  1. teatime of death says:

Ringo’s just like “Oh Hai, I’m stuck behind these to idiots.”

  2. remy says:

    what an awesome photobomb!
I doubt Bieber even knows who he is…

  3. Randomiser says:

Wait, wait, wait! JB was having a photo with that… whoever she is, but didn’t use the opportunity to take a picture with one of the most influential musicians of all time?

  4. Steven says:

I bet some teenager submitted this to Photobomb having no idea who Ringo is and captioning it “weird freaky old man bombs Baby Bieber <333 and ke$ha!"

  5. amanda says:

As if Ringo has talent! “He’s not even the best drummer in the Beatles”

  6. Drazhar says:

Of the three, Ringo Starr I’ve heard about. The other two – I would not know about for the life of me.

  7. WhoCares says:

Who’s more relevant today? Two rising stars who are just hitting their stride, or a tepid drummer who hasn’t done anything in 40 years?

    • peepers says:

Let me fix that for you.

“Who’s more relevant today? Two people no one will remember in 5 years, or the guy who hasn’t stopped making good music since he picked up a drumstick, has made more films than you have brain cells, and is recognized around the world as a superstar?”

Now sit down, shut up and go watch Twilight for the 1000th time.

      • WhoCares says:

“Go watch Twilight” ? Is that what passes as a fifth-grade insult nowadays?

      • Don' Task says:

No, ringo star is a turd. Ke$ha is and will be better than that thing people call ringo. But Lady GaGa is overall the best EVER!

ringo has just sat around for 40 eyars doing nothing. Ke$ha released a singe, than less than a month later, had a full ablum! beat that ringo trudlet.

        • Meh says:

Lady GaGa and Kesha SUCK..Ringo and the Beatles ARE ONE OF THE BEST BANDS EVER

          • kendylmccartney says:

one of??!! THE BEST!!!!!! ringo has over 20 albums!!!!!!!! kesha??? 1 justin beiber??? 2 IN UR FREAKIN FACE KESHA AND JUSTINE

        • Rando the Awesome says:

          This is a joke, right?

        • teatime of death says:

REALLY????! Just because someones music is marketable for speedy release does not mean it’s not a piece of crap. kesha will be forgotten and The Beatles remembered forever.

        • ilvlxrdr2 says:

yeah, too bad she is a bad song write and doesn’t have a voice. ringo, on the other hand….

        • omg says:

you have to be kidding… right?!?

        • Rosie says:

The Beatles recorded a whole album in one day. So Ke$ha (whoever that is) releasing an album in a month isn’t really that big of a deal.

Ringo Starr has released god knows how many solo album and recently the latest ‘Y Not’ came out. He’s also gone on tour many times and worked with other artists since the break up of The Beatles. So yeah sat around for 40 years indeed.

Lady GaGa is has okay music but the best ever is pushing it waayyy to far.

        • SmurfinLennon says:

Let’s not forget that, although you are wrong and Ringo HAS done work in the past 40 years, he’s also about 70 years old. I’d like to see Ke$ha perform and write and sing that long, until she’s in her 60s and 70s.

Let’s be rational here- Ringo is a great legend, The Beatles are the most influential band of all-time, but you can’t judge on what he’s doing now, 40 years after the height of his fame.
          :)

          • LennieFish says:

Speaking of his work in the past 40 years, does anyone knows if he’s getting some people for another All Star’s tour?

        • bribri says:

wow. i’m speachles. don’ task, ur a moron

        • leo says:

          i like ur trolling

        • Cheyenne says:

You do realize that nowadays you release a single a month before your album comes out? It’s been that way for a while now. It probably took them 6 months to computerize her voice.

P.S. The Beatles recorded their first album in 10 hours and I’ll be seeing Ringo Starr this summer in concert, if you call that nothing.

        • thezecaptionsrox says:

you misspelled years by the way, idiot

        • Kaeli McLennon says:

Eyars? What are eyars? Are those like…ears? Ohhh, so that’s what tasteless people call ears! So ears do have a different name for those who have horrible hearing and think worthless popstars are better than legendary rockstars!

