Judging by the always-caustic tone used by the author of this Twitter account (and the lack of a “Verified Account” stamp), I can’t say for certain that this is actually Robert Pattinson. But I like to believe that it is. It gives me small joy to believe that he despises Twilight as much as I do.

Although, to be fair, the movies are really that good, at least not compared to the books. Just sayin…
Movies are never good compared to the books… Two prime examples:
Harry Potter (I was appalled with eth Prisoner of Azkaban movie)
Lord of teh Rings (Done slightly better, but I still didn’t like it as much.)

Started reading Twilight because it was recommended to me… didn’t get past the first chapter because it was creepy in the way you describe. This was when it was first popular, so everyone thought it was great and didn’t understand what I was talking about when I said it was rubbish. *sigh*

This is not really him. Peter Facinelli has said many times on his verified account that Rob and Kristen do NOT twitter.
Of course getting a costar to tell everyone you don’t use twitter and misspelling your name on your account would be a brilliant way to say what you really feel without having to take responsibility. Probably not the case here, not convinced he has the brains to figure out a scheme that complex and devious.
Considering he only auditioned for the movies to get in Kristen Steward’s pants, and it seems to be working, I think you greatly underestimate his intelligence…
Considering the fact that BOTH spellings of his name are wrong, I’m positive that this is a fake account. However, it’s still kind of brilliant.

he does hate twilight, he even said in an interview that the entire series is “inane” among other things i cant remember right now. he went on to say he took the role knowing it would pay off in terms of money and fame. I appreciate that kind of honesty, and it tells me that he takes his career much more seriously than these movies. I think we have good things to expect from Mr Pattinson when they give him a REAL role besides supporting actor in Harry Potter.
check out The Haunted Airman. possibly just a case of terrible writing, but if thats what we have to look forward to from Rob, I shudder.
Remember Me-movie was bashed by critics, acting was bashed by critics, movie/acting was bashed by fans. They said this movie was horrific.
Little Ashes-don’t even get me started on that one.
Robert Pattinson has NO CAREER after Twilight. Now, he’s doing all of these other movies because Twilight is still relevent. Still, his movies make barely any money at the box office. Remember Me only made $58 it’s entire run. Little Ashes was in very limited release, only in about 21 theaters and it didn’t reach $1 million.
This is just an example of how much star power Harry Potter REALLY has over Twilight-Rupert Grint’s driving Lessons was in HALF the theaters as Little Ashes, and made over $1 million-MORE THAN ROB. Emma Watson’s TV movie Ballet Shoes got 100% like rating on rotten tomatoes. I know only 12 critics reviewed it, but it’s a TV movie. If Rob or anyone else did a TV movie, it wouldn’t even get a 60% rating. Daniel Radcliffe and Equus-SOLD OUT EVERY SINGLE DAY I WAS IN LONDON-nuff said.
I’ve heard that nearly the entire cast of Twatlight hates the series with a passion…but none of them seem to be getting work elsewhere, so I guess they’re just sticking with it for the money. You can bet your ass they’re raking it in.
I think Taylor what’s-his-face is the only one that actually takes it seriously. At least that what I gather from how he reacts to fans, interviews, etc, as opposed to the rest of the cast.
He could just be nice..you never know.
I remember one interview with him saying he plays Edward as a “107 year old virgin who hates himself” in which case he succeeds. Twilight is ripe for snarking, but most the actors and actresses are just making an easy buck, and I can’t hold that against them.
