  1. Smarties says:

    Nice.
But hey, it’s more of a career then most of the other kids that are finally dumped by disney after they stop looking like a highschooler at least.

  2. FBR says:

Pfft miley, that’s old news, south park did it, so lame

  3. lolwannabeee says:

Did she really do a pole dance at the TCA’s??

    • elinimoomundoot says:

      Yup. Unfortunately.

    • peepers says:

And her father gave her a standing ovation.

      creeeeepy

    • chunkymonkey says:

yeah and her dad is ok with it

    • Tiana says:

Yes… and on the back of her shirt there it was…… cllear as day…. the BRA

    • Just Beachy says:

No, she didn’t. There was a lot of hype about it, but you can see the performance on Youtube. If you* (*=and I’m using the word “you” as a general term) still think she “pole danced”, then you* are incredibly naive. I hate having to jump to the defense of the girl, but what she did was NOT pole dancing.

Seriously, anyone who thinks it was has no idea what POLE DANCING actually is…

    • superchuckholly says:

No, actually, she didn’t. Every goddamn picture from it where the article is trying to say she was dancing like a stripper, has the exact same shot. That’s because it was the only moment in the whole dance where it looked like it.

  4. landl says:

    She’s a 21 year old trapped in a 16 year old body.

    • Neinna says:

21, trapped in a 16 year old boy’s body, singing ability of a frightened chihuahua, and mentallity of none.

But guess who Disney still thinks is fun and pretty?

      • Mr.Death says:

        Guess who agrees with Disney?

        uhhh…nobody?

Oh, I’m terribly sorry, the answer is pre-teens.

        • Crazy Dog Kennel says:

Im sure Disney are the ones making her do this, anyone remember the subliminal messages in the old animated movies? Now the sexual messages can be blatant

          • Meg-Meg says:

            Subliminal messages? 0.o

            • Mac says:

Good ol’ VHS with the “happy bishop” and eerily phallic shaped castle tower.

              • gnome says:

Check snopes’ disney section to look up these. Some aren’t what people think they are… some are genuine animator pranks. None are any sexual agenda on Disney’s part.

                Miley? Draw your own conclusions.

                • Thank you! says:

You are correct sir for busting their perverted Disney myths. The sightings of “SEX” are infact “SFX” as a running gag among the Sound Effects (FX) crew and if you configure what the Little Mermaid’s priest’s body should look like under his outfit, you’ll find that it makes much more sense that his buckling knees are bent under the fabric and nothing is perking up. As for the tower, that is strictly subjective to those with dirty minds.

                  • aller says:

what about the naked lady in the rescuers one scene? there’s no way to go about that one..

                    • ? says:

I’ve never seen Rescuers. (btw, the first or second? I think I saw the one with the big eagle) Can you prove it with a screen cap and that it’s not someone in peach coloured clothing? Or explain the offense factor in it. For instance; if it was shown in a painting at a rear view like a Greek art piece, but partially blocked by the shoulder of a character, I don’t see the problem because it would make it insightful décor for the character who owns the picture and nothing offensive is seen.

                    • ? says:

I just found the rumor on snopes and so I’m sorry that I can’t delete the extensive reply I made before this one.

While I obviously can’t deny the frames of the topless lady in Rescuers (which must be “subliminal” to anyone who didn’t know about them and were seeking them out) all I have to say is that it either proves to be one instance of marketting strategy to recall an item, making people curious to buy it, or it shows whatever gaul Disney has to admit the controversial frames before many people even knew of them and to put effort into undoing the damage. One option shows that Disney can have strange ways of profitting while the other shows that they make mistakes that other companies could make as well. It comes down to how you view Disney in the first place.

              • jbeeze says:

Bahahahaha! Oh those were the good ol’ days… I miss the subliminal messaging. It was much more clever.

          • paws4thot says:

If you remember them, they weren’t subliminal messages.

        • Fatz says:

Nope. A lot of pre-teens think that she sux…..

  5. elinimoomundoot says:

Dang that song was rubbish anyways.

  6. Bernard says:

It’s gonna be a good harvest this year. (Nod to South Park)

  7. hotrods4ben says:

THIS would make her more interesting.

  8. Anonymous says:

Kinda want. Not really sure. I mean, by the time I get to her, the std count would be through the roof.

  9. peekaboo says:

note how the two girls in front are looking at her face…while the girl behind her is completely eye raping her.

  10. yummydownonit says:

She DOES have nice legs… gotta give her that.

  11. lolcat says:

I hope her next career move is devicebondage.com …that would be dreamy.

  12. Quorl says:

Yes, this is exactly the role model I will want my future kids to have, no doubt about it.

