He’s like a mind virus. Once you see a picture of him it haunts you. You can’t get rid of him, he lurks in the back of your mind until opportune moments arrive and Pop! There he is at the front again and another caption is born. A self replicating caption subject.
This movie is what made me HATE clowns as a child. And to this day for that matter.

They’re just not funny. Creepy, yes – but not funny. Read Terry Pratchett’s Discworld book where clowns are consistently shown as pathetic and baffling.
