rarsinator says:

  50. heather says:

Wait, so guys go for a woman with curves? WOO HOO!!

  51. Cosmopolitan Magazine says:

Cosmopolitan Sept. 1996 Article illustrating how Keely Shaye Smith used the old woops I “accidentally” got pregnant and am so surprised! Doesn’t sound like he’s in love with her from this interview. Pierce Brosnan’s first wife, Cassandra Harris, was actually a Bond girl before he was Bond, an established actress herself, and made him the man and actor he is. She was not only beautiful but loved by everyone for her spirit and kindness. She was 10 yrs older than he though you could not tell. Photos from her 20s show why she was in famed photographer Lord Lichfield’s book, ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Women”. Many photos of her available online show how beautiful she must have been inside and out to be dying of cancer in her late 30s while still looking beautiful and sparkling with charisma and personality. Together they parented Pierce’s first son Sean Brosnan in 1983 (incredibly handsome). And he adopted her first two children, Christopher (also incredibly handsome from my memory of him during his New York nightlife appearances) and Charlotte, from whom she had with ex-husband Dermot Harris, great actor Richard Harris’ brother, upon Dermot’s death. So tragic for those children to lose both their mother and father. Tragic for Sean to lose his mother as a young child. And so tragic for Pierce to lose the love of his life. Perhaps he would have never moved on had Keely not forced it all upon him. Calling Keely fat is not nice nor does it say anything about who she is. However, it is said by many her “flaws” on the outside are a true reflection of her inner character and spirit, for those that think fat is a flaw. The article:
Brosnan first met Keely Shaye-Smith, whom he sometimes absentmindedly refers to as Cassie, in Mexico in April 1994. Brosnan was sitting at the pool when she strode by. “When she walked back, she asked me for a few eco tips. Later on the beach, she was in a bathing costume – very lovely.”
“I don’t want to be tied down to just one woman. I’ve been open in the relationship, as far as that’s concerned. I have no plans to get married.”
Indeed, when Keely found out she was pregnant (the baby’s due in January), she and Pierce did intense soul-searching and came to two conclusions: no abortion, no marriage. “We talked about the matter long and hard, ” Brosnan says. “It was so unexpected – [I was] absolutely blown away. Abortion should be the woman’s right, but the thought of it just broke my heart – made me feel like an executioner. Besides, Keely wanted to have the baby.
Besides impending fatherhood, what holds him to Keely is her allowing him the illusion that he’s a single man. “She’s thirty-one, and I’ m forty-two,” Brosnan says. “I have a wider breadth of experience in life. I don’t mean to sound grand or better, but there’s that element of being older.”

  52. hannah:0 says:

I really do think that girl is MUCH prettier compared to like… paris hilton or brittany spears. we all seem to accept it so why can’t the media?

  53. tracy says:

Are we forgetting she didn’t look anything like that when he married her nine years ago!

  54. Mom says:

All I can say is the “THE PRINCESS BRIDE” said it best “rest well and dream of large women”