Ringo STARR* isn’t a turd. He was part of THE BEATLES. In the year of 1962, The Beatles released 4 singles. The Beatles released “Please Please Me” (14 songs) in March of 1963, along with 8 other singles and the album “With The Beatles” (14 songs) that year. In 1964, 6 singles were released by The Beatles, and then the two albums “A Hard Day’s Night” (phrase of Ringo’s) (13 songs) and “Beatles For Sale” (14 songs). The Beatles released “Help!” (14 songs) in 1965, with 6 singles that year. They also released their album “Rubber Soul” (14 songs) that year. With 4 other singles throughout the year, The Beatles released “Revolver” (14 songs) in the year of 1966. 1967, The Beatles released 6 singles and their album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” (13 songs). 1968 came along, 4 singles were released, and then “The White Album” (30 songs) was released. In 1969, The Beatles released 6 singles, “Yellow Submarine” (13 songs), and “Abbey Road” (17 songs). Finally, in the year of 1970, 2 singles were released, and then a couple of months later, “Let It Be” (12 songs) was released.

That’s only in The Beatles. Don’t get me started on what he did afterwards. But really, Ke$ha’s success can’t even take on Ringo’s success.

What REALLY amuses me though, it that people still listen to The Beatles today, when I was recently reminded of Ke$ha because of this photo.

          Sooo, beat that, Ke$ha Turdlet.

    • Kayley says:

I agree with you. Just because some of the old foggies on the board are resistant to change, doesn’t mean that they should all get passive-aggressive about the fact that there’s a new style of music that’s more popular than theirs.

As a demographer, it is definitely evident to me that Ke$ha and Bieber are having a much greater impact in the present than Ringo is. I didn’t even know who the heck Ringo was until I read the comments. And no, I don’t necessarily like Ke$ha or Bieber either. But, just because I don’t like it, doesn’t mean I should blatantly and rudely criticize others’ tastes just because it opposes mine.

      • peepers says:

You didn’t know who Ringo was?

You were obviously raised under a rock, which explains your stupidity.

        • awesomeness says:

that’s what im thinking, anybody who doesnt know who ringo is was obviously raised under one hell of a rock.

      • Rando the Awesome says:

        Ringo was in the Beatles.
        *crickets chirp*
Rock band? 1960′s? Sold more albums than today’s pop start combined?
        *tumbleweed rolls by*
        Kids today.
By the way, without Ringo and his pals John, George, and Paul, you wouldn’t have today’s pop music, so a nice little thank you to Mr. Starr would be in order.

        • Rando the Awesome says:

          *pop stars
          My bad.

        • Fawfulster says:

Also, you forgot to say that Ringo’s drum skills are awesome!

He can play a solo and you could definetely (?) recognize the song.

          Ex.

          *Ringo plays drums*

Me: OMG! That’s “You’re Gonna Lose That Gril”!

          • Fawfulster says:

*sorry, it was “You’re Gonna Lose That Girl”.

          • SmurfinLennon says:

But Rain has some of Ringo’s absolute best drumming…
            :)

            • Fawfulster says:

Yes. But if you could take away the guitars and bass you could still recognize it as “Rain” and not as “random drum song”.

              • Missingno says:

My personal favorite in the ways of Ringo’s drumming is “Tomorrow Never Knows”. It’s very catchy, it’s peaceful, and it’s fun to simply listen to.

And honestly, I didn’t even recognize Ke$ha in this picture, but Ringo immediately stood out to me from behind Bieber.

        • gow says:

why do some many people fear the next generation, do you know what an app is? seriously ringo had his time dammit

          • teatime of death says:

Many of us ‘fearful of the next generation’ are from that generation, thank you. The Beatles transcend time.

          • Rando the Awesome says:

I’m only 31, dumbass. The Beatles were before my time, but my parents introduced them to me, and I’ve loved their music ever since. I’ve introduced them to my kids now too. And I know what an app is. I’m looking for an app that will kick your ass right now, retard.

            • LennieFish says:

You’re doing better than me darling. I’m only 17 and I’m still not sure what apps are. I’ve only seen one and it was some strange game where the objective was to unroll a roll of toilet paper.
I really should get out of my house more, shouldn’t I? I think I’ll go out right now!

Right after I watch this Star Trek video.

            • Rosefur says:

I’m only twelve, and I was also introduced to the Beatles by my parents. Me and a few of my friends are pretty much the only kids at our school with good taste in music.
And now I kind of obsess over the Beatles.

      • aleeex says:

Kayley, Kesha and Justin Beaver are FADS. they will be forgotten in a few months. they wont make it past 2010.

