Lurch rocks!!!
LURCH! I <3 Lurch!!! =D
to the harpsichord!
Let’s all do The Lurch!
He would be called a “manny” now days!!
(giggle) I’d like to meet the person who would DARE call him that to his face
See, this is what I like to see – classic Addams Family. Wednesday is not a psycho goth freak who wants to kill Pugsley. They love each other and support each other and sometimes include Lurch in their antics.
Whoever remade Addams Family with those ugly actors and horrible character writing needs to shot. They aren’t a gothic, violent family. They just embrace the darker side of the world while continuing to live like a normal family (as normal as they can be).
As written/played in the films Wednesday was not psychotic; sociopathic possibly, but not psychotic.
And there’s some question as to whether or not Pugsley can killed, just like as to whether or not Morticia has legs (source Anjelica Houston rathe than Caroline Jones)…
The threat still looms from Wednesday! o.o
Another pet peeve: Why can’t Lurch seem to talk in the new movies/TV show? D:
Carel Struycken’s voice was too ordinary and rather than screw around with it in postproduction, they just had him go speechless. Creepier that way I thought.
??? Wednesday and Pugsley both played death-game tricks on each other in the show. Those movies were a fricking masterpiece, especially as regards casting; the second film with Wednesday coming out of the Happy Hut and trying to smile was absolutely PRICELESS. And David Krumholtz saying “you’re the strangest woman I’ve ever met,” oh GOD the funny. Just because they embrace the darker side of things does not mean they don’t love and adore one another beyond all else. You really didn’t see what I saw in those films, especially the second one. The sequel is ALL about love conquering every challenge. No joke!!
take that mary poppins! wait dosnt she have magic? or was it that ugly one nanny mcfee or sumthin hmmmm?
I approve.
I wouldn’t mind having him for an extra set of hands. Lord knows I could use the help.
As for the movie, I kinda liked Raul Julia as Gomez. Sexy.
That is insulting.
LURCH IS NOT A NANNY. D:<
THANK YOU!!!
he was a butler!
Actually, since he did the jobs of butler, nanny, corrier, and bellhop, he was really more of a manservant…
Perhaps a ‘gentleman’s gentleman,’ like Bunter. Only bigger. A *lot* bigger.
As Lurch would say: “OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
that’s one tough nanny.
YOU RANG?
