i’ve always considered giving anyone the ASL sign for “i love you” backwards to be the equivalent of the middle finger. i tend to give it to people who nearly hit me while i’m crossing the street with my walker *shakes cane*

Maybe she’s in the middle of the universal hand gesture (her hand is little blurry). You know, start with the horns; then extend the thumb and turn the hand palm outward in the ILY sign; then drop the index finger, moving the hand downward with a “J”-like flip at the end, palm ending slightly inward in the shaka sign.
