That was back when they were all young, hot, skinny and still had their real hair.
I think Chavez (Phillips) was the first one shot. He took one in the gut and went to see the “White Horse” out in the cemetery. That was actually Young Guns II. Arkansas Dave (Slater) wasn’t in Young Guns I.

Doc (Sutherland) was the first to go. Chavez tells Billy (Estevez) in the end, after they meet back up, “Garrett already took me, when he took Doc.”

Was he seriously? Makes sense to me since Dave was such an A-hole I figured he’d go first. So lets see, it was Dave, Doc, Chavez then The Kid? Or did Doc go first then Dave?
Doc, Chavez, and Dave whenever he reached the Mexican border. And Billy, no one knows for certain. . . .
In the movie he supposedly never died (As he was the one who told the story) but in reality, the question lives on.
Actually, I’ve never seen Young Guns 2, and it’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen 1. Doesn’t affect the joke any though, imho. Of course, I wrote the joke, so I’m biased.
At any rate, hope it’s still funny. It’s my first front page LOL, so I’m happy regardless.
Chavez was the LAST one to die – because he was basically badass enough to wield the knife.
The first one to die was the skinny white blond guy with the confidence issues that mandated the carrying of the biggest gun.
This was exactly how I worked it out, without having seen either film!

And by the way, this is the second movie, and Doc dies first, then Chavez dies(though we dont see it), then Dave(which we also dont see), and then, based on the entire plot of the movie-seeing as its told from Billy’s point of view- Billy dies as Brushy Bill(or whatever his name is)
And Chavez carries the knives cause he is so totally AWESOME that he can pull it off.
