A guitarist is having trouble finding work so he decides to take up bass guitar. He finds a band with an opening and they tell him he has to find a doctor who will remove half his brain. He thinks this is a little extreme, but he really wants the gig.

So he finds a surgeon who will perform the surgery. When he comes out of the anesthesia the surgeon is standing at his bedside.

“I have good news and bad news,” the surgeon says. “The good news is that the surgery was a success. The bad news is we accidentally removed two thirds of your brain instead of only half.”

“That’s cool,” says the former guitarist. “Got any sticks?”
