    First.

  2. KaBooM says:

Fat chicks and there jealousy. *sigh* You could have a nicer body if you just put the damn fork down…

    • janet says:

At least the title gets it right.

    • george says:

you do realize that sometimes its genetic, or caused by some sort of illness, etc etc.

plus, id rather have a sexy hourglass than be a stick of gum any day ;D

      • orly says:

It’s genetic in one case of more than a hundred. And if you listen to the fat slobs themselves, you could think that 99% of the fat people inherited the bad genes.

        • James says:

I have to say that one of my favorite kind of knee-jerk, stereotypical comments is the “fat ppl are lazy and stupid!” comment. Thanks for fulfilling your destiny.

          • Dawn says:

It’s lazy and stupid to make negative generalizations of people and spout it off as fact. No different than making such generalizations based on race.

        • george says:

rephrasing- do you know how many americans are on antidepressants of any kind?

do you know just how much weight antidepressants make you gain no matter what your diet and exercise is like, and its hard as HELL to lose that weight, even after getting off of said antidepressants?

im not talking about 500pound people, or even anything over 200 pounds. but still, id rather be in the mid hundreds than be 80 pounds and sickly looking like the girl on the left.

          • 142978 says:

How is it better to call a thin, beautiful woman “sickly” than to call an average-sized, beautiful woman “fat?”

            • Crystal says:

Average doesn’t necessarily mean healthy anymore, unfortunately.

And yes, there is a “fat” gene. But it’s not soley responsible for people being fat – that’s the work of the bad eating choices and their sedentary lifestyles. Nor should people blame medication or illnesses. I know many people with hypothyroidism who are very slim… how? They exercise and watch what they eat.

And yeah, I’m on anti-depressants. It’s tough. But I’m eating correctly and going to the gym 30-60 minutes every day, and I’m slim.

Yeah, sure. Some people are fat because of factors beyond their control, but that’s a very small percentage. People need to get over themselves and their whole “I don’t need to conform to your unrealistic body images – I love my ‘curves’. I’m a real woman”. Yeah, you don’t need to look like a stick because that’s unhealthy too but you do need to lose weight because you are a misshapen lump of adipose tissue. Basically you’re fat, which is a huge risk factor for a wide range of chronic health conditions.

So to the overweight people out there: quit whinging, and do something about it!

              • Alex says:

Having hypothyroidism and watching what you eat is really, really hard. Exercising? Yeah, works, you have to do a lot of it. Watching what you eat? That comment is really seriously laughable.

“So to the overweight people out there: quit whinging, and do something about it!”

Actually I see a lot of thin people whining about fat people. If it’s not your body, please shut up and get over it.

                • reijfhiosfhd says:

no hes right if you cant eat properly and work out at least 30-60 minutes you deserve to be over weight and be at risk for health problems

                  • Crystal says:

She, but thanks for the support. :)

And yeah, as a medical student, I think I can say that I do know quite a bit about medical conditions. And yes, it is incredibly hard! But I know of several people (including family members) who are extremely successful in this regard. I’ve had Hashimoto’s and my blood tests indicate that I will develop hypothyroidism in the future, so I’ve also done some further research and had extra education in this area.

Also: as someone who is going to have to cope with the effects of everyone’s obesity as a doctor, then no, I’m not going to shut up and get over it. I don’t actually enjoy sitting back and watching people destroy their health.

                  • Meg says:

So I guess working people are all fat then? Not everyone can eat healthy all the time. What about working parents, the poor, college students on limited income?

                    • Crystal says:

I cope just fine, as a uni student with pretty much no money. Eating healthily and exercising regularly does not have to be expensive.

                • Crystal says:

Oh and the whinging part was directed at the fat people who make excuses and blame everything and everyone but themselves for their weight.

                  • Lee says:

Again with the “whinging”? Oh my… what kind of med student spells the word “whining” wrong, TWICE!? How did you even get into medical school in the first place?

I fear for all the fatties who may one day have an unfortunate office visit this future doctor who once HAD (not present tense) an obscure, *incurable* disease and cannot spell simple words and thinks all fat people are lazy…may you all enjoy your Phentermine. Or Phengtermine, since apparently the new cool thing is sticking random G’s where they don’t belong.

