Religious artifacts you have no problem with, but aliens are dumb? Let’s see, mass brainwashing cults and their paraphernalia as opposed to the logical existence of extra-terrestrials that is inevitable given the sheer mind-boggling vastness of the universe. Hmm… Tough choice, but aliens are still more believable than religion.
