Yeah, actually, there is. This is one half of a magazine cover (“People”, I think), and the three male “Friends” were on the other side of the foldout holding the other end of the rope. Mystery solved, no whoring involved.

Yes, because their lack of clothes for a silly photoshoot warrants them to be a called a derogatory name. The three of them are far from being “whores” in Hollywood terms.
You can’t judge a book by its cover and you can’t judge a persons character by their wardrobe, especially if that wardrobe is part of a stupid photo shoot.
And as far as puns go, it’s not that clever.

I can’t believe that people are taking the show Friends so seriously that they feel the need to defend the people in it. I’m sure all three of these ladies have moved on and have left Friends in the past. Granted, this lol isn’t funny, but good God, get a life!

Don’t get me wrong – I love Friends: the tv sitcom that is – as opposed to Friends the dogma a lot of people on here appear to be adhering to.
