Muppet creator Jim Henson was a good friend of George Lucas, who originally offered him the role of Yoda in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.
Um. But Frank OZ does the voice of Yoda… Or do you mean the Creation of the puppet…

Probably means that Henson was offered the role first, but when he didn’t take it Oz got the part. (I wouldn’t be surprised if Henson realized that Oz would do a better job–and I think he was right!)

This doesn’t make sense, simply because those guys were actually funny and never repeatedly said the same jokes about Amy Winehouse, the Jonas Brothers, and Paris Hilton.
Paris Hilton wasn’t even a sparkle in her Daddy’s eye when the Muppet Show was going. Wouldn’t Waldorf and Statdler love to comment on the talentless crew of 3rd class celebrities infesting the pop scene today! Senior citirazzis!