                    • Beard says:

whinging is a word, it means people who whinge. It’s like nagging, but more whiney.

Also, i’d be happy to visit any doctor who has shared in and successfully overcome troubles i am suffering from. Also, whether it is incurable or not, had/have is a pretty simple typo to make and as you said, it’s an obscure condition.

At the end of the day she seems to be making more sense than anyone else combined. Fat people are VERY rarely victims, they all have the power to overcome their “condition” and as for working people being fat because they cant exercise or eat healthy… well, you can. Lets face it. Eating fruit and veg isn’t expensive (my student years were spent living a vegan lifestyle) and exercise is always free – unless you insist of spending money for the privilege of running on the spot in a gym. As for myself i’ve been thin, fat and am now thinning up again and very successfully, just through watching what i eat and exercising (and still working in an office).

Seriously, blame-culture gets nobody anywhere. It’s not someone elses fault.

                    • Britt says:

She said “I’ve had hashimotos” not “I HAD”. Meaning she’s had it for a while and still does. So you’re actually calling her out on your own lack of reading skills. Nice try though. And she’s right if you ask me.

          • hai guyz says:

I´ve been on 4 or 5 types of antidepressants, none of which made me gain weight. Seriously people, drop the wheat and oil… I’ts better for your physical and mental health.

    • Nathreee says:

Oh, yes mr Kaboom you’re so right, fat chicks eat all day and that’s why they are fat and if they would just put the fork down they would magically become photoshopped goddesses like Tyra and you never make spelling errors.

    • Cat says:

They’re not THAT bad, however I think they could use a bit of weight training and put on a few pounds of muscle and they would really look healthier. I use to be one of those fat chicks, now I’m training to do Fitness competitions, personally I think Fitness Models are probably the best image for young girls. As for the fat chick themselves, I don’t think it’s really jealousy as much as the lack of motivation to eat clean and exercise.

      • Nathreee says:

Because everyone is just like you and so if they just exercise and change their eating, they’ll be fit like you. Everyone who is fat just eats too much and doesn’t exercise, that’s the whole problem!

        • Cat says:

If you did a bit of research on obesity you would see that only a very limited amount of cases are due to genetics or medical conditions. You can check out the Wikipedia page on obesity, it pretty much sums it up. Anyway, no mater the situation, clean eating and exercise is not a bad thing. What matters is if you are truly happy with yourself, not just trying to convince yourself that you are. As for the eating habits, I didn’t say eat too much, I said eat clean. A woman that eats only 1 meal a day but eats junk will be worst off than a woman that eats 5 clean meals every day. Anyway, I use to be overweight so I’m not being hateful here, I won’t throw the first stone. I was simply expressing the fact that if society insists on having thin women as role models, they should at least be FIT. Oh and by the way, excuse the spelling mistakes, I’m french speaking.

        • Beard says:

          Yes. Yes it is.

    • Your Straight Jacket Has Arrived says:

There’s no diet in the world that can make me taller. There’s more to healthy body image than weight. “Fat chicks” as you put it don’t have a healthier body image, but neither do normal or thin chicks usually. It’s up to the individual to decide they want to accept themselves and be as healthy as they can be. Who cares if I don’t look like one of these clothes hangers and living mannequins? I certainly wouldn’t want to look like the chick on the left. Let’s hear it for boobies!

      • Crystal says:

Just because “fat chicks” are happy with themselves, doesn’t mean they are physically healthy (neither are the underweight sticks). That’s the cold, hard truth of the matter, but people are determined to ignore it. The issue isn’t all about a healthy body image, but also about the health of your body!!!

    • Yuri says:

I just put the fork down and nothing happened… should I pick it back up?

    • Alex says:

Agreed with this. And men, there are way too many fat men. I like tall skinny gangly guys. Any guy over 150lbs is a fatass.

      • Meg says:

It is funny you said that – I see an awful lot of fat guys. But we women are supposed to starve ourselves skinny?

        Double standard much?

  3. You says:

Wow. They photoshopped the hell out of Tyra’s neck.

  4. Crystallia says:

    This looks shopped.