      • Old Fogerty says:

        You’re a demographer? Like, a professional demographer?
Then this is all your fault anyway.
kesha and bieber are popular (not influential, not influential at all) because they are shoved down the throats of demographics who are easily influenced. They have been supplied with carefully tailored images that help them sell singles. They are not musicians, they are not artists. I doubt either one has actually written a song, though I wouldn’t bet money on that. They are marketing tools, used by record companies to make a profit. Any “influence” they might be said to have, however, is detrimental to music. Their very existence negatively impacts American and world culture, because they show unequivocally that inferior, untalented performers are rewarded more highly than those who have worked and sacrificed for the sake of their music.
Personally, I don’t like Ringo. His drumming is good, but it doesn’t hit me quite right. I’m not even that much of a Beatles fan. But I can still acknowledge his incredible contributions to a band that almost single-handedly created modern music. A band which has sold many times more albums then either of these “pop stars”, and even now, decades after breaking up, continue to sell. A band who wrote and produced excellent music, saturated with real talent. Who used only such studio effects as could enhance their already-good music. A real band, made up of real musicians.
This kesha girl has put out singles that stick in your head. That isn’t necessarily good. There was a girl on America’s Got Talent singing an awful song about she was up in her studio, studio that stuck in my head for hours. It annoyed the hell out of me. This bieber kid…well, I ‘ve heard two of his songs and neither one was good. It’s not that he’s bad. It’s that he’s nothing. He can’t be called a musician, or a singer. He’s just a kid with a good agent.
Incidentally, I’m 18 and apparently as much of an old foggy as anyone on this board. I think you meant fogey, though. And I’m not criticizing these people because their taste opposes mine. I’m criticizing because as long as people like bieber and kesha are making money from the music industry, there is no incentive for real musicians to make quality music. Rock, metal, jazz, blues, even real rap (as done by skilled rappers who write quality lyrics) and all other kinds of music are becoming less economically viable, which limits people’s ability to produce music. Fortunately this trend seems to be fixing itself; people are already turning back to bands made up of real musicians. I’m referring to individuals, mind you; they don’t show up on statistics, because no method of data collection is foolproof, and therefore they are struggling against advertising.
The Beatles have already endured the test of time. They have WON the race. These kids haven’t even lasted the decade, and they haven’t even matched the Beatles’ performance in the short run…they can’t even take any real credit for what little has been accomplished. They’re nothing. They’re just enemies of music, to be shunned and attacked for the good of real music and those who love it.
Yes, that was an unnecessarily long rant. Feel free to write one of your own.

    • kendylmccartney says:

dude u have ABSOLUTLY NO IDEA wat the helk ur talkin bout dont go dissin MY ringo!!!!!!! ABOSOLUTLY NOONE is EVER gonna remmeber ur gay justin beiber or poor chick kesha……EVERYONE WHO IS ANYONE KNOW WHO RINGO STARR IS!!!!!!! and soo wat if he hasent had 1 #1 single since they broke up he is ahmazing U DONT DISS HIM GO DISS UR FREAKIN JUSTIN BEIBER AND KESHA!

  8. Schmoe says:

For the last time, ALL you Ringo bashers out there: you obviously don’t know quality when you hear it. Even Ginger Baker has said of Ringo “He did the right thing for the music.” I heard that from Mr. Baker in person with my own ears. And Buddy Rich (googgle him oh ye of narrow musical experience) has been quoted as saying “Ringo is an adequate drummer, nothing more nothing less.” Finally, there are other drummers who’ve played simple, tasteful parts. Nick Mason is one (surely you’ve heard of Pink Floyd). Why don’t you bash him? And this “who’s the best” drivel has got to stop. Now before you go watch American Idol, (who’s the next flavor of the month) googgle Elvin Jones, Hal Blaine, and Vic Firth and realize how little of music you have experienced. Goodnight and over to you. Peace and Love.

  9. Psilence says:

Honestly, I think The Beatles are a tad overrated.

Don’t get me wrong, though, I can’t stand Ke$ha’s whiny voice, and have never even tried to listen to Justin Beiber. The Beatles are much better than both of them put together, but that’s still not really saying much.

*pulls out fire extinguisher* *prepares to get flamed*

    • Schmoe says:

In a certain perspective, the music can seem that way. From an historical perspective one can see why they are still valued. To get my point, listen to Robert Johnson’s original recording of “Crossroads”(he wrote it) and then listen to the version by Cream (you know, Eric Clapton’s old band). Glad to know that people who are keeping up with the likes of whoever these other two are, are familiar with some of what’s gone before.

