While I do agree that the ending sucked monkey balls, I am sure there were better captions out there then these. I didn’t enter this contest, so I shouldn’t be complaining.

    second..i don’t care either..

I don’t care either. Didn’t even really care about the last season but I watched it just to see how they were going to wrap it up. Pretty annoyed that they didn’t actually bother wrapping it up. They got off to such a good start and then they just flushed it down the toilet. I’m kinda waiting for the research to come out saying that it was all a set up to see how long people would keep watching it after it started sucking.

I will definitely watch it. I was satisfied by the end. There wasn’t much to do tbh. They summed it pretty good.

These extra 12m sure are going to be worthy.

Agreed. I know a lot of people were unhappy about things being left unanswered (and to be honest, a month before it ended I was one of those people frothing at the mouth about how angry I would be if certain things weren’t explained), but I found myself oddly satisfied by the ending. After thinking about it for a while, I realized that most of the questions didn’t really matter (Who was in the other outrigger? Who cares? If they didn’t need to include it for the story to make sense, then it doesn’t matter.) The big questions, like exactly how the electromagnetism and time travel stuff worked, really probably work better as mysteries than as things with definite known answers.

Really, at least in my experience, when a big question goes unanswered for more than just a very short while, *any* answer will be a letdown. After the finale, I saw a lot of people who didn’t like it going on about how “Lost wasn’t about characters, it was about mysteries!” The thing about that is, those people didn’t realize how right they were; Lost was always about *mysteries*, but it was only rarely about *answers*. Really, if you aren’t okay with wondering about things, I have to wonder what you were doing watching the show in the first place.

I can only think of one question that was big enough to be important, small enough for a satisfactory answer to be possible, and yet was still unanswered, and that’s the question of why pregnant women almost always died on the Island. I’ve read a theory that it has to do with Jacob’s real mother’s death, but if that’s it, I would have liked them to make it a little bit more obvious, and if not, then I think they should have answered it. Still, one question that should have been answered but wasn’t isn’t that bad. ;)

Seriously? That’s the best you could come up with? You guys are a bunch of crybabies. No matter how the show would have ended, you wouldn’t have been satisfied with it. Your “caption contest” is simply a lame attempt at getting the last word in a situation beyond your control. Get over yourselves and admit Lost was excellent, even it occasionally sucked.
