Screw implanting it. How about we evaluate the teachers based on the language and grammar skills of their students. How about we force teachers to do what we’re paying them for???
Teachers who can’t get something as simple as this right in the majority of their students need to be fired. Anyone else who failed so miserably at the simple parts of their jobs would lose said jobs. Why can’t we hold teachers to the same standard that we hold everyone else?
Right…blame the teachers. They MUST be somehow responsible for all the dumb kids.
As a high school student, I can bear testimony to the fact that most students in today’s education system simply don’t care about learning most of the material that is presented to them. You could put the best teacher in the world in front of a typical 8th grade class for a week, and I doubt the kids would learn much more than they do now.
Also I believe the education system is highly inefficient, as it is based around the assumption that every student should be exactly the same as the rest. Students excel in many different areas, and struggle in others. It’s unfair to expect all of them to learn at the same pace and with the same methods as
everyone else. This is not really the fault of the teachers, it’s simply the whole system that’s faulty.

Thanks! I actually homeschool for a lot of subjects as well as taking some courses at the local high school. Doing so provides me with an interesting senseof