  5. KD says:

Of course it’s shopped. No one — NO ONE — has skin that flawlessly smooth. That’s not jealousy, that’s a fact.

    • Otto says:

While this one is ‘shopped, frequently I see photos of this nature where they simply used clever lighting and makeup to achieve the same basic effect. Often that’s easier and more real looking than shopping it after the fact.

      • KD says:

That’s part of the point, isn’t it? You have to either photoshop it or use “clever” lighting and makeup to make someone look that good. Meaning no one ever actually does look that good.

And actually I don’t think they look that good in this photo. Their heads look too big for their bodies — especially for their necks.

      • orly says:

Photoshopping is a million times easier than making the skin look smooth on camera without post-editing. Photos are being fixed after every photoshoot anyway.

  6. Mitch says:

I wonder, when the aliens come to Earth, will they see them first and think they landed back home?

  7. Emily :) says:

omg you guys, Tyra wore a fat suit for a day once. She knows what it’s like, you’re all just hating.

  8. sara says:

Caption fail!! They are MODELS and aside from too much makeup they look great. Need a role model for your kids, look in the mirror!

  9. Prikolist says:

Ok their skin was smoothed with photoshop as always, but there’s nothing wrong with their bodies. How does this stuff get to frontpage, seriously?

    • WorldsTallestMidget says:

Caridee English is God-awful skinny. Now I cannot say for sure that she does anything unnatural to manipulate her weight (like the general stereotype of most models), but I can say that when the media portrays 80-lb. women as the standard of beauty, then that causes problems with young girls who then feel incredibly bad about themselves.
Having said that, Tyra Banks is HOT! Especially when she has that bubble butt in a bathing suit!

      • this is getting old says:

you have to be over 5’8 to be a successful model. a person over 5’8 at 80 lbs would die of starvation or heart failure.

        FAIL.

  10. Melissa says:

    They look healthy to me.

    • WorldsTallestMidget says:

Tyra looks thin, but healthy. Caridee English looks like one of those emaciated horses the ASPCA confiscates on “Animal Rescue.”

  11. PghBruce says:

You know, women are stupid. For years, I’ve heard how they get these unhealthy images and starve themselves because they are ashamed they don’t look like the models. Yet, as a boy, I watched NFL games and was not ashamed that my football skills were not as good as the professionals I watched. I went out and played and had fun anyway.

Girls, women everywhere: if you look like a model, great. If you don’t, don’t worry about it. Do you really think that we guys will only date a women who is model-pretty. We will date any woman who will have us! Stop basing your self-esteem on how you measure up to the top 1%!

    • allan says:

Speak for yourself, some of us have standards.

    • orly says:

No we won’t. We want models !

    • KD says:

I have never met a guy who really believes this. He might say it to make his female friends feel better, but when it comes time to pick one to date he doesn’t go for the plainer ones. I’m not saying guys are shallow, it’s natural.

      • The Amazing Rando says:

My wife doesn’t have a model’s body. And you know what? She’s beautiful and sexy and I don’t think she needs to look like Tyra Banks to be that way. If all guys went for models, most of us wouldn’t be married since there aren’t that many models out there.

      • WorldsTallestMidget says:

I like some meat on the bones myself. Give me Sarah Rue, Meghan Mullally, or Sarah Ramirez (Callie from “Grey’s Anatomy”). YUMMY!!!

      • Alex says:

I’m fairly average, or even sometimes mousy and bland (makeup is awesome, by the way) and I’ve dated a lot of really, super hot guys, and it blows my mind each time. But then I remember how awesome I am. Apparently guys like really cool chicks, appearance doesn’t matter so much.

(Same goes for me, I’ll date a dog if he’s at least an awesome or rich dog. It has to balance out somehow.)

      • Meg says:

Oh really? I think you are. My mother was no model and my father was married to her for 35 years until she died last year. You’re incredibly shallow.

    • Cat says:

Of course men will only want thin, big breasted, not too smart women. It’s in your nature! Plus men are just as bad as women but for you it’s your virility, muscle mass and the size of your ***. Why do you think there are so many viagra-type stuff out there and why most of the junk mail is miracle pills to enlarge your thing! Wink ;) Women are not stupid, they just want to be pleasing to men… this is a situation that will never go away, through the ages there have always been trends and images that women had to conform to, nothing new with what’s going on now a days.

