    Kinda mean.

  2. BigBrownEyes101 says:

so u soppourt some1 who is putting it in little kid’s heads that its ok to dance, dress, and act like a tramp? wow ok then….

    • CPM says:

Yeah, singing and dancing for the most part a very moral life style of a 16-18 year old girl. I suppose you’d rather have your kids listen to a television preacher or a talking mouse?

    • jasonx says:

Suddenly I have “Footloose” stuck in my head.

    • Kristen says:

So then its fine to insult young girls and shoot down their self-esteem by calling them trash/trampy on the internet so that they end up trying to find love by having teenage sex or throwing up their food, before they are even mature enough to make their own judgements? Alright then. As long as we’re clear.

      • peepers says:

        Kristen.

        You’re an idiot.

        As long as we’re clear.

      • Kristen is a ho says:

now go on the corner and make my money ho you trashy tramp you are a fat ass so go throw up and loose all that flab.

      • wykked says:

She did a pole dance at a kids’ award show. She is acting like a tramp and he parents ought to be ashamed of themselves for allowing it.

      • Notahexagon says:

It’s fine to insult celebrities. Practically the definition of a celebrity is a person who puts their life on display for the world to comment on. If you can make this worth people’s while, by playing music, acting in movies, or any of a hundred other things that people want to observe, you’re rewarded with fame and money. If people don’t like what they see, then they tell you so. That’s the risk you take. If Miley Cyrus wanted her privacy respected she shouldn’t have become a singer. As it is, she’s a fair target. If she ever deserved the money and benefits she’s gained from her career thus far, then she’ll deal with it, either by enduring or by changing what people see so they like it or by getting out while she can. But if she can’t handle the pressure, then she should never have been on TV.
I don’t think this is a stupid point to raise. It would be totally valid if she were some ordinary person. But she isn’t. She’s a public figure, and she has to deal with the consequences of that life.
And incidentally, I’ve been mature enough to make my own decisions since I was about 15. Most people I know were definitely mature enough to take the consequences for their actions long before they were Miley Cyrus’ age.

  3. RedRobin says:

Please get off her case – pretty please with salsa on it. I promise to knock of the Jolie jokes if you leave Miley alone.

  4. forge says:

What the frick is this crap. This is a nice kid who’s trying to make her way in the entertainment business. You want content-free crap that’s being shoved at us as if it were the greatest thing since whatever the frick, please see Selena Gomez.

    • forge a potato up your ass says:

miley cyrus is a untalented loser and a ho. stop whining about people talking about smiley virus since your whining isn’t stopping anything. if people want to talk about this talentless piece of garbage they will. get over it.

      • Why? says:

Same troll throughout this whole post, but at least you figured out how to change your e-mail to get a different icon so you can “be someone else”, so at least you’re not a TOTAL dumbass like we all thought.

      • Forge says:

Five. You’re five? Seven tops? What’s gonna happen when Mommy finds out you’re using her laptop for posting nasty insults on the Internet, honey?

  5. Eminem is King says:

I don’t like Miley Cyrus. I don’t think she has much talent at all, and I think she is very over-rated, and I think she is just plain trampy. That being said, I don’t think it’s all her fault. She entered Hollywood at a very youg, impressionable age and all that jazz. But honestly, even I can’t deny that she’s gorgeous. She’s quite a beautiful young girl. It’s a shame that she isn’t a terrific role-model.

    • Seph says:

I agree. Shes very pretty but shes not a very good role model. I believe the reason she acts out (pole dancing, not wearing underware and a short dress, etc) is because shes trying to lose her disney image. (cutesy and stuff.) but why? I used to like her, now I cant stand her. at all.

  6. Abby says:

Awkward and shouldn’t ever have a camera in her hand? Sure. But trashy? Hell no.

