  1. Aaron Hong says:

Did they ever spoof Slumdog Millionaire with Apu and family? Also, first.

  2. ... says:

    Should have done anal Apu.

  3. toasti says:

what a stupid caption. at least she’s married? omg burn!

  4. Cowpie says:

lol, the other octomom is completely crazy :P

  5. Pretentious White Girl says:

Since when is being married a prerequisite for being a decent parent? If only the fact that she’s single were octomom’s worst quality.

    Fail.

    • toasti says:

      my thoughts exactly.

    • Jeskyre says:

Well its not being single that makes her a bad parent..
what makes her a bad parent is that she’s unemployed, trying to go to school, and already had 6 children via in-vitro.

Despite not being able to afford caring for her first 6 kids, she had in-vitro AGAIN, (at the risk to her own health.. she is getting older) and BAM: 8 more kids.

Now she had 14 kids (8 which are in diapers), debt from student loans, and absolutely no means of income (and being a single parent… its going to be very difficult to try to juggle a career and 14 kids..)

      • HellHathNoFury says:

Serious question after reading all of this financial crap about her:
Should she be charged along the lines of Bernard Madoff for just about singlehandedly ruining the her state’s economy by taking so much of our taxes? She seesm to have made off like Madoff

      • StreetPreacher says:

It’s even more difficult when you take into account that two, possibly three, of her children are disabled. Caring for a disabled child *is* a full-time job… in which case choosing to have more is definitely a FAIL if you don’t have a second parent available to either bring in an honest income, or provide the necessary amounts of 1-on-1 interaction time with said child.

        • HellHathNoFury says:

Um, ‘learning disabled’ is not the same thing as disabled. She’s using thier lack of discipline and her preoccupation with her selfish desires rather than teaching her kids as a ‘disability’. Funny how she claimed that long before they were school-age.

          • Alicia says:

no, two of them are autistic.

            • Anon says:

              ohhh…burn.

if you know anyone with an autistic child, you know it’s a full time job on it’s own, without having a million other kids. And kids don’t need to be school age for you to know they have a learning disability. They show signs of learning from day 1 of life.

and yes, a ‘learning disability’ is exactly the same as a disability…cause it’s a disability…it’s right there in the title…’learning disability’…

      • Damn, I don’t know how she does it. The most newborns I can juggle are four. Any more and I drop them and they stop moving and making noise.

        • HarleyQuinnLovesJoker says:

Oh dear god, that comment made me snort. So wrong, yet I can’t stop laughing. Thank you Death by Taco.

  6. Kickstart says:

At least Apu has a jobby job.

  7. Leah says:

    Octomom should hire Butch Patrick.

  8. yasoup says:

Chill, people. It’s just a weak caption with a weak ‘zing!’

  9. Yer Mom says:

Yer Mom says that you can take your classism and sexism and shove ‘em both, sideways.

  10. I was raised by a single mother. although, I have always had interaction with my father, step-mother, step-brother, and half-brother. Two of my best friends [twins] were raised by a single mother and never had a father. I’d say she’s done a damn good job.

    • Zambo says:

Done a good job at what? Selfish is the only thing I see.

      • DaffySaffy says:

Zambo, I think Death by Taco was referring to his/her friend’s mother doing a damn good job.

I reckon there are lots of us on here who either were ourselves or know people who were raised by single parents and who turned out ok (including yours truly). It’s not so much the being a single parent that makes me angry towards Octomom, but her selfishness and the deliberation with which she sought out IVF to add to a family she could already ill-afford to raise single-handedly. I could go on. . . and on. . . and on. . . :-)

    • StCyr says:

      Did you have 13 siblings?
A single parent is fine when he/she only has a couple kids, but once you get up to 3 or 4 it becomes difficult to manage affording them, much less taking care of them emotionally. As many as 14 it’s completely irresponsible to raise alone.

  11. naughtyBoy says:

No, but continually conceiving (and artificially, too – so it was a definite aim and not just a side effect of some legover) when you can’t support the tribe you already have certainly makes her a bad parent.

  12. Bo says:

I thought they got divorced in one episode???

    • yasoup says:

In ‘The Sweetest Apu’, Apu cheats on Manjula with “The Squishee Lady” and she ALMOST divorces him. However, he redeems himself with embarrassing tasks (and one involving the octuplets). The Valentine’s episode, ‘Much Apu About Nothing’ was 10x better…

  13. Koki Kariya says:

    BA ZING!

  14. 3D_girl says:

lol. the original octomom and nobody realized it? wow. still funny, though.

  15. Married, and has some form of financial support other than welfare… or appearing on The Library shooting dolls out of her va-jay-jay.
