CSI kicks off its new season with the acting debut of Miss Justin Bieber. The teen songstress will play a troubled teen… so be prepared for some serious pouting and helmet hair flipping back and forth.

Bieber’s story arc begins on the Sept. 23rd premiere and will pay off later in the season. Argh, thanks a lot CBS, sacrificing not only the premiere episode but also other episodes to girl-wonder, Bieber. Are you trying to get us to want to start watching CSI: Miami? Cause, sadly, Caruso is probably better than Biebs.

Here’s hoping the plot involves CSI Catherine Willows doing a DNA test and confirming that Ms. Bieber is in fact a lady-boy.

That’s right, the man who brought you the Scoobies is tackling the Marvel classic, “The Avengers.” Joss Whedon announced he is directing the film this weekend in San Diego at the annual fanboy extravaganza , Comic-Con.

The movie promises to be  jam-packed with superhero goodness. Indie-icon Mark Ruffalo will take over for Edward Norton (who took over for Eric Bana) as Bruce Banner, aka THE HULK. Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Steamy Scarlett Johansson returns as Black Widow. Samuel L. Jackson plays Nick Fury.  Clark Gregg is Shield Agent Coulson. Jeremy Renner will be Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye. And, Chris Hemsworth will be Thor and Chris Evans will portray the iconic, Captain America.
