And then there are the people who deserve none of their fame, who are commercially engineered to succeed without an ounce of actual skill or personality (Miley Cyrus comes to mind). But at the bottom of the celebrity hierarchy are those who get famous from having sex tapes. I mean — seriously? (Okay, there’s no Perez Hilton sex tape — THANK GOD — but he does make a career blogging about stuff like that.)

I have to point out that these days, poor people in America eat plenty of food (if you’re really poor, then you have access to food stamp programs), but they just eat a whole lot of crap because crap is cheap and good food is expensive.
Eh, it’s more like they don’t have time/energy/know-how/desire to make proper food, because it’s a LOT cheaper to buy ‘real’ food and make meals than to buy prepackaged stuff. I’ve switched from primarily prepacked/frozen meals to making my own because of this
Your one of the few people who agree with me! I live in ky and I seen on t.v. that most people spend about 150 or more a week on groceries, most ppl here spend 250 to 30 an entire month on groceries, that’s all they got, and their not doing it by buying all organic foods, mac n cheese and cheeto’s! But there’s less people here with a weight problem than other places i’ve been. Almost all the jobs here are manual labor, and people have huge gardens they work and so on, most ppl here (not me *cringe*) cook with lard, and they all live to be over a 100, so who’s doing it wrong… really?