    • Rayne says:

Shallow men do exsist in the world too.

It would be nice if they all felt the way you do,but thy don’t.

Now,I’m not fat or anything, but I had a guy tell me that I would be hotter if I lost 15 pounds.(Why does that matter so much?Seriously?)
But I’ve also had guys stare me up and down. Soooo…not all men are the same, and thats why alot of women feel the way they do.They have one guy, that has no right to bring anyone down, tell them that they aren’t good enough just because they don’t wear a size 1.And for some reason, they let that ruin their life.

And even women have “too high” standards,so I’m not just bashing guys here.

      • Alex says:

If some guy expects you, or anyone, to look like a model – and won’t have you if you don’t, he’s a piece of crap and not worth your time anyway. If he’s ugly and wants you to look like a model – no words necessary to describe that situation. If he’s gorgeous, at least he’s dating on his level – he’s probably an idiot or has rage issues, etc etc.

Why do people spend so much time fussing over whether everyone will like them or not? If someone does not like you, for any, little stupid insignificant reason or another, just move on. There will be someone else who does like you. There will be MULTIPLE, dare I say, many people who like you. You just have to stop wasting your time fretting over the losers who don’t.

It’s like high school – you go through all this trouble to make the worst people like you.

    • Meg says:

You’re the one that’s stupid, to insult us like that. I’m a woman and I don’t care what you or society says. I stay fit to live a longer, healthier life, not so some stupid guy will lust over me. I am not an object. The guy I have likes me for me, not just my body. I’m a geek and he loves it.

  12. mogoly says:

    Envy, you’re doing it right.

  13. marisol says:

why is one set sagging and the other is perfectly upright.are the black boobs different then white or what i need help finding this out somebody write me back answer my question.

  14. 0816 says:

Too bad I’m ugly, no means can cure that. Tyra looks great, but that blonde trick has something strange about her. Like her laxatives just kicked in. I don’t know.

    • Dez says:

the photoshoot is always right after the model is announced in americas next top model so blondie was probably crying her eyes out on the way to the shoot.

  15. Dina says:

    lol seriously?

    • RussianTim says:

It does not take that much work to have the body type that those women have.

      • Alex says:

It really doesn’t. Just stop eating for about six months, in fact you don’t even have to cook dinner anymore or go out to eat – it’s LESS work than normal. Anorexia works for everyone! You might hit a plateau once you’re around 100lbs, but keep at it and you, too, could weigh 80lbs.

  16. Dina says:

This should be the Jennifer Hawkins Marie Claire “body image” shoot y/y

  17. Susie says:

People love to hate Tyra. It’s really really really really sad. This picture is so incredibly NOT funny. Not even offensive; just the LAMEST attempt at making fun of Tyra and models I’ve ever seen.

    • WorldsTallestMidget says:

I don’t like her because of her looks. I don’t like her because she could be the most self-centered person to ever host a talk show.

Even more that Morton Downey, Jr!

  18. Rents says:

I think that you just have to watch what you eat. I live in a little European country where there are almost no obese people – reason is very simple, Mc Donalds and stuff like that is expensive here. Happy meal costs about 6 dollars here, minimum wage is 3 dollars per hour and for 6 dollars I can cook a big healthy meal for me, my husband and my friend (although he usually does a cooking in our house). Or I can go to a normal restaraunt and eat a normal meal, which isn’t stuffed with fat and then decorated with sugar and more fat – and I can still get both meal and drink for that 6 dollars.

The other thing – when I went to USA this spring I discovered that your big mac is much bigger than our big mac. :D And since everything tasted a bit greasy, I started reading information on the packages and it turns out that even bread consists more salt and fat in USA. If you want normal food, it’s more expensive – at least this was my experience.

But I agree with the guy before who told that about 1 percent of fat people is fat because some kind of disease or “bad genes”, lot of people are just lazy. I don’t mind fat people and I don’t even mind lazy people (although I would not date a fat guy, because being fat means that probably he is not going to come snowboarding with me – or cycling, or swimming, or to take a nice 2 hour walk with my dog), but I do mind hypocrites. If you are fat and don’t do anything about it, there’s no need to whine. And if you do something about it – well, then there’s also no reason to whine, because chances are that things are starting to get better soon.

