You might wish to be aware that Mark Hamill was in a serious car crash, which disrupted his career as much as anything.

Eh, not funny. Hamill still had a career, just not any more huge movies. He’s doing rather well for himself, and I really don’t think he’s crying over anything. Apples and oranges, people.
Apples and oranges now, but they started out as apples and apples. That’s kind of the point.
I believe that Hamill went the route of mostly stage acting instead of screen acting. Just because he wasn’t in as many leading roles in movies as Ford doesn’t mean Hamill was unhappy, broke, or unsuccessful. Why does the measure of his success have to be how many starring movie roles he had? People measure success in different ways.
I heard he more made a choice to quit acting in movies because he wanted to be a hands-on, come-home-every-night kind of dad. I can dig that.

Mark Hamill still does just fine. Currently he is working on several video games (including Batman: Arkham Asylum), he made his own five-issue comic book, the Black Pearl, and he is going to direct the comic book’s movie adaptation.

Mark Hamill’s car accident busted his nose. They fixed it well, but he never looked the same. He was ADORABLE before. Weird how the shape of a nose can change someone’s looks so much. But I agree with the poster who said his accident had a lot to do with him not going on to other starring roles in movies.
Actually, I think Mark Hamill’s career did continue quite successfully. Sure, it wasn’t as noticed or revered as Ford’s career, but it was good for the path he chose.
Honestly, I think being a voice actor would be great. He worked on Batman the Animated series, a few Studio Ghibli films (Laputa, Naussica, a couple of others – all amazing films), Avatar the Last Airbender and a bunch of video games. Sounds like a fun career to me, and I hope he’s happy with it.

Mark Hamill is a voice actor now, and does a few spots on some shows. he was the voice for the joker for batman the animated series, and the new arcam asalium games… im sure i spelled that wrong… anyway also plays wolverene in the wolverene’s revenge video games. you should really check out his wiki….. he probably has more money than harrison ford lol
