In retrospect, Taylor Swift should be thanking Kanye. You can’t buy that kind of publicity and she’s been able to ride the pity for months. Otherwise she’d just be another saccharine sweet, mildly talented pop/country star catering to the teen market.

It was sort of an accident, Steven Moffat said. They planned on getting an older actor, but when Matt Smith came in to audition he just blew everyone away and they hired him. That gives me hope that he’s gonna be really good.

Oh it’s so true, Taylor Swift has only gained popularity after that award ceremony because of what Kanye did. Her songs are basically about highschool, despite being what… 20 already? You can only be a ‘teen’ star for so long. Her voice isn’t bad, but she most certainly didn’t deserve a lot of the awards people are throwing at her, or the attention. She ought to be thanking Kanye for being such a moron.