But in the meantime, I’d better keep this picture away from my 7-year-old cousin until she grows out of her Hannah Montana phase.

    • Aaron says:

she is so good with the kids. In her television show, Hannah Montana, she tells kids that it’s OKAY to pretend to be somebody else that’s better than who you really are in order to become more popular, which is exactly what she is doing…..

  13. borokid says:

    role model fail!

  14. Shelby says:

Notice how every girl in this picture looks almost the same.

  15. Criskit says:

She’s like 16 right? I DEFINATELY want my future 16 year olds dancing on a pole like white trash.

    Certainly a role model FAIL.

    • Maranwe says:

Actually, kids need someone like her. If they always look at rich people and people with good taste, clothing, houses, etc., how will they ever feel like even at their lowest that they’re still better than someone?

      I lost the game.

  16. Dhesyca says:

In the magazine I saw this picture in, Miley Cyrus said it was a “tribute to Britney Spears” whom she looks up to….I mean, haven’t enough people called her the next Britney WITHOUT her having to practically anounce it? It’s obvious, honey…I’m still waiting for you to have your breakdown.

  17. Joey says:

Who’s that singer in the background?

  18. spazatron says:

    W…T…F

  19. The saddest thing about this picture is the looks of admiration those girls are giving her.

    • Kate says:

*sigh* Boy is THAT ever right.

I still don’t get it…Annie Leibowitz pictures: Shocking, horrific, abusive and “ewwwww….dirty”

This: Okay, and worthy of a standing ovation from Daddy.

      *blegh*

  20. Not only did this performance feature a stripper pole. It also included:
    -Panties-as-shorts
    -A prop mobile home
-A standong ovation from Billy Ray
-Miley Cyrus’s actual voice (I think. If not, her voice editors must suck.)

    • Annoyed by 12 says:

I think that maybe edited. And I don’t think its the editors fault. its just there is not much you can do with that voice.

  21. haha says:

    she kinda hot…

    • Luna says:

^ comment fail. its either your really shallow or your head is full of bricks. how the hell is that piece of Trailer trash even remotely attractive?!!?

  22. Bryonia says:

She was starting to act pretty trashy, but I think Daddy and Disney have forced her to straighten up..for now. Probably will last until November 23, 2010. After which we’ll see more of this.

  23. Marekatt says:

Scary to see all those teens trying to look like her. Really. Like “Brave New World”-scary.

  24. Sarcasmotron says:

    Aww… that’s cute… You think she’s going to have a career after Disney…

  25. Caroline says:

All the Miley clones in the background are kind of creepy…

  26. Ever heard of Flirty Girl fitness training?

  27. Mina says:

What a great role model for little girls, tweens, teens, prepubescents, adolescents and anyone Ive missed who are aspiring to be strippers!

  28. The_Mighty_Douche_Hunter says:

Queen of Douche has finally found something that fits her.

  29. Jackadoobie says:

Some women find their sexuality powerful and empowering. I personally have no problem with prostitutes and strippers that went into it willingly. If sexuality is not empowering to you then fine. Why do the rest of us have to hide what makes us feel good because you think it’s all horrible?

Anyway have any of you guys watched the actual video? For the most part the pole is there so she does not fall over and she is just holding on to it while singing. As for the outfits. Have you seen the way girls that age dress? It’s nothing too different than they would wear on a hot day. I wore itty bitty shorts when i was a teenager too!

    • Annoyed by 12 says:

Defending her is not such a good idea. I don’t see why you would want someone in the public eye to be pole dancing on national television. She is someone that 7 year olds emulate and idolize. That is not someone that I would want my child to follow.

    • Criskit says:

I am 24 and am allowed to be expoloring that part of myself. If I want to take pole dancing classes, fine and dandy. But she is 16. 16. 16.16. Her attire is entirely inappropriate for her age bracket and her dancing is way too suggestive.
The reason girls at 16 (hell even 12 year olds) dress that way is because of stars like her. She is also the reason for eating disorders and low self esteem. Not saying that all girls should weigh 200 pounds and like it, but she gives them a skewed image of how girls that age should look and dress because not all of them can (or should) be a size zero with a pushup bra and daisy dukes.
And just because you dressed like that at 16 does not make it appropriate honey…that says more about your upbringing than anything else.

    • Shelby says:

Yeah, I have seen how girls my age dress. Only trampy girls dress in shorts like that. It’s disgusting and inappropriate!

It is NOT okay to be wearing shorts that barely cover your ass cheeks. Whores, sluts, tramps.

      • Shelby says:

Also, another thing I hate is people saying, “Oh! All girls dress like this!”

