Crap! Who forgot to order the digital converter box?

Sorry, Capn’! I need some more time to install it!
“D*mnit Jim, I’m not a satellite tech, I’m a doctor.”
Konwerter is not werking, Ciptin.
Wodka for eewryone.
it’s TV jim, but not as we know it!
That’s not Bill Shatner. The shape of the viewscreen and the shade of yellow of the uniforms of the two pilots indicate that this is from the pilot episode “The Cage”, which means the guy in the centre chair is Captain Pike, played by Jeffrey Hunter.
Very good eye. I was just shaking my head thinking ‘I don’t think that’s Jim”.
It’s the “too cerebral” pilot for the series?
And cable is a better value.
Phweeeet. Paging all nerds to the bridge, this is a Trekkie emergency.
I kid.
Excuse me most of us now prefer Trekker now that we’re in our dotage.
Funny!
Can’t be Jeffrey Hunter/Captain Pike. If it were, then Majel Barrett (Number One) would be at the helm.
The second pilot, “Where No Man Has Gone Before,” used the first pilot’s uniforms–Spock was even in gold rather than blue. So that’s Shatner in the center chair, with Paul Carr as Lee Kelso at the helm, and Gary Lockwood as Gary Mitchell blocked by the word balloon.
/hugs! I thought I was the only one going to point out she was missing. ^^
Can’t they just bounce the signal off the deflector dish?
We’re 12 parsecs from Starbase 9 and the cable is only 11 parsecs long.
Still not Shatner, `Jim` – the hair`s too dark and too flat.
It’s Shatner, they used to use a lot of hair oil. I just finished watching the first month of the original (I have all 3 seasons) and the only part of his hair that looks blonde in this episode is the very front.
I give you Exhibit A:

He’s wearing the transitional uniform, and his hair is as dark and flat as the one in the picture above.
And Exhibit B:

The guy sitting in Sulu’s chair, seen from the front.
Bingee bingee – twingee twingee
It’s funny to watch the Trekies fight…
NERD WAR!!!!
It’s probably not a matter of forgetting to get the converter…they’re probably still waiting for their coupon. The forty bucks they save with the coupon will then either be put toward special effects, or a new “rug” for Shatner.
no dish tv on the enterprise?
It IS Jim in Where No Man Has Gone Before, 4th min. 4th sec.
