Meh, she may or may not be anorexic… she’s pretty… skinny… and she’d be pretty if she were overweight too. I’m skinny (5’10″ bout 115 lbs) and I’ve been this skinny for YEARS (at least 10 by now) I even had a kid and fell right back to this weight… some people just ARE skinnier… and yes, it’s probably tape in her dress :p

whoever made this is a total jerk! you must have some insecurities yourself to pick on other people like this. what is it that you are lacking? i feel sorry for you and your ignorance and pigheaded-ness.

i am so sick to death of society and so many men judging and placing so much pressure on teenage girls and women to have big breasts. women don’t go around posting lols about the size of your d*ck’s because most of us actually have enough brains to realise that there is more to life and love than that!

if people didn’t make pictures like this there wouldn’t be so much self-loathing and insecurity in the world. everybody has at least something that makes them beautiful and it doesn’t have to be a physical characteristic.

I think Keira is a beautiful woman but more importantly, she is an extremely talented actress. stop judging others so cruelly and look for the beauty in everyone, you’ll probably become a much happier person because of it.

No, Erin, you’re mistaken. In fact, I could post 10 different websites with probably 6 different “instructions” for “proper measurement.” You know what calculation a good professional fitter uses? NONE. They bring you sizes and you try them on. All the different manufacturers use DIFFERENT bra band measurements and cup volume sizes — there is no consistency.

As a final remark, if I added 5 inches to my bra band size, it would be loose and slipping up my back. It should be horizontal across your back. If it’s slipping up your back, it’s not supporting your breasts in front. You’re wearing the wrong size. 90% of your support comes from that band, NOT the straps, so it needs to be firm.

And if you can’t find a cup that fits, when you have on your proper, firm-fitting band, look elsewhere. Keep looking, buy online if you have to, but keep looking. It’s WORTH IT.

Generally, humans are born with different proportions than the alien figures paraded around on billboards and magazines. The media simply promotes an imaginary portrayal of the female body with Photoshop, plastic surgery, and makeup, celebrities acting as their chief instruments of deceit. Dear Hollywood, and those who watch it: larger, curvier figures are typically accompanied by larger breasts; small, boyish figures are typically accompanied by smaller ones. People seemed to accept this in the eras of Bettie Page and Marilyn Monroe, but now the ideal is skinny with large boobs, one that is rare without surgery, and frankly unrealistic. I feel sorry for most ladies on screen, because if someone isn’t laughing at them for being fat they’re scorning them for being flat and skinny.
Dresses with this cut would flatten any boobs you did have, and FYI actually *having* large breasts can be limiting on dress types b/c of trouble getting enough support. Trust the D-cup here.

It’s a mental disease, and people who have it want nothing more then to get better. Please don’t criticize anorexic people that way. A) You CAN choose to be underweight, just as you can choose to be overweight, though I do agree some just are underweight, regardless. But there are things you can do to combat this to actually look healthy.
B) “KEIRA KNIGHTLY is anorexic, which isn’t even close to being underweight…” What does that even mean??? The one MAJOR symptom of anorexia is being underweight. Just what do you think anorexia actually is???
C) She just may have chosen to starve herself for popularity, just as anyone “chooses” to have a mental illness. Whether it’s the case or not, you feel you don’t fit into a certain body type and starve yourself to achieve it, even surpass it, because the illness is that you still think you’re fat even when you’re not.

Im a model/actress, and considered to be underweight…5’7″ and 101 lbs at 16 years old. Knightly is an amazing actress and is perfectly fine the way she is. that’s right! if i want a bra that isn’t outrageously padded to make it appear as if i have “normal” sized breasts, i get a training bra (and yes, i am writing “normal” here with as much sarcasm as 6 little letters can carry). trainers come in white or pink and have teensy rose clusters on them. so sweet, so innocent, so not a 30-something woman like myself.

so i have to choose: ridiculously under-aged yet comfortable or ridiculously padded (with underwires?!) but age-appropriate.

Well, her arms look fine, & her face isn’t sunken in. From this pic, I can see that she hasn’t reached stick-level yet…I’m of regular weight but I have really bony shoulder blades, so w/e bone might be showing prolly isn’t a sign of anorexia. I love Keira Knightley, though– she’s an awesome actress. At least I don’t hear about her doing drugs, sleeping around, or partying like a Lohan. Knightley might stand to gain a few pounds, but she looks pretty healthy to me. Then again, I can’t see her spine…the spine is usually the give-away.

This is insufficiently described with the word underweight, too many people think something like that is attractive and leeds the severely impressionable to try and look the same(which is their own stupid fault, celebrities are not role models.) She Used to look good but has lost a way way too much weight. And if you look at that picture can you tell me what the hell is holding the dress up it isn’t her body. Basically she needs to gain weight, and the long neck does not bother me and did not seem so prominent before she became grossly underweight.

Studies are showing that being underweight will lengthen one’s lifespan. You have to undereat by like 30%, IIRC.

Are you insane?! Of COURSE she CHOSE to be a role model! Every person in the entire world knows that if you are know by enough people you are looked up to by some. Common sense, toots.
And underweight IS unhealthy. and just like being overweight, the signs of it may not be evident now but years down the road you can start to develop heart arrhythmia and you can die. If you are underweight by a huge margin, such as Kiera Knightly, you should really look into taking some sort of weight gaining supplements. I’m not sure of names but they have them. Completely healthy to gain weight when you need to.
And I will admit, some women are born with smaller breasts than others, but all women that are healthy, have something on their chest. Even a girl defined as “flat-chested” will still have mounds. It’s anatomy. The breast if for giving nourishment to a child and all women are born with then and then tissue and glands used in their one and only job.

It’s the opposite for me. I wear a 36C. I can’t wear anything smaller than 36; it’s too tight to the point that it hurts and I feel like I can’t breath. Additionally, every time I go into Victoria’s Secret and get “measured” they tell me I’m a 38DD. I am no where near that. Those bras hang off of me and the cups are way too big. Especially VS. I fit perfectly into a VS 36C and laugh at what a 388 DD looks like on me. So it would make sense that VS doesn’t measure properly given my experience with them many times. And I would consider myself a slender person, aside from the boobs.

Obviously, you don’t know anyone who eats like a—let’s be honest, here—a freakin’ pig, and still stays skinny, no matter what. It might be less common, but I know at least two of them. I also know some people who do NOT eat like that, exercise regularly, and still stay overweight.

But I knew that there would be responses like yours.
Even with other examples, posted above, you’re going to stick to what you believe to be true.