Leaving out anything about talent, if you want to talk about trashy in the music industry, talk about Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, Beyonce, Shakira….and the list goes on. Shaking your ass on stage? Yes, creative license. But the worst I’ve seen Miley Cyrus do is dance around a pole. (sort of). Until she flashes people with legs spread getting out of a car, or has a nip-slip on stage, or struts around in a barely-there costume, I wouldn’t call her trashy.

    IMHO

    • KissKiss says:

Im not a very bib miley fan, but i have to agree with you. Im reading all these comments and all i really hear is the black and white of the situation, no gray in the middle. Shes is a nice girl, but she was put into a risk oriented buisness when she probably wasnt ready.

When you think about it htough, thats the girl’s role model in this decade. Wemon “must” show off their bodies to be popular. I find that very sad. And the way these young girls, i see, act and dress is mostly caused from a few things ive noticed.
      1. Media, and how everyone is portrayed as the perfect person, if they “show themselves off” is some way or another.
      2. The lack of parental influence and/or discipline from said parent.

Im not trying to down anyone, but kids, and even adults in some cases, get off to easliy with the things they do. Its a chain reaction. As the next generations come the discipline level just seems to drop. Im not liking it, but the only thing i can do is raise my children right.
Thats all i have to day on this matter.

      • wykked says:

What exactly makes her a nice girl? Flashing a pretty little smile? How about attacking (verbally, that is) one of the other disney girls (can’t remember which, they’re all basically the same) with her friend and posting it on Youtube? Or her white t-shirt in the shower pictures? Or throwing a tantrum because she got a slightly used BMW for her 16th birthday? What has she done that makes her so damn nice? Not saying she’s a bad person necessarily, but she is trampy, and I DO NOT get this “Nice girl” business some of you people are touting.

    • katie says:

to be honest , its disney that makes her do this

  7. village idiot says:

And …..she hasn’t turned into a drug-head, alcholic or teen-mom like so many teen idols. Cut her some slack and grow up yourselves. If you don’tcare for her brand of talent, don’t watch or listen to her. You only have license to criticize when you are able to do better and can prove it, which I sincerely doubt her critics have the ability. If you want to criticize someone onher behalf……. sic your venom on her untalented, scruffy dad who had pushed her into show business.

    • global village guy says:

You’re right with the “scruffy dad” – part, I mean, look at how many stars have been pushed into their place by others e.g. Michael Jackson. His father even drew a hell of money from his death!
I must admit that I haven’t seen Miley Cyrus yet, and I think I won’t.
But my nieces kinda love her and until they’re happy with her and don’t take that girl too serious – what is there to care about?

    • David says:

      She hasn’t turned into a drug-head YET…

And you don’t have to be able to do better to criticize something. Although honestly, most people COULD do better.

    • Yoballs says:

No she hasn’t…yet. She’s what? 17. Give it time

  8. paulc says:

bet all you Miley haters get up and dance to it when it comes on though… hypocrites…

  9. Shaun says:

not that I like Miley Cyrus, but there are certainly far worse things in the US than her.

  10. pine says:

The worst part about Miley is the effect she has on her 10 year old sister. Its been in the news several times that she’s basically copying her sister and wearing/selling trampy outfits at 10. This is disturbing.

  11. Ugh says:

Smiley Virus is a stupid redneck who can’t sing. Her music is garbage and her videos are garbage too. Just kill the skank.

  12. Get a life people! says:

People need to get a life and stop depending on “role models” to teach their kids how to be decent people. Take some responsibility for your children and stop laying the blame for your kids being screw ups at someone else’s feet.

  13. Paradoxically says:

My five year old cousin was shopping with me in walmart the other day and wanted a pair of short shorts. I asked why, confused, because I don’t remember her parents bringing her up to wear stuff like that. She said it was because Miley Cyrus wore them and she wanted to be “just like miley cyrus!” Dear God, I pray she doesn’t end up like that.