My friend who went to USA as exchange student, gained almost 10 kg (= about 22 pounds) with one semester and she claims that she didn’t really change her eating traditions – but on the second semester, when she started to look what’s inside the food she is buying, she lost it again with no trouble.

    • DC says:

On the bright side, fast food does seem to be getting more expensive over here. Can’t say I agree with taxing the hell out of it and “junk” food, though… and I wish normal food were cheaper. Sigh.

  19. penguin_man says:

    Nice lighting effect!

  20. Waaaaaaaaa says:

How come guys don’t whine about how much better looking other guys are? Seeing as being a fat pig will kill you and having bodies like those can make you rich and live longer….what’s this crap about “healthy”?
They both look mighty damn healthy to me :D

  21. Jae says:

Yes. Because striving for a tone, healthy body is a sickness.

  22. Mike says:

I love how such a phrase has never been uttered by a woman under 200lbs. Every time I hear “This is what a woman is supposed to look like” its coming from some land whale and spoken through a mouthful of oreos.

  23. Anto says:

Real woman should have a bit of fat… i don’t say a looot… but a bit, just to smooth the angles, like the hip or the ribs. Beautiful girls have REAL facial features, without crap like the botox, etc. I’m a girl, so i can see that small things. A lot of people miss the small -but of course not least- things just ‘cos they say “Oh look, that girl has big boobs” instead of “Oh look, that girl is very nice”.

Sorry 4 my bad english ;)

  24. GonnaFryForThis says:

Hahahaha. This is rich. Models starve themselves. Honestly, they do. It’s standards and practices for the industry. The major fashion designers won’t touch your ass if you’re over 110 pounds. And don’t you dare have over a B cup either, they just don’t make their clothes that big. The fashion industry is one of the worst in positive body image.

    • Rents says:

Sure they do, but at least Tyra looks just fine on this picture (if we don’t count her neck, which looks like it’s done by drunk photoshop guy) and the other girl doesn’t seem to be starving to death also.

      • Alex says:

They photoshop out all the jutting clavicles and how many ribs you can count, also the hair your body starts to grow when it’s starving and any discoloration of the skin.

Tyra is still photoshopped in this photo. Yes, she is pretty in real life, and rather slim, but she does not look like this on a daily basis. And that girl on the left? Look at how big her head is compared to her ribcage.

I know they try to hide what goes on behind the scenes in the modeling industry, but anyone with any sort of healthy curiosity at all can find out what sort of “diets” the models go on, which is typically something like 200 calories a day. They eat as much in a week as a normal person eats in a day.

    • RussianTim says:

My wife weighs 110. She has never starved herself. She just eats healthy and does physical work both at home and on the job.

      • Lucis says:

While I’m not sure how much they weigh, It’s less than 110 or over 110 and they got photoshopped to hell.

        • 142978 says:

Who only takes girls under 110?

Since they publicly weigh the girls on several seasons of ANTM, it’s not really a secret that they weigh more than 110… from what I remember, mostly they’re in the 115-135 range, at 5’9″-6′.

Obviously not an example of high fashion, but Victoria’s Secret tends to employ size 4 models, which isn’t outrageous or unhealthy.

      • tlalli says:

Height is also a major factor. And bone structure. And body shape… And the list just goes on and on.

The issue with most models is that they are in the close to 6 foot range and only weigh around 100 pounds, which is seriously underweight. you should never be able to count a girls ribs while she is slouching forward, nor should you be able to see her joints in detail. Which you can with many of those poor things.

        • Alex says:

A lot of people forget that even 130lbs on a 6ft tall girl is still underweight.

          • 142978 says:

Barely. 135 is about the cut-off point for six feet.

Most people’s weight fluctuates around five pounds in any given day, and that’s not really an amount of weight that you’d notice someone gain, either.

