Some seriously disturbed individuals on here leaving comments… Will never understand the hatred for Madonna. It’s one thing to not be a fan of somebody. But c’mon! You people are completely missing the point. Nobody can still be this famous and successful without talent to back it up- NOBODY. Millions of fans around the world would not still be shelling out $100 and more a ticket to see some washed-up, old hag! Madonna is one of the greatest female stars EVER- l ike it or not. She can do whatever she wants- if you don’t like it- simply don’t look at her. She has created some of the most amazing videos and songs of the last quarter century- and has influenced most of the female singers today. And as for the british accent- are you really that stupid? Anybody who moves to another place will slowly pick up an accent- it happens to everybody. Geez! Idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t care for what she has become, I think she is badly advised and doesn’t do herself any favours, however, I loved the songs of her early years and her portrayal of Eva Peron in the film adaptation of Evita was superb.

I’m more offended by the people who think what she does is perfectly fine. She ruined a generation of daughters but won’t allow her children to watch television because it’s “trashy”? Flagrant promiscuity? Yes, and not only in her youth. Just look at this picture (and there are many other examples to be found). Also, excellent singing and dancing, not so much. Average, yes. I do think she’s an expert at reinventing herself, but then again, she had to in order to stay popular for this long. And as for her being an author and an actress… She tried. She tried her best, but let’s face it, the books were only briefly popular because her name was on the cover, and the acting was plain bad. She’s just trying to do what many other artists are doing when their music isn’t selling as much as it used to before free downloading: spreading her chances of accumulating more money.

I would love to spend time with Madonna, and so would any one of you hypocrites. Madonna has done more in any year of her adult life than the rest of you will ever do. Madonna embraced flagrant promiscuity in her youth but grew into quite the well-rounded woman, becomming an author and an actress on top of her excellent singing and dancing. If you want to pick on someone, perhaps you should figure out if you are worthy to cast stones at people who DO in life rather than just blindly post.