No! No no no no no!
Girls with self-respect do NOT dress like that.
Girls with self-esteem do NOT dress like that.
Girls who don’t want to be sitting in a trailer park with a baby or two living on child support do NOT dress like that.

  30. penguin_man says:

Am I the only one who noticed the one girl looking at her rear?

  31. Mizzgmw says:

why do the girls in the bg look VERY interested?

  32. Scmoe says:

    Ain’t that America?
    Teenage tarts.
    Ain’t that America?
    Screwing old farts.
    Ain’t that America?
Little pink floozies for you an’ me.
    -apologies to J. Mellancamp

  33. muepsilongamma says:

oh my god she’s sixteen years old!
    this is illegal!!

  34. RSIxidor says:

She did not pole dance. She put her arm on a pole for like thirty seconds. This whole topic is ridiculous.

  35. liloaktree says:

Remember, girls, it’s *cool* to be sexploited by people with more money, years, and clothes on than you.
    *barf*
Is it just me or has gender politics taken a step back lately?

  36. hot show from miley cyrus.

  37. Duncan says:

So they are implying that Miley is on the road to becoming a pole dancer. That would be funny because right now she’s supposed to be a positive role model for young girls! So funny.

  38. swimfreak says:

    shes mine back off hoes!!!!

  39. utahsexyswimmer says:

    sexy can i bang that!!!!

  40. Shelby says:

God, this makes me so angry! D:<

Personally, I think we should just get rid of Disney altogether. They've fallen out of the innocent cartoon stage and let trampy girls in with no talent and horrible acting in shows that are almost all alike. Wizards of whatever-place is just a rip off of Sabrina the teenage which, minus a cat.

Nickolodeon seems like a lost cause as well.

  41. ?!? says:

lol, lets get crazayyy! (one of her songs.) i guess she is.

  42. Jake says:

anyone notice that all of her fans look identical?

  43. Patrifica says:

Thats not really fair. She’s young and if you act like a young person’s destined for trouble, then its gonna happen. not cool.

  44. Sarison352 says:

    o_o …
I NEED BRAIN BLEACH!!!1! *Runs to Engrishfunny.com to find some*

  45. Ian_McBride says:

16 year old girl dreaming of a life groping for spare change on the Vegas Strip. (oooh, PUN!!)

  46. Video Poster says:

Her whole act. Bad quality. Shame on you, uploader!

  47. Marzy P says:

I heart Miley. For the simple reason that she is a bit of a little Hoe xD
She isnt behaving like a disney girl should, and too right =] x

  48. Vast says:

    GENIUS!!!
that was just the first word that pop’d in my head when i saw that caption.
    GENIUS!!!

  49. Wolfy says:

OH LOLOLOLOLOOOOOLOLLLO I seroiusly cracked up when i saw it! heheheh. well i guess its pole dancer or crack head! cough (lindsey lohan)

  50. Nicole says:

*sigh* Looks like Disney got another one…

But what I’m REALLY upset about is that her dad isn’t taking charge of his daughter’s life. She obviously looks up to him…notice that most trashy girls these days just have really crappy parents. Lindsay Lohan, for example…her mom’s a partier hoping to share in her daughter’s fame.

  51. Blanka says:

Well at least she got the body for it, it good to start off young with that. Im sure her dad will be a big supporter. And she obviously doing good promoting herself…no worries for a marketer.

  52. Sunglassez_r_my_disgizw says:

She was pitchy or flat through the entire song, then did a slutty move on a pole (cant call it a dance). people cheered along with her extremely talented dad as if she actually gave a good performance. Makes me wonder.

  53. DAvE says:

The part I find the scariest is that all the girls behind her look about the same.

  54. Sunira says:

    Her voice…is killing me…

  55. ferrell says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA I HATE HER!!!

  56. iloveluci says:

miley cyrus used to be an innocent flower… till she pole danced and officialy became an idiot

  57. iloveluci says:

    So did Lindsay and Paris.

  58. theFail says:

She has no career after Disney! xD

  59. RayneJade says:

how are parents letting their young children listen to a girl who’s dancing on a pole in a skirt that short and tight????

  60. Savannah says:

LOOK! Miley Cyrus look-alikes! It’s like a clone army! Every head for the hills! O.O

  61. why_do_you_care says:

yeah… i wondered why there were only girls in the back ground… still dunno why thought. she just CAN’T have that many fans around her own age

  62. stupidddd says:

Goshh.. cuz thats what every disney star should do. ride around on a pole at a KIDS choice awad thing in SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORTS. like seriously. besides her voice is annoying.. and so is her acting. YUCK.

  63. I can’t see why the critics don’t love miley’s newest song – I think it is wonderful.

  64. dokidoki says:

theres a girl in the background oggling her . . .
