LOL the who is old
Who is old? Are they on first base?
If this is old then I will like being old!
hehehe.. That’s one helluva split:D
Hey, they didn’t have many problems moving about at the grand prix in melbourne this year… :]
hello my Ausy brethrin
They had no trouble moving at the North Harvour Stadium 3 weeks ago!
LONG LIVE THE LAST TWO MEMBERS OF THE WHO!
They are faaaantastic!
I’ll never forget their live performance!
well ok then……
I thought that Rock was supposed to be the music of youthful rebellion.
yeah right … *cough* jonas *cough* brothers *cough*
Well, they’ve got the ‘youthful’ part down at least.
youth, we have in excess, we need a fountain of other quality charecter traits
Rock is dead they say?
LONG LIVE ROCK!
YEAH RIGHT when Townshend breaks a hip rock WILL be dead.
You DO NOT tell Pete Townshend to be careful! ESPECIALLY in such an epic snapshot as this!
Broke A hip? Since when do you have have more than one hip? -fail-
Townshend and Daltrey have more credibility that ANYONE on the “contemporary” scene. The “Industry” killed rock. That’s why it’s in a museum, here, in Cleveland.
I lol’d after hearing this.
Good one.
industry will kill everything. from rock cakes to chesse rolls. and everything else people enjoy.
Three words The. Mountain. Goats.
I was a few weeks shy of my fifteenth burthday when some friends invited me to join them for a Who concert in spring 1969. I went home and asked my dad if I could go to a concert and could I borrow some money for the ticket? He was surprizingly happy to help me out except that he insisted that I wear a white shirt and tie and take a Blazer. In hindsight I determined that he thought I was off to see the Philharmonic, not a rock concert, I never dissabused him of that notion. They did a great first set of wonderfull rock and roll and then they did the entire Tommy rock opera. I was never the same after that, radicalized for life.
It’s so good to see them playing again…Roger’s an awesome guy in person. Christ he’s tiny, though.
Pete Townshend still makes me weak in the knees
Of course he does, he’s all kinds of awesome.
And old.
But still awesome.
That looks like a “Won’t Get Fooled Again” pose.
I saw them at the Borgata on Halloween – AWESOME!
White men can jump!
I wouldn’t mind fixing his hip if you know what I mean ;D
(I’m kidding, but I still love The Who)
lol