    • keirandevlin says:

don’t you mean that you can’t stand Justin Bieber’s whiny voice? :) no but really. He sounds like miley effing cyrus.

  10. Nicolletta says:

Ah yes, one rock legend stuck behind two flash-in-the-pan yahoos no one will remember in five years.

  11. Steph says:

A little sad that he had to be shoved in the background.

    • Morgan says:

Steph – Do you honestly think he was shoved anywhere? I doubt it. Its the angle of the photographer.

Jeez… Oh and I’m sorry but Justin Bieber and Ke$ha have more talent than any of these people here. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean they are untalented. Bieber may be annoying to normal adults, but from a musical perspective he has a pure voice that any choir director would die to have and ke$ha worked hard to get herself to the top by creating her own songs AND her own beat.

I doubt you could do the same.

      • peepers says:

        Someones having their period…

      • Meh says:

They both use frigging computers to make their voice, at least the chick does, the whiny little kid who hasnt hit puberty is a fail, The Beatles were REAL! Something almost no one is these days

      • teatime of death says:

This is a joke right? Bieber has talent? Ke$sha too? More than the drummer for the most influential band of all time? Jeez, you are an idiot. Bieber sounds like my cat hissing, and Ke$ha uses pitch correction to make her sound like she can sing.

      • Pheonixfight says:

lets see, “a voice any choir director woud die for” only if they were desperate for a soprano, and didn’t mind the fact his voice would stick out like a sore thumb. obviously you are not in a choir, or have ever heard a real choir.

  12. bergerton says:

the answer to that question is no he kind of launches them into space on the talent scale

  13. Jay says:

Oh, Ringo. You’re just hilarious. xD

  14. j_beam says:

Ringo was the conductor on Shining Time Station! Duh….

  15. James (epicwin.2010 says:

Umm yea not really. Ke$ha is WAY better than ringo star, justin beiber, eh not teh best but still better. ringo star is ugly and has no talent in my opinion. if you think differently, too bad. ringo star is bad. Ke$ha is good, justin beiber is umm hes okay…

  16. eritz says:

Omg, so tru, starr has more talent in his hand than the other two combined

  17. Ally says:

first i see a pic on here of Paulie photobombing george and 2 fans… now ringo photobombing 2 of my least favorite people in the world?!? YAAAAAAY i always knew there was something i liked about ringo xD

  18. starrison says:

RINGO STARR IS MORE AWESOME THAN THOSE TWO STUPID KIDS COMBINED AND TIMES THE NUMBER OF THEIR FANS.

  19. keithybabes says:

Ringo was the best narrator of Thomas the Tank Engine EVER.

  20. peepers says:

Ringo also starred in Caveman – the best, and most accurate, documentary on life in the prehistoric era.

  21. Beatles_fan1236 says:

    haha go beatles

  22. Amelia says:

    Peace and Love, Ringo.
    Peace and Love. =)

  23. RichMahogany says:

Ringo was just asked “Excuse me Mr Starr, how many talentless hacks in this pic?”

  24. Monika E. says:

I like Lady Gaga AND The Beatles :)

but Ke$ha looks like John Travolta, and that girl next to her was on “The L Word”

  25. Chikadee says:

The “ain’t” ruins the entire thing.

  26. Me says:

haha, ringo looks like he doesn’t even wanna be there.

    • Biggles says:

‘Course he doesn’t. Who would? :P

Gotta love that man. Not a bad drummer at all, he just didn’t play all to complicated stuff, but quite frankly, the drums were always the least important part of the Beatles’ music. And the other guys told him what to play, and he always did it right!

  27. Blargit says:

LOLZ! The captioner thinks Ringo Starr has talent!! He was just the douche the Beatles hired ’cause drum machines weren’t invented yet. :P

  28. SupaKat says:

Call me the freak who lives on Mars, but I’ve like never heard the Beatles’ songs. But from what I’ve heard of Ke$ha and Beiber, they are obviously better, and in terms of Ke$ha, more “family-friendly”.

    • peepers says:

If you’ve never heard a Beatles song, how can you say that kesha and beeber are better?

      Nice job, ignorant AND stupid.

