you know movie maker people make mistakes as you can see {when he first takes her to his layer} when she faints her right arm isnt sticking out {when he shows her the wedding dress} but when you see him taking her to his bed all of sudden her arm is sticking out if you pay close attention to that part you get what im trying to say and just to say i worn some stalkings like that and they ich so she probably took them off and forgot to put them back on i mean it’s movie makers mistakes you know .. just to let you know and also they film different scenes at different times so some stuff is different than what they were before..

In the original book Christine lives with the Phantom for two weeks but is still a virgin, it’s very specific about that.
Gerard Butler is gorgeous in the part, but – he’s not supposed to be! He’s supposed to be hideous!
I don’t think she would have resisted GB for 2 minutes, let alone 2 weeks…

Yes, but unless you are familiar with the exact dictionary definition, you are naturally going to default to the FIRST definition which is more widely used.
I could use “Sanguinary” to mean I want something vehemently, but that’s not the main usage. The main meaning is “Bloodthirsty” and that’s what anyone who knows the word would think I meant.

Ok, this movie isn’t really based on the book. It’s a theatrical production of a Broadway show that has been the most successful ever. Look up Andrew Lloyd Webber and see what he says on the matter. He wrote it for his *at that time* girlfriend. Even he admits its a loosely based adaptation.

What rape? I’ve read the book, there’s no rape. I’ve seen the movie – no rape. Lived and breathed the musical when I was a teen, yeah, still no rape. And if you’re going to argue about the technical definition of “rape” including “to abscond with that which one does not own,” that’s kinda redundant cause you already mentioned kidnapping.

Oh, and he could do anything he wanted to me, pretty much whenever and wherever he wants. In the words of Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar… Scha-WING!!!

I hate Christine, she’s just a cruel b****. She repeatedly kicked the Phantom while he was down.

Why’d she have to go with Vicomte de Pansy, who had to get his ass saved from Erik TWICE.

Besides, Erik wouldn’t be so crazy if his mother (and Christine for that matter) hadn’t made him that way. And it was Christine repeatedly breaking his heart that really drove him loony.

Besides, Gerard Butler makes a drop-dead gorgeous Phantom, whereas Raoul is just a wimpy pretty boy, whatever the actor.

The Vicomte de Chagny can fall of the highest cliff or drown in the Mariana Trench. and i will do my worst. but sadly it must be in my mind for fear they might delete my comment before you read it. and he let her go because he found it in his heart that he didn’t want her to suffer with him. and while Christine is the protaganist and is awesome, she was cruel to give the Phantom that hope when she came back to him to give back the ring. and yes, Raoul is a nice stable young man, i never said he wasn’t i just said he LOOKS gay. but to defend christine and Raoul, Erik is around Madame Giry’s age, and Christine is around Meg’s age. thats a generation difference right there.
