I do wish they’d do away with the dumb titles they stick up now.
Cute caption though.
2nd
i hear it’s actually called the abdominal thrust these days.
But does it drive you in-sa-a-aaaane?
It’s abdominal thrust if you’re doing Red Cross. The name Heimlich belongs to someone else, so they can’t call it that. I think the hand positions for Heimlich/abdominal thrust are slightly different.
Mike Myers?
Yeah, that’s the name of the character from Halloween.
Thank You, Captain Obvious.
Is it me or does the girl look like Keira Knightley?
yeah, she does…
Lol. It’s always funny, when English speakers use German words. Heimlich = auricularly, backdoor, clandestine, clandestinely, covert, cryptic(al), furtive, lurking, on the q.t./Q.T., privily, secret, sneaking, stealth(il)y, surreptitious, thievishly, underhand.
I thought it was somebody’s name. Like, er, the guy who invented it?
MURDER. What a humorous concept.
This is the stupidest thing I have seen on here.
Then clearly you didn’t see the Lucille Ball LOLame.
Oh yeah I did but I just think gratuitous (sp?) violence pretty much sucks. I know some people dig this slasher stuff but I have to shake my head and wonder WHY?
It’s named after Henry Heimlich, not the word
She wet herself.
You’re doing IT wrong. Seriously, WTF?
Or maybe it was a comment on how murder is wrong?
Then it goes from not only being not very funny to being flat out preachy. Down with preachy LOLs!
(Seriously, though. It’s the most common phrase on these websites. You’d think it’d be a no brainer to get right.)
Ya, really… Direct object FAIL!
why yOU LITTLE…!
manoeuvre – you spelt it wrong.
You’re doing “You’re doing it wrong” wrong.
Heimlich Counter-manouver (see portal) applied IRL… And they still say it wasn’t succesfull
LOL
the “heimlich maneuver” is (or was) a life-saving maneuver when someone was suffocationing.
the name comes from the inventor of this maneuver, look it up on wikipedia
Michael Myers = EPIC WIN
disturbing image no matter the caption.