      • Rando the Awesome says:

I think SupaKat might have worded this badly, because I read it as the Beatles are better and more family friendly than Kesha or Bieber. Which would make more sense since it’s true.

        • Qucazoo says:

The only one i can say that isnt family friendly is ‘Why dont we do it in the road’ :D but i think that one is more funny than anything

    • paws4thot says:

Ok, you’re the freak who lives on Mars.

Come back in 40 years, and see how many Kesha and Beiber tracks are still being played. Then compare with the answer that most of the Beatles’ tracks are still being played today. That’s the difference between being briefly fashionable and being genuinely good.

    • Psilence says:

Wait……… I’m confused. Ke$ha is family friendly? Have you even heard her lyrics? Need I quote them for you?

If Ke$ha is family friendly, then our values have gone WAY down the drain. But then again… I knew that already.

    • teatime of death says:

Yeah songs about partying and getting drunk are WAY more ‘family friendly’ than Come Together or Eleanor Rigby. Also where the hell do you get your info, cause it should not exist.

    • teatime of death says:

“Class what we have here is a classic example on why wording is important. SupaKat here meant that The Beatles were more family friendly and talented, but as you can see many read it the wrong way.”

  29. thealbino1 says:

The Beatles were and still are a very influential band. They were revoluntionaries when it came to their music. They inspired many, their single “Yesterday” is the most covered song of all time.

I’m not saying you should love The Beatles or even like their music… I’m not saying you should know each band members name or their background or even the instrument/s they played… but I do think you should at least respect them for what they have done for music.

In my opinion, I do believe that Bieber and Ke$ha are stars that will fade in the near future. I don’t see them being as consequential as The Beatles… or The Rolling Stones… or Elvis Presley… or any other great band or musician who influenced generations. I’m not saying these two kids music is bad, because it’s not. I’m just saying they will disappear like many others do. Look back in the years… take the 90s for example… you had groups like Hanson and Spice Girls… they were mere flashes in the pan.

I don’t know much about music… so take my opinion as you’d like.

(Also… I do like this picture… I agree “ain’t” takes away from it, but nonetheless… I like it)

  30. Is this supposed to be ironic? Really, who are those two in front of Ringo???

    • Sean says:

They are two untallented, popular artists. Kesha, and Justin beiber

btw, justin needs to go through puberty!!!

  31. Emeline says:

I’m actually quite shocked that most people these days haven’t heard of Ringo Starr. What world are we living in, where people don’t know the Beatles and they say that Kesha is better???!!!

Yes, I am one of the generation growing up with the modern, new kind of music. I wasn’t born listening to the Beatles, Elvis, Rolling Stones and all the rest. Well, actually I was thanks to the incredible music tastes of my parents. But I heard of Ringo Starr when I was six years old!!!

I’m getting a little off track… I’m actually quite ashamed that those two are in front of Ringo, I bet they don’t even have a clue who he is and just what an amazing musician he is! I admit, I’m a fan of Justin Bieber- but I cannot STAND Kesha!!!
But compared to Ringo Starr, both of them are talentless. Compared to ANY real musician, that’s how they would look!!!

I haven’t really gotten my point across very well, but I have to go now to watch Doctor Who. I hope I haven’t bored people with my rant!
    Bye!

  32. Mittens says:

Hello from Jolly Old Blighty, home of The Beatles.
In my opinion, the Beatles are a really good band, and have influenced music. And I agree that Justin Bieber isn’t good, but as I haven’t heard any of Ke$ha’s songs I can’t really say much. However, I think that people forget about the “Silent Majority” in modern music. For example: Daft Punk. They are an exellent group who pushed electronica into the mainstream. Or Pendulem, who experiment by combining Drum’n'Bass with different types of music. They are often ignored when people say that the latest generation has no musical talent. We just show it in different ways. The generation before the Beatles probably thought they were talentless as well. So before you say that this modern generation has no talent, look at some other artists (Justin Bieber excluded)
    Goodbye from ENGERLUUUUND!!!

  33. Ashley H says:

    RingoBomb!

  34. Crystallia says:

Beiber’s adorable, but not very talented. Whoever the hell this Ke$ha chick is, I think she’s new but considering I don’t follow trends… she probably isn’t.

    Ringo? Hell yeah.

    • Crystallia says:

Did I screw up my avi…?

      • Crystallia says:

No guess it’s gone… damn. I forget how to get it back.