  25. Travis says:

I love how all the ugly/fat women on the internet get pissed off when skinny, beautiful (or as they would say anorexic and airbrushed) women are actually considered appealing. Maybe its not that healthy being super skinny but at least they aren’t wasting ungodly amounts of food to feed themselves. I mean being 250 lbs. isn’t even close to healthy either plus you’re wasting food that could go to people who actually are starving.

    • tlalli says:

I love how everyone automatically assumes it’s a fat chick who put this up.
Also, If she’s barfing it back up, that’s wasting food.

Oh and for god’s sakes people, skinny or fat, a woman can be beautiful or unattractive either way. She can be a size two and have a face like a boiled horse, or be size 20 and look like the work of the angels.

      • Anto says:

OMG, i love you! I totally agree with you… I mean, mi cousin weights 230 lbs aprox. and she is really beautiful, but her sister isn’t, an she is skinny…

        Go real beauty, go!

  26. Jo says:

It’s called genetics… and photoshop. Tyra has a 25-inch waist compared to her bigger boobs and hips. This gives her the hourglass, which in this picture is accentuated by her corset-like top. It’s tight in the middle, so the boobage has nowhere to go but out. (And then they got rid of her neck.)

Caridee is tall and skinny, which gets her the jobs. Then photoshop does the rest.

People are different shapes and different weights — not ALL models are starving. Most of them are — it is true that if you go to a pro runway show, the models rarely visit the food table. But some of them are genetic wonders. You can be naturally 5″11 and skinny.

Personally I blame all the gay designers who made the in-look be chicks who look like young men, instead of like Marilyn Monroe.

    • Anto says:

A lot of people says that gay designers envy girls body, soooo they “torture” them.

BTW, yep, they can be that skinny in a genetical way, but only if they have the metabolism of a rabid hummingbird

    • tlalli says:

I believe the look they are going for is a coat rack. Perhaps breaking out the dress forms again guys?

  27. Rayne says:

They don’t look THAT skinny…I don’t see bones sticking out…

But then again, all pro photos are airbrushed. But I know Tyra isn’t a stick figure, shes perfectly healthy looking.

Plus…girls look better with the hourglass shape, just my opinion.

  28. NVG says:

normal=women (and men) should neither be too skinny nor too fat.
ideal=we should all weigh according to the body mass index.
reality=there are a whole lot of fat people who shouldn’t be eating a lot and a whole lot of thin people who should get what the fatties are eating.

    Genetics? Heredity?
    What about willpower?

  29. Zib says:

WAH WAH WAH FAT SKINNY FAT SKINNY. If someone wants to be really skinny, who cares. If someone chooses to be fat, who the hell cares.

But okay, lets all QQ about what people we don’t know and will never know do with themselves. That’s cool too.

  30. Kaeli says:

I prefer fat guys. I want bear hugs, and lots to cuddle against.

  31. pbean says:

OMG IM SUCH A JEALOUS FAT WOMAN OMG.

Oh no.. I’m just a normal guy who thinks these two “women” are UGLY as hell. Especially the left one, she NOT HEALTHY. SKINNY, maybe to some beautiful, but NOT HEALTHY.

    Thank you for your time.

  32. Crystal says:

I think Tyra looks great, except for her neck. Was the photoshopper drunk when he retouched that? Her head looks like it’s about to fall off.

Other than that, she looks fit and toned. Not underweight. What’s wrong with wanting to be healthy and look fit and toned?

  33. josh says:

my whole issue with this endless debate is people saying that “oh this is what the media expects women/girls to look like”. No it isn’t. It’s what the media/fashion industry expects MODELS to look like. If you’re not a model, eat whatever you want, and quit whining about how models look. We all know that regular women don’t look like supermodels. We get it. That is why they are supermodels, and regular women aren’t.

    • 142978 says:

When was Seventeen publishing this? I can only imagine the last example you gave was a story about body image, so picturing a thin girl fretting about her waist size seems perfectly reasonable, IMO.

Ten, fifteen years ago they were actually really great about body image and showing diverse sizes. In fact I remember seeing bigger girls throughout the magazine, not just in their reader profiles or makeover stories, and that was long before this current trend of plus-sized spreads began.

    • Karen says:

That’s horrible! Even ANTM showed them rejecting a girl because her thighs DIDN’T touch.

