Story of my life.
my of life story .
Try having an imaginary friend as an adult and see what happens to you.
they call you christian
?????
That was a bit of a win.
That was definitely a lose.
The question marks were a lose. The comment they were in reply to was a win. ^^
You, sir, have won the internet! Grats!
Best thing that comes with it: if they doubt the existence of your imaginary friend, you are entitled to burn them!
That was seriously retarded.
Was that really necessary? Keep your hateful comments to yourself.
@tehgrim
Not really, it was rather humorous.
good one^^
i’m home
BEST
COMIC
EVER!
The wisdom in some of the C&H strips are truly profound. The US Government should take note…
Oh, my God, just what I needed this morning.
You know, this strip still runs in Ecuador. The dialogue is the same–no bizzare translations.
They never have good comic strips anymore, do they?
5 stars, mostly because this is my favorite comic strip of all time, after Far Side.
Yeah, the Far Side was pretty good. “At it again, I see…and with my fresh sponge cake!”
Ah, the eighties, when comics were good, hair was bad, and Rick Astley danced his ginger arse off.
Let us not forget the slugs worshiping at the giant salt shaker chanting “eeny-oony-wanah, eeny-oony-wanah”.
That’s what people with no friends say
I’m sorry, what?
Didn’t your sainted mother ever tell you not to say things like that? I happen to have plenty of friends. >.<
That strip makes me miss being 8.
I LOVE Calvin & Hobbes!
This was the greatest comic strip of all time. Profound, twisted, wise and wonderful….and screamingly funny. The arc with the injured baby raccoon was the purest kind of genius on every level.
“But don’t you go anywhere.”
“Promise.”
That one made me hug every single one of my stuffed animals, and my parents, and my sister. It taught me something about life and death, too, and compassion towards animals.
Truly an epic comic.
I know the one you are talking about… and it was quite perfect, you are right.
Man I loved Calvin and Hobbes. *H*Did you have a bad day at school? *C* I don’t want to talk about it. *H* Did it have anything to do with those sirens around noon? *C* I SAID I don’t want to talk about it!
I LOVE THEM! If I were Comic Book Guy, I would rate this…well, same as Michelle rated it. I have several Calin and Hobbes stickers on my cars, one in the front window of calvin running, and one in the back of hobbes chasing him. and my fave is is the one on my daughter’s passenger window, of them in thier red wagon with arms flailing and covering thier eyes. This isn’t any typical comic. It teaches many of the strange conundrums of life as a kid, and growing up, with a bizarre accuracy that makes you think, “Hey, i thought I was the only one who felt that way’.
Bill Watterson worked very hard to keep C&H off of crappy merchandise like what you just described.
((Searching web for comic))
Once Upon A WIN.
Yes, absolutely!! Calvin and Hobbes will always be the most amazing comic ever.
Calvin and Hobbes is DEFINITELY an epic win. No other strip made me laugh like that. None EVER has. Wow. Calvin and Hobbes should be on “Once Upon A Win”.
=)
I’ve always loved Calvin and Hobbes, I grew up with the comics. My mom even knitted me a sweater which had the picture in this lol on the front. It was awesome.
awwwwwwwwww. yeah!! so I AM NOT CRAZY DARN IT!!
Had a bad day? Dig out your Calvin & Hobbes!
Never fails to bring a tear to my eye and a smile to my face and a warm happy feeling to my heart.
Amen to this, I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes all the time. I’d read it at night under the covers with a flashlight when I was supposed to be in bed. It was an escape.
Oh yeah, snowman accident art FTW!
Heh, this is way true.
That comic made me smile every time i read it. And because of that, I never let anythings get between me and my animal friends, even if most of them are stuffed. LLC&H!
You sir, get a gold star.
Every single Calvin and Hobbes comic has either made me laugh, or think deeply. I have never come across one I didn’t like.
Teacher: Yes, Calvin?
Calvin: I have to go.
Teacher: Again?
Calvin: I really have to go.
Teacher: Fine, but be quick.
(it skips to Calvin’s home)
Calvin’s Mom: What are you doing home!?
Calvin: I had to go.
Op, same with me!
I was reading these the other day. The, “Your bangs hide the lobotomy scars well” one is BRILLIANT! (If you know which one I’m talking about, you rock!)
I love that comic!!!! From the insane wagon/sled rides to the dad’s obsession with character. These comics make me LMAO every time.
these two were anti-God.
What the heck? It’s a comic strip. An epic one at that. And this is coming from a Christian.
This belongs on IMMD.
This is just EPIC!!!!!!!! Damn, I love this pic!
My life story, for want of better words!