        • paws4thot says:

Is it a target with projections out from the outer ring, at 12 o’clock, 6 and I think about 5 and 7? If so, I’m seeing it in the 11:10 and 11:12 Pm messages, but the 11:11PM one has a purple “South cone” wearing sunglasses as avatar.

    • keirandevlin says:

she sings about getting drunk. which influences underage drinking. now i wouldn’t know, what with me only being 14, but i guess 60′s rock never did do that, am i right?

  35. tinaaa says:

ewwh. it’s that girl that looks like a blonde almost amy winehouse, the boy that sings(and looks) like a girl. hold it… RINGO! :D he saved this picture.

  36. Miles Rose says:

he’s like “O hai, don’t mind me. Just making a worthless picture better by Photobombing :3″

  37. StuntmanMike says:

None of this picture is important.

All three can suck my balls.

    • awesomeness says:

ur not important, so u can suck it. Ringo had an extremely large influence on culture and music.

He’s a complete nob-head. Not even close to being on par with the others.

Plus, I’m from Liverpool, and if there’s one thing we know how to bum over, its the Beatles – so it must be true…

  38. Cool Beans says:

Can I join your generation? Mine clearly sucks when it comes to music.

    • awesomeness says:

lol, our generation does suck when it comes to music.

      • girl ninja/girl zombie says:

        how

        • Phoenix says:

Because our generation has Miley Cyrus, Chris “Future Wife-Beater and Present Girlfriend-Beater” Brown, High School Musical, half of the Disney Channel, Justin Beiber, Ke$ha, rap artists who can’t write meaningful lyrics for crap, etc, etc.
Whilst previous generations had the likes of the Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones, U2, Buddy Holly, AC/DC (that’s supposed to be a lightning bolt for my fellow youngsters who are incredibly ignorant), Van Halen, the Grateful Dead, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, etc, etc.

Really, compare past musicians to the ones we’ve had in the past twenty or thirty years or so, and only a handful of them will ever be remembered for generations to come.
And even saying ‘a handful’ is quite a stretch.

  39. girl ninja/girl zombie says:

i like justin bieber but also like seeing what mean things some people are saying about him because……..well some of the things they say are freakin hilarious, but back to my point. i want everybody who hates justin bieber to reply to this message and tell me why you hate him so much

    • claregurl says:

His music consists of words repeating over and over again, they have absolutely no depth or poetic meaning. His voice is just plain annoying, and gives me headaches if i listen to more than one of his songs (and thats if i can stand through one of his songs) He has no real musical talent, and was discovered on youtube. He’s just another pretty poster-boy that will get record labels money. And, I do not like how much he tries to act like he’s from the ghetto.
What I’m mainly trying to say is that his “Music” is not really music. At least not what music is supposed to be. All he does is sing about some girl that only exists in his little imagination. If you are going to sing music, be able to put some poetry behind it, not just the words “Baby”, “Oh”, and “Yeah”. He’s 16, and he sings about love. It’s quite obvious that he doesn’t truly know what love is.
By reading the lyrics of his songs, he also sings about being stuck up. “There’s going to be one less lonely girl”. Why does he suddenly think that any girl would actually enjoy his presence?
Oh yes, some of use Justin-haters actually have legitamit reasons. And no, I’m not some person in my thirties who “Doesn’t understand what it’s like to be a teen”. I am 13, and instead of obsessing about people I’ll never meet, I did something with my life.

      • Phoenix says:

You seem to be one of humanity’s only hope for the future!

      • Katie says:

claregurl, you are awesome! I too am 13 and agree with you totally! You know what, only 3 kids (including me) listen to the beatles…. My school has 1200 kids…..
        THE BEATLES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

  40. iLikeCookies:) says:

    Woah!
As I’m scrolling down the page all I see is “KE$HA AND JUSTIN SUCK!!!! BEATLES FOREVER!!!!!”
But, I mean, that’s from your point of view, but from mine and others, I love Ke$ha and Justin and think the Beatle suck, but just because we a different musical taste, doesn’t give you the right to insult me.

    • Phoenix says:

But they’re not insulting you, they’re insulting Ke$ha and Justin Beiber and pointing out the fact that unlike the Beatles, they will be forgotten in a few months- or year, if the fangirls are crazy enough.