  34. cheewowwa says:

except for shes really cool. She managed to get this far with a skin disease

  35. hai guyz says:

Maybe you should move away from USA. In most places, that actually IS normal. Yeah, I’m 110 pounds and eat quite a lot. Then again, I don’t only feed on burgers, pasta, french fries and soda.

  36. Spaceman says:

does tyra banks have any nudes?

  37. Anonymous says:

I don’t really see how that’s not healthy body image….They look fine. I’m not loving the “social commentary” captions….Bring on the funny! >:(

  38. Anonymous says:

Yeah, because all these “ew ur 2 skinny go eat a cheesburger lyke omg!” and pictures of bigger women with captions like “if men wanted to date a woman with the body of a 10 year old boy, he’d date the 10 year old boy” and “real women have curves” are CERTAINLY giving skinny girls a “healthy body image”…comments like that don’t make girls feel bad at ALL *sacrasm* Oh wait, it’s only bigger girls with body image issues, right? I wish this crap would end….having a certain body size doesn’t make anyone “better” than anyone else.

I want to know why it’s okay..or wh people think it’s okay.. to call thin women “disgusting” and “anorexic” and “not real women”…but it’s considered rude and shallow if you call a bigger person “fat”. Isn’t it rude to make mean comments on ANYONE’S size when you don’t know their situation?

  39. Anonymous says:

All this fat wank makes me rage. Being embarrassed in public by my aunt for being 150 pounds was bad enough. :|

  40. DC says:

Seriously, why don’t we just ban “lol anorexic” macros here from now on? It’s the same old thing over and over and OVER again.

  41. Malexhe says:

Both of them look perfectly fine to me. You want to see truly unhealthy bodies? Google anorexia nervosa, and then morbid obesity.

  42. vic says:

America – 95% FAT!!! Hence all the hate towards really beautiful slim women. If you wobble when you walk, YOU ARE FAT!!!! Get over it and stop shovelling food in your gob

  43. pav says:

This is normal.. All the fat Americans have distorted what NORMAL people look like. And yes I am American. People are supposed to be skinny.

    • billy b. says:

people don’t need to be skinny, but they need to be healthy. sometimes skinny isn’t healthy.
regardless of what’s healthy, some people are just more fortunate than others when it comes to good looks; there are hot skinny, average, curvy, and overweight girls.

    • Peaches says:

      I agree 100%.

  44. this is getting old says:

attempting to make a public statement that is new and different – you’re doing it wrong.

  45. YaleGirl5023 says:

Okay, so if I look like this, I’ll never find a man because they all like a jiggly roll or two to hang onto during sex?
That’s actually quite pitiful, that so many men would be so like-minded and trendy.
In the meantime, I’ll go watch Celebrity Fit Club and laugh at all the whales who I’ll outlive.

  46. Peaches says:

OMG, so if thin people are ugly, then what was Audrey Hepburn?!?!?! Gorgeous was what she was, just like these two. Y’all stop hating on every not-fat woman you see just because she got her picture taken and you didn’t.

  47. Kasey says:

Being fat does not make you “real”.

    It means you’re fat.

Just accept the fact that some people are naturally tall and slender and get over yourself.

  48. Phil says:

The problem is that these people, while grossly underweight, are still PHOTOSHOPPED to look even skinnier. This would be a great poster — for an anime.

  49. Jake says:

Thank you for sharing this. Well done!

  50. ashe says:

    they look fine to me.

  51. Mandi says:

…..its sayin that basically young girls will get a bad self image of themselves because these pictures are photo shopped, and kids think this is real…..AND ITS NOT!!! it wouldnt matter if it was two fat chicks or two stick thin chicks…..either way over or under weight is unhealthy!
and yes….any size you are, you are still beautiful, and dont let someone tell you different….anyone who does is just feelin bad about how they look and have to hurt others to feel better…..thats called being touched in the head!!……laugh it off…..

  52. Mandi says:

YaleGirl5023………—– you must be a real treat to be around..someone with that attitude never gets far in life. some people take what you say seriously and kill themselves….how sick and twisted can your head be??? that you have to insult millions of people??
