The Cure are marvelous. However, this was when Robert was pretty. Robert is no longer particularly pretty [link]. Note that this does not change the fact he’s a terrific musician and songwriter; he just REALLY needs to start thinking about a new look.

Robert Smith has always insisted he was not goth. It is the little Wannabe HOT TOPIC POSERS that labeled him. His music is great,
Sure, and Siouxsie and Sisters Of Mercy denied being goth too, but they weren’t fooling anyone, just trying to avoid a label they didn’t like. The Cure has definitely evolved into something else, but their roots and especially their fan base is definitely goth.
Well.. maby The cure is not Goth, and he is not. Still, he inspierd goths to look like him, and most of us love his music. And teh cure os one of teh gratest bands ever.

Robert Smith is a god. Lullaby, Why Can’t I Be You?, The Love Cats, and Close To Me are some of the best Cure songs ever… next to the obvious ones.

i think Robert Smith is still hot! he’s definately the hottest man in my book! and if you have heard ALL the cure’s music you would know that it’s not goth..listen to all their albums and then come back and tell me that the cure is goth..jesus christ people just seem to get more and more ridiculous.
