It’s probably more nerdy that I have to correct you on this, but… everyone might as well know anyway.
Morgoth was evil, for sure, but he just wanted to destroy everything. Period. Sauron, however, tricked his master, Morgoth, into giving him higher status and strength, enslaved an entire race of elves and made them into Orcs, and wanted to control all of Middle Earth with an iron fist for the next eternity.
Sauron = EVIL
