Dr. Seuss has that too. A lot of it. I’m sorry it’s not sold at Fangirls R Us or wherever you shop…
And I don’t think I can think of anything to say to that “one of the best movies of all time” comment.
ATTENTION: The previous post is a prime example of a Twitard. I don’t hate everyone who reads/likes Twilight (in fact, many of my best friends do), but people like this piss me off. If you are going to defend it, at least learn to speak/type in proper English. And come up with good defenses.

I don’t like the Twilight series because, while reading them to explain to my wife, in detail, why it sucks, it caused me real *physical* pain attempting to suspend my disbelief long enough to digest a pedophile-stalker-vampire-bully and a self destructive-obsessive-naive-halfwit.

I don’t normally read in the bathroom but I had to reading Twilight. Not because I felt I had to vomit. More like I had to because it made me want to move my bowels.

Shakespeare has plenty to offer in regard to “real morals”. His stuff is definitely worth reading. I’d say writing in iambic pentameter is harder than rhyming.

Besides, we still use the words Shakespeare made up, while Seuss’ inventions are silly and not uttered outside of his own stories.

That’s not to say that Dr. Seuss should be forgotten. His material is awesome, just in a different way.

Sorry to reply to a troll-like statement but here goes.

1. Moses is very likely a fictional character (like many possibly an amalgam of many other famous Jewish Slave Rebellion Leaders.) His so called books were likely written by others. (His so called 10 commandments are not “rules handed down to man by God” but are simply basic rules for survival of an upcoming community (and also for survival in the Desert)
2. The Bible CANNOT be simply thought of as one book as it was added to by many different authors, a couple of hundred years after “the birth of christ”, over the course of several hundred years (even the same book of the Bible can have several authors)

Everyone noticed, I think. But I still love the books because I grew up with them and count it as the thing that I can really remember waiting for the release (I apologize for the awkward phrasing, but I tried several ways and nothing worked).

Besides, it’s still better to have /sane/ published fanfiction, cop-out that it may be, than to have the crazy insane crack-fic that I’m told the Twilight books have become. Can you imagine crack-fic of something that’s already as messed up a Twilight?

I agree that Dr. Seuss isn’t exactly the best example of what the captioner was trying to say, but I felt the need to defend Dr. Seuss. Every comparison that everyone has been making is actually ridiculous. Twilight isn’t really the same type of book as any of the examples. Even comparing Meyer to Stoker isn’t accurate because “Twilight” is just a teensoap in book form. With. . . non-blood-sucking, sparkly vampires.
