That is absolutely hilarious. Jokes still being made about Star Wars after all these years. Maybe Hollywood should come up with some more original ideas for great movies rather than all of the remakes.
Isn’t it more or less the case that Star Wars was a loose remake of “The Hidden Fortress”? Don’t get me wrong – big fan of four of the six films, and they will endure for quite a long time, but I just thought your comment about ‘remakes’ was kind of ironic given Star Wars’ history
You could also make an argument about a mix of any one of lots of fantasy movies and 633 Squadron (which Lucas actually used footage of in a demo print whilst ILM were working on the Death Star attack footage).
This isn’t really funny. It wouldn’t have been bad except that in my head the Vader voice would never say “father figure.” It just doesn’t sound right.

I have a 9 yr old. With friends, lots of them. I’m glad she likes Queen and the beach Boys, but her friends parents are the type that offer thier kid mainstream crud with no thought involved.
Where as cats that talk, dogs that make witty puns, and Spock setting up a webcam are perfectly normal, every day events…..

But to be fair, he does live in a galaxy far, far away and all this happened a long time ago. Maybe he was singing the Cantina Band cover version, where the lyrics were changed because the then owner of the Cantina didn’t like the word tiny (It was his nickname when he was bullied as a child, and sometimes he still wakes up screaming in the night because of the bad memories).
