It’s way past the celebrity gossip stage, making big-time national news. The biggest sports star in the world today getting caught cheating on his wife, reportedly with more than a dozen women now, advertisers who paid ridiculous amounts of money who now can’t use him, this is a pretty big deal.

Ok, for you that don’t know what happened to tiger, I will explain (I could be wrong so correct me via replies)
tiger’s driving out of his driveway, hits a tree, his wife beats in the windows of the car, he later comes out to the press and says he cheated on his wife with one woman, 11 other women come out and say that he had sex with them to, he then loses most of his endorsments.

My question would have to be: since when is being a good athlete a mirror of morality? The two have nothing to do with each other.
That’s my question! Last time I checked, most athletes are NOT models of morality… I know that’s how he supposedly presented himself to the world, but I don’t recall Tiger ever saying he should be held up as the moral compass of the sports world. He just did the smart thing and kept his private life private (until a bunch of $$ grubbing ho’s decided they needed to get paid – thus becoming prostitutes. And no, I do noth think he was right in what he did, but I DO think it is a matter between him and his wife, not the rest of the world.)
I agree, the rest of us don’t need to know every little detail. I got sick of hearing about it every ten minutes on the news.
The only way in which I care one way or the other about this is that I’m now going to be deprived of the pleasure of watching him play golf for the foreseeable future!
If I hit a tree in his neighborhood only Lawyers would fall out to sue me. Guess that is better than what happened to him. How did they make that jump, hit a tree=cheating on wife?
The media is asking themselves how this kept silent and private. I think they knew but kept it quiet because of him. Then when he hits a tree it became free game to screw with him…WTF!!!!