  41. MsLissy says:

I would just like to say that not all of our generation’s music sucks… just the mainstream. If you go off mainstream and listen to some OK Go or MGMT, you might be more happy.

…But I have to say that Kedollarsignha is the worst ‘artist’ of our generation. I say ‘artist’ loosely because I can’t call her a singer seeing as she uses autotune. She’s a dirty sob who’s songs have one meaning to them; getting drunk. If I go into it anymore, it will get as dirty as her face.

I prefer bands that make songs in a variety of meanings, are innovative, can deliver on their repected instuments and give something new to our generations. I meantioned OK Go and MGMT because I feel that they unique, talented and show variety. (And no, all of those songs that MGMT sings are not about drugs.. only some of them). Granted, if there is something mainstream that does have talent I will listen to it (*cough*THEKILLERS!*cough*).

Ughhh, I have more to say but I’m too lazy to type it. Whatever. I’m going to go listen good music.

(BTW. The Beatles are pretty much the best band ever.)

    • Phoenix says:

I’ll give you that; mostly mainstream sucks…badly.
Although I’m saddened that you didn’t mention Green Day or Blink-182 or (in case you’re not much of a fan of punk or alternative) Phoenix.
Phoenix rocks! And I just BARELY realized that my screenname is also Phoenix, but I chose it because of Jean Grey and the mythical creature.
The Phoenix (band) and other connections just make the name all the more awesome.

  42. Summern says:

LOL – look where all this leads to – bad music. wow, how’d it get it to here?

  43. zahraizkewl says:

i am literally crying…this must b photoshopped..how kan a person like ringo be found in the same picture with these 2 bottomfeederz

  44. Initforthemusic12 says:

How can anyone agree that one Beatle was greater than another? Pure idiocy.
John was a much better songwriter than Paul. I’m a fan of his solo work, most of Paul’s I think is blah.
    Paul was a better Musician.
George was more introspective and had amazing guitar solos.
Ringo(♥) was a fantastic drummer and kept the others stable and down to earth.
They couldn’t be The Beatles without any one of them.

But my question, is much like zahraizkewl’s comment, why in hell is Ringo in this picture with those two?

  45. Mehh says:

I haven’t read all of these comments, so I am so, so, so sorry if I am repeating somebody (which I probably am with my stupidity), but…

People tend to say ‘nobody will remember them in [x] years.”
Well, yes, they will. It will probably take a generation or two for them to fade. Not because they are talented/not talented, but because of the number of hits they had/have and all the popularity surrounding them. Seriously, even thought Bieber Fever doesn’t compare to Beatlemania on a scale of sheer awesomeness and attractiveness and whatnot, it was a pretty big thing. Same with Kesha on a lesser scale. People will not forget them for a quite a long while.
Now, as a big Beatles fan, I must say I hope they live on forever with all my heart, but the more realistic idea is that one day they will be almost forgotten, in the very, very distant future of course. It is practically inevitable. Makes me cry like an emo kid to think of it D:

And also, I must add that nothing annoys me more than people claiming their genre as ‘real music’, and that anything mainstream is bad (coughhipstercough). But look back at the Beatles – they were massive. Completely and totally popular. But they were amazing and beautiful at the same time, so don’t say all popular songs/artists are bad just because it is what majority of people listen to.

    And as for ‘real music’…
All music is music. It can’t be fake. It can be stupid, rude, stereotypical, but it is all real. No one genre is truly better than the other when you see the world as a whole. All music is real. Get over it. Sure, you may have your opinions. Like me; I personally hate JB and Kesha and love the Beatles. Not because it is the job of a Beatle fan to hate pop music, like a lot of fans make it seem it is, but because it is not my personal taste. Simple as that. And a lot of Beatles fan feel the need to not like other genres, at least the ones I have seen. But the Beatles taught us to free our minds and love, as did many other artists, so do just that. You like a song? Like it. It doesn’t make you any less. And I have a feeling that maybe half of the Beatles fans on here wouldn’t have liked them as much when they were actively making their music, because they were what was popular. Some people just feel that liking older music makes them elite, I guess. But hey, I love the Beatles to death and loads of other bands, because it is all music. Some has a little more meaning than others, some has no talent to you, some has lots of talent to you. Just free your minds, people, my goodness.

  46. varenoea says:

He had to be replaced by studio musician during the first Beatles recordings, because he was simply too bad at the start.

And he’s still the most authentic musician in this picture….
