      Ummm… woo hoo?

This isn’t ICHC – Nobody cares here.

    • paws4thot says:

UFO is a British television science fiction series created by Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson and produced by the Anderson’s and Lew Grade’s Century 21 Productions for Grade’s ITC Entertainment company. The Andersons had previously made a number of very successful marionette-based children’s science fiction series including Stingray, Thunderbirds, and Captain Scarlet. They had also made one live-action science fiction movie, Doppelgänger, also known as Journey to the Far Side of the Sun, and now felt ready to move into live-action television and aim at a more adult market.

UFO was the Andersons’ first totally live-action TV series. Despite the assumption of many TV station executives, the series was not aimed at children, but deliberately sought an older audience; many episodes featured adult themes such as adultery, divorce, and drug use. Most of the cast were newcomers to Century 21 although star Ed Bishop had previously worked with the Andersons as a voice actor on Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons.

UFO first aired in the UK in 1970 and in US syndication over the next two years. In all, 26 episodes, including the pilot, were filmed over the course of more than a year, with a five-month production break caused by the ultimate closure of the MGM-British Studios in Borehamwood, where the show was initially made.

An idiosyncrasy of the series is that the term “UFO” is pronounced as a word (“you-foh”), as suggested by the real-world originator of the term Edward J. Ruppelt, and not as the more common “you-eff-oh”. This is particularly true of the lead character, Ed Straker. Technically speaking the series title should properly be pronounced “you-foh” as well. However, the “you-foh” pronunciation was not consistently applied and some supporting characters use the now more common form.

Lead actors Ed Bishop and Michael Billington died in June 2005, within five days of each other.

  4. sns21274 says:

    Well,he sparkles,he’s thin,and looks like a girl,so…

  5. Nia says:

Gosh, Miley sure does have hairy arms

  6. minsk says:

Who doesn’t want to be a Disney Princess?

  7. Ex-Princess says:

Meh. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. I mean, with the missing footware, and poisoned fruit, and the vicious family in-fighting all the live-long day… I’m glad I’m out of that gig!

  8. maijken says:

hell, you already look like one.. lol

  9. Bad Kitty says:

oh, comeon you guys, maybe that pic doesnt show it well but he IS attractive. :)

  10. Vader says:

    He isn’t?

  11. Jordan says:

Oh, look. He’s curling his hair after washing it..for the first time.

  12. Twilighthater says:

I hate robert pattinson. And is it just me or does he look a bit high? Bella is a whiner in the book, and the movie is so retarded i couldn’t stop laughing through it.

    • Damaris says:

Nah, he does look high a lot of the time. That said, Kristen Stewart looks even worse a lot of the time >.<

    • Miss Fit says:

What I find funny is the fact that you hated the book, but still went to the movies (or vica versa – whatever). Look, I understand it if you did it for the lulz (nothing more fun than watch 12-year-olds getting hysterical over a movie screen), but well, y’know, ranting about it on the internet is another thing. I just don’t understand why everyone gets so worked up over it – fine, the books/movies suck. Cool. We get it. Fine, the books/movies don’t suck. OK. We *get* it.

And besides that, ‘hating’ is such a strong word. You don’t even know the guy personally. ‘Hating’ him kinda makes you seem just as obsessed as the retard-fans.

…Nothing personal, by the way. You’re not the only one here, just unfortunate enough I guess.

    • anon amous says:

      THANK YOU!!!!!!

  13. Crystal Kyuuketsuki says:

I think he’s trying to ward off fangirls by dressing like that.

  14. Tajiu says:

I don’t get why there is such a hype about him being ‘the sexiest man alive’. He’s butt ugly and he looks like a scarecrow =\

    I’m a girl, btw =\

    • Crystal Kyuuketsuki says:

      At least he’s an Anti.

You’re probably not a hoodie-wearing 13 year old who bites her friends with uber plastic fangs is all.

    • zim8pi says:

Yes, I totally agree. He isn’t very attractive, but I don’t know about the scarecrow thing… From what I have heard and read about him he is really into drugs. I’m a girl too, so I see where you are coming from. My friends are Twilight obsessed. It drives me NUTS!!!

  15. Squiggly says:

If he were a Disney princess the sparkling would make more sense…

  16. Phoenixgirl918 says:

I’m not gonna lie, I did enjoy the first book in the Twilight series, but then they made the movie, and then she wrote more books, and honestly it just killed it for me. Squealy fangirls pretending to be sparkly vampires really just put a damper on the book. I think I preferred the “let’s pretend to be wizards” fan craze…

  17. KaBooM says:

It could also say, “I wish I had an ounce of talent.”

  18. dizzy says:

I don’t care what’s on top of his head or how bad his movies are – he’s hot!

Why do I think this? Look at some interviews with him – he’s honest, funny, and refreshingly humble. NOM.

    • sally says:

Like it’s this dude’s fault the kids are annoying!
He’s hardly more than a big kid, but he is a hot one.
He may turn out to be a serious actor.
      Lordy he’s cute, though. :)
(I am too close to his Mom’s age to say that, I think!)

    • anon amous says:

along with being disgustingly filthy, extremly strange and pretty retarded.

  19. Bulbachu says:

Hated the books.. hated the movie even worse (I saw bootleg, wasn’t going to pay a cent for it.)

I’m a gay man. That man, right there, is ugly as hell. He looks like all the stoners in my community that are always high, so they don’t have time to shave, clean, and look better.. Which sums him up, for better words.

    Girls like him?! Ew!

    • blueeyedqueen says:

you’re just jealous that you don’t sparkle the way he does

      • TL10 says:

Are you kidding?! Look at the picture! Everybody would flee from that THING!

        • blueeyedqueen says:

I actually don’t find Robert Pattinson attractive, but I always seem to have a thing for his characters (who do manage to be more clean cut than he is himself) but he isn’t hideous, and while this picture isn’t his greatest, you’re wrong, not everybody would flee from that “thing”.

I’m not sure what he’s wearing on his head but besides that and the hippie hair, I kinda like his scruffy, stoner look.

  20. Natalie says:

I kissed a guy, and i liked it!!!!

  21. Erica :) says:

Silly Robert, You already ARE a Disney princess. Well, not exactly…
You’re the best in Beauty ad The Beast. BEFORE his transformation.

  22. maijken says:

that dipstick is NEVER, i repeat, NEVER attractive

  23. Moriarty says:

and i wish my eyeball would come back

  24. MJules says:

Is it the lighting or do his cheeks match his shirt lol

  25. Sari says:

Kellan Lutz makes a better princess than Robert.

  26. BBQchipz says:

Oh snap is that an Alice headband?

  27. Lo says:

    Close enough…
