First!
The data is laughing at you.
Failure refers to the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success. Product failure ranges from failure to sell the product to fracture of the product, in the worst cases leading to personal injury, the province of forensic engineering.
The criteria for failure are heavily dependent on context of use, and may be relative to a particular observer or belief system. A situation considered to be a failure by one might be considered a success by another, particularly in cases of direct competition or a zero-sum game. Similarly, the degree of success or failure in a situation may be differently viewed by distinct observers or participants, such that a situation that one considers to be a failure, another might consider to be a success, a qualified success or a neutral situation.
It may also be difficult or impossible to ascertain whether a situation meets criteria for failure or success due to ambiguous or ill-defined definition of those criteria. Finding useful and effective criteria, or heuristics, to judge the success or failure of a situation may itself be a significant task.
Although equally, sometimes failure is easy to diagnose, as, for example, when you invoke the Ordinal Post rule.
Kudos for the item choice Tytoon.
I need some help. My dad’s obsession with star trek is unhealthy. He bought the complete Dvd set, action figures, a medical book on trekkie critters, and a full size pinball machine. Any help?
btw, wat happened to I can has cheesburger? And my icon? Cheeseburger is all weird now and a random cartoon is my icon. Please help me fix.

I DON”T WANT NO GYM BUDDY!!!!
oh wow now data can laugh wooow
nice lol. and i rly mean lol. rofl. =D
What I never understood was the continuity issue with Data’s emotion chip. Wasn’t it under the finger in the TNG episodes? Why did they move it to his head? I mean seriously, it’s not a small issue… anyone that enjoyed the series KNEW the damn thing went under his fingernail…
Oh, and I lol’d!
If I remember correctly..there may be episode where they explain that they had to upgrade it by moving it to his head or something…I not sure. Funny caption though. =D
Oh, my God….
Is…. Is that……….
A FUNNY CAPTION?!
Praise Jesus!
ZOMG!
It’s Mr. Tricorder!
Data is by far my favorite Star Trek character EVER.
This.
Good Data never laugh for stupidity but to show he had a emotion like human.
One of the best Star Trek scenes ever.
What a nice smile from cyborg.
He’s not a cyborg. Data is an android. Cyborgs are part CYBernetic, part ORGanic.
Actually, it’s the morons who don’t enjoy Star Trek.
Word to that! I knew who Spock was when I was six…and i never could understand what was so damn fascinating about MacGyver. So he could rig stuff up using chewing gum and a paper clip. Big deal. Anyone could do that if they use their heads.
Now…sorting out the moral and ethical implications of allowing oneself to succumb to using the power of Q (as Riker did in one episode)…THAT takes brains, IMO! So it’s impossible for an intellectually challenged person to be into Star Trek.
Yep, it takes an open mind to appreciate all the shades of gray ST offered up that mirrors a lot of the social issues we’re faced with. I’m fairly certain the people who don’t like Trek are the ones who desire to have the story be clearly defined as to who are the good guys and who are the bad guys and who need a good explosion every episode.
I consider myself to have an open mind, and have to say, as far as sci-fi goes, Star Trek is one of the least complex options out there, with far less shades of grey, and a far less confrontational stance with regards to today’s socio-political situations, than many other sci-fi programmes.
LOL that is awsome luv the caption! XD
Brent Spiner seriously creeped me out when he smiled in that role. OMG Data’s smiling. The universe is in peril. That sort of stuff.
Isn’t that Lore?
There’s emotion chip, emotion chipper, and emotion chippest.
And then there’s plain creepy.