    • jasonx says:

Five-year olds shouldn’t be dressing like 16-year old anyways, whether it be their sister, cousin, or Miley Cyrus. It’s not their job to “dress down” for the kiddies. From your comment it sounds like her parents are doing it right by telling her “No” though.

  14. chelsea says:

Why does it matter it’s a joke on roflrazzi it’s just funny why are you taking it so seriously?

  15. bleh says:

    This is funny.
    Quit arguing over it.

  16. Hakencat says:

    NO U

  17. Hakencat says:

i just KNEW there were gonna be people posting their political views at the mentioning of Amerika!!!

anyways-if there are 2 things i hate from here, it’s capitalism(ignores anyone who overreacts to this) and miley virus

    • jasonx says:

“i just KNEW there were gonna be people posting their political views at the mentioning of Amerika!!!”

Eh, not really. Out of the 60 or so comments, only one came maybe almost sort of close, and it was more of a regional observation rather than the knee-jerk political rant that you were hoping to find.

  18. Julie says:

so, what this appears to me is that some of us still have the same highschool mentality that the popular wealthy girls must be sluts and whore. seriously guys i only graduated 3 years ago and ive let it go. So yes being in the public eye makes you a role model and yes she chose that by pursuing the career she had now, however when it comes to how your 12 year old acts and dresses it is about your parneting skills. my favorite singers growing up were Cher and Madona, so why did i not dress/ act like them: because my MOTHER drug my butt to church every sunday, intill morals to my brain, whopped my butt every once in while and DID NOT BUY ME SLUTTY CLOTHES!!!

  19. Frankie says:

    it’s already trashy.

Miley can’t do anything that hasn’t already been done.

  20. -_- says:

If you don’t like it, you can leave you know.

  21. e. says:

As if there was much left to trash up…

Sorry guys, I love your country, but MTV and VH1 made it trashy years before Miley.

  22. Your Village Called - They want Thier Idiot Back!! says:

To all you sooks that are crying about Miley: I can’t see any of you EVER getting on stage and singing and dancing to save your life. Why run down someone just because they are doing something that you could never even dream of doing?
    Pathetic, child-like jealousy.

    Just grow up!!

  23. Anonymous says:

You guys are hilarious. Take a chill pill

  24. Oh look, a distraction! says:

I think this argument got a little out of hand. Funny though. Soo… anyway…

Hey look! A ninja riding a dinosaur, while having a laser fight with Darth Vader who is standing on top of Godzilla! That will be all.

    • Phoenix says:

      Liar!
Darth Vader doesn’t NEED to use lasers when he has a lightsaber!!
That and he has an extreme connection to the Force, man; laser shuriken are left useless against this…

And I do have to put my two cents in (because this is the internet and what kind of an internet surfer would I be without doing this?).
For all of you who say she’s not “slutty” or “whore-y” must learn the true meaning; when someone says that, they don’t necessarily mean that she’s actually promiscuous, just that she wears or acts like someone who IS promiscuous.
And, given this definition, then by what means is she not “slutty” after she wears such risque clothing, uses her stardom to get children to buy her merchandise (sellouts are known as prostitutes because they’re selling out) which are effectively as slutty as she, and POLE DANCES (for her future career, apparently) in front of a LIVE AUDIENCE OF TWEENS who idiolize her and will do ANYTHING to be like her, and that includes pole dancing. Not only that, but she can’t sing and neo-Disney is one of the most evil corporations in the world and molded her into this.
So, the only way she is not, in fact, ‘slutty’ is if Mickey Mouse physically abuses her and demeans her into submission so that she has no choice but to act like a talentless idiot (i.e. the Way of the Disney Pop Star), I will not consider her anything but.

Though, I will admit this, a bigger insult to any of this is if we just call her a Disney Pop Star. With all the previous Disney Pop Stars, there’s no way it shouldn’t make people instantly think ‘degrading, mindless henchmen of all pure evil in the world.’

  25. Kenny777 says:

she hurt all the metal and country music lovers and her dad too so take you false info and shove it
